Hello! My name is Milo. I'm a cisautistic person who was diagnosed in 2018. My symptoms of autism are very subtle, and as I've aged I've veered further and further away from every autistic trait I've ever had in the past. I wanted to remind every transautistic person that:
You don't need special interests/hyperfixations
You don't need to avoid eye contact
You don't need to struggle socially
You don't need to have sensory issues
You don't need to mask
You don't need to have motor control issues
You don't need to misunderstand social norms or constructs
You don't need to be body/facial language blind
You don't need to have hyper/hypo empathy
You don't need to stim
None of these things apply to me, as a cisautistic person. In fact, aside from being overwhelmed easily, I'm completely asymptomatic. None of the symptoms listed above are prerequisites for the disorder. While I will never fully understand your experiences, I wanted to validate them. Everything you experience in relation to your autism is also experienced by cisautistic people. You don't need to change things about yourself to be a "real" autistic, because "real" autistics are already just like you. Dysphoria sucks, and it isn't rational, but I hope that this helps at least a little. I'll always be happy to give passing tips to transautistic people. You guys deserve all the love in the world, and my blog will never not be a safe space for you. I've supported you my whole life even before joining rq circles, and I will never stop

TRANSHYPERPHANTASIA (trans-hyper-phantasia)
I made the version of the flag with an apple photo for a joke mainly, but it can be used genuinely as well !! explanation of the joke below...
The joke is, most pictures that explain the difference between hyperphantasia, aphantasia and neither, always use an apple as an example. Like the one below. I thought it would be kinda funny to use a hyperrealistic apple as a symbol for this flag, especially because it doesn't fit among the usual simplistic designs of other flags :p

Stop getting envious over things you’ll never be or nor will ever have. This is about us personally 💕
Not all of us hate being a minority. I personally love my actual ADHD, my actual GAD, my actual OCD, my actual PTSD, my actual Dyscalculia. and actual queerness! What we hate is when you try and become us and take our resources. Like Capitalism is already a struggle for us, don’t make it worse by taking things. Our struggle is real, and a constant battle. Just because we had to battle for the spot we have today doesn’t mean we hate what we battled for. And as much as you claim to understand us, or relate to us, you’ll never know how it feels to walk outside and wait for police to brutalize you. Or waiting for laws that say “Oh well, you’re ugly to us now! Soo… never go outside again!” or for people to hurt you for being actually a minority. Unlike us, who can’t choose to take off the things that make us minorities when things get rough YOU CAN! You may want to be us but you’ll never be us. Unless of course, God suddenly comes down and is like “Sure!!1” or I mean, you actually become disabled from things you can’t control like an illness or something else. But ig you Transableds and transracers will just have to pray for that—
Anyways.
Actual black people are beautiful
Actual Queer people are beautiful
Actual Asians are beautiful
Actual Non-white people are beautiful
Actual disabled and neurodivergent people are beautiful (even if you are self diagnosed! Self diagnosed ≠ “Transabled/Transneurodivergent”)

Transneuaju
Tumblr media
Transneuaju is a transabled term, for people that want to be transabled to help other disabled people.
Examples: someone that wants to have ADHD to help neurotypicals understand ADHD, symptoms
neurodivergent that wants to talk to another neurodivergent, or someone that will understand their neurodivergence, so a cisneurotypical/divergent start to desire to become neurodivergent to speak with the other neurodivergent person
someone with a neurodivergent friend that wants to have a neurodivergence because this will make their neurodivergent friend happy
And other situations that apply to the term
Can be used by those with hyperempathy and other people too
you can use for other disabilities not necessary, neurodivergencies.
Reminder: if you’re going to have a new transabled do a research about the symptoms, and things of the chosen neurodivergence, it’s always necessary to have this knowledge!
this term was made in good faith by a cisneurodivergent that supports the transabled community, it wasn’t made to hurt or invalidate an individual, if you don’t like this term, you don’t need to use it.
flag meaning:
diagonal stripes colors are picked from transabled flag.
the flower represents both cisneurodivergent and transneurodivergent people united together

