How do you make the blinkies?

Blinky Tutorial except I'm not like other blinky makers

Step 1: steal someone's template. I stole this person's flashy overlay template

Step 2: be too much of a simple man to use Ibispaint and open fucking Picsart because at least that's free on my computer. pick a background colour and shove a flag in the middle bit. I chose the transpunk flag

Step 3: put some badass text in the middle, add a colour filter to the flashy bit if you want because I can't be arsed to learn how to properly recolour it, and download it

for this one I also cropped the symbol part of the flag and lined the stripes up on both sides so it looks like I have the symbol as a png when I don't

Step 4: change the colour filter of the flashy bit because I especially can't be bothered to find a way to swap the colours properly like you can do on IbisPaint. for black and white I use the invert filter, for the rest I just pick a different one. download that too

Step 5: go to ezgif.com, shove both images in the maker, personally I set the delay time to 50 which is pretty slow but I wanted to make them not kill your eyes. save it

Step 6: click resize under the gif. I resize to 40%. save it. now you have a mini one too. go you

A transid for those who feel as if they should worship and/or work with the Norse deity Loki, but don’t or can’t for whatever reason

The name includes the Ancient Greek word para- which can mean ‘next to / beside’

Here's what I could come up with using the transnorsepagan flag as a template. I'm not a Norse pagan so I have no idea if the runes the coiner used have any significance. If anyone knows what they say that'd be great, I can't recolour the centre properly if I want to keep the runes, so I at least want to know they mean something. If not, I could do with ideas for what symbols to use instead

I also cleaned up some of the weird curved pixelated lines around the symbol in the original when I was making my template:

A transid for those who feel as if they should worship and/or work with the Greek deity Dionysus, but don’t or can’t for whatever reason

The name includes the Ancient Greek word para- which can mean ‘next to / beside’. It could also be called TransparaDionysus but I thought this could get mixed up with transpara terms

The flag is based on the transhellenicpagan flag by @transx-mogai-cafe. I’ll be coining more of these so feel free send in recommendations for any type of deity

Non-Contact / No-Contact / NC Flag

I didn't coin this term. It's been in use in the para community for a long time to refer to when you personally aren't going to make contact for your paras, so I made a flag for it

what counts as 'making contact' varies per individual, but most of the time I don't see people counting fiction or roleplay, just the real thing you also don't need to be anti-contact to be non-contact

Hey, your blinkies are really cool, is there any specific flags/flag categories you won't do, or are you okay with about anything?

I personally won't do any terms that consider themselves pro-nonconsent, pro-abuse, or are widely associated with those viewpoints

this means I won't do basedqueer/lsdqueer. I also won't do xenosatanism because whilst I know views differ there, I don't like its obscure/unclear wording or the nature of its community rn

I may also reject requests for other things on a case-by-case basis. things like 'pro-contact x flag' or cisharm/hateful flags I might not do purely because Tumblr would hate me but idk

send in the requests anyway and I'll just decide then and there tbh