Note
ok hold on just for clarification are you like. pro transid etc.
i try and stay out of transid discourse for a variety of reasons:
with transdisability / transneurodivergency, i find it difficult to understand who the discourse serves? like, witch-hunting transautistics is not beneficial to me, as an autistic person, and if a transautistic is helping with fighting systemic anti-autistic ableism/sanism, then good.
i also find it difficult to understand exactly how transdisability / transneurodivergency is harmful beyond the emotional response of "how dare you romanticise my suffering". it's an extremely niche online discourse, online resources (i.e "tips on managing autism" posts, pages/blogs about disability, etc) cannot be depleted, and irl resources are either locked behind a diagnosis, difficult to get ahold of, or both, that i have no concerns that a transdisabled/transnd person will ever meaningfully take resources or whatever. the worst that could happen is that some impressionable preteen gets a really weird perspective of disablity/neurodivergency but like, they do that already
like even if some department of work and pensions dickhead is like "people on the internet are calling themselves transdisabled we need to develop a more rigorous screening process that will make more disabled people want to die when trying to get on benefits", thats not really the fault of transdisabled people? that's just systematic ableism.
it's not a discourse i'm currently capable of participating in or even researching without the kneejerk "they're romanticising my suffering" reaction, and if i am going to participate in it then i want to do so with a clear head and an understanding mindset, both of which i can't achieve right now
and there are, of course, cases where someone who is autistic finds transautistic to be a helpful "gateway label" (where their previous/current identification as transautistic helps them in realising/acknowledging/accepting their autism), there are probably people with a super weird relationship with being autistic (like, someone who was diagnosed as a child, and then their family hid this from them or gaslit them about it, etc, and then they later find out that they're autistic) who find transautistic to be a useful label,
with transrace, i'm white and i do not have a strong enough understanding of race like at all to have an opinion on any of it.
so like, idk if i can really be described as pro or anti transid? i try not to make myself the arbiter of people's internal experiences & i want to extend compassion and understanding to as many people as i can. i dont know enough or care enough to really make a comment on it.
my opinion on transplural is different because its like. a thing that you can do? no matter whether or not it's a good thing, or should be done, or if certain groups of people should do it, or what it should be called, or how it should be done, it is possible for someone who has been a singlet for their entire life to create a new guy in their brain and thus be plural.
is transplural a super good term? is it transphobic? i mean, i don't think so. other people probably disagree with me, but i don't really find that relevant. i don't see a way that it's tangibly harmful or transphobic beyond, again, "youre romanticising my suffering", and i don't really have an interest in discoursing about whether or not something is harmful based on my or someone else's kneejerk reaction to it
and honestly, if someone considers their plural journey to be similar to transitioning, hell yeah! queer the identity.
but i mean, with the post i made, the person did literally say "i am in support of people creating systems" (which is what willogenic means) but then also said "i am not in support of people creating systems". if it were the term transplural specifically, they made no indication of that

@plural-void Honestly, I'm not sure! I think the closest could possibly be Münchausen's Syndrome, but I think that's a bit iffy, considering the actual symptoms.
As far as I'm aware, there's no actual disorder for wanting a disorder, weirdly enough. Most people put it off as attention seeking, rather than an actual disorder.
Honestly, it's really annoying how this is actually ignored by professionals as simply attention-seeking when it's not.
I'm really iffy with a lot of TransID terms, but I'm also fully aware that there are people who wish to have disorders, yet don't. So maybe something like Transneurodivergent may actually be most helpful for you?
It's truly hard to say and I wish I could be of better help, but this is all I know.

[ID: There are three flags. The two on the right and left are identical, but the one in the center has a symbol. The flag is a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes flag, and colors in this order, top to bottom: Dark grey blue, a pale bluish cyan, black, white, black, a medium pinkish red, and dark scarlet. The black stripes are thinner, while the rest of the stripes are equal in size. There is a symbol on the center of the flag. The flag in the center has a symbol that is a heart that is split in half. It has a thick black outline and the inside of the symbol is white in color. /End ID]
BIID Flag
[PT: BIID flag /end PT]
BIID: Body integrity dysphoria (BID), also referred to as body integrity identity disorder (BIID), amputee identity disorder or xenomelia, and formerly called apotemnophilia, is a rare mental disorder characterized by a desire to have a sensory or physical disability or feeling discomfort with being able-bodied, beginning in early adolescence and resulting in harmful consequences.
There were no BIID flags that I could find, or at least, none that appealed to me and/or weren't related to transID/radqueer stuff.
This flag is for people with BIID only!

UPDATE: so. Um. I think most transid labels rnt.. rlly that big of a deal. I don't care if someone identifies as a different age (i did my own look on ""transage"" people awhile back!) Or height or species or whatever. I dont care.
I dislike the term "transrace" as it is often used incorrectly. "Transracial" or "transcultural" is used by children of a race/culture who were adopted within a family w/ a different race/culture.
I dislike the term "transabled", though I fully support BIID & they r disabled.
"Transneurodivergent" or "transplural" is really fucking weird.
Idk if theres anything else 2 put here. I am always open 4 a discussion though, idk 2 much abt transid.
What's your opinion on people who identify with radqueer, transid or anything similar to it? /gen
I.. have no idea what any of that is please hold on while i try 2 figure put what the fuck those r.
