id love some positivity for systems who use I/me, parts language, and/or don't have extremely distinct alters right now, I feel very insecure :( /nf
Of course! Alessia is going to help with this too. :)
If I/me feels natural, that's so valid. There's no "right" way for systems to communicate or exist. Using singular language doesn't mean your system isn't real; it's just how your mind finds comfort and expression!
Parts language is also very very valid! And incredibly common! Whether you call them parts, facets, members, or something else--you know the truth best.
Distinctness between alters can vary wildly from system to system, and it doesn't define how real you are. Whether your alters (or parts) feel subtle, blended, or distinct, that doesn't take away from your experiences. All systems are complex and often don't fit into neat little labels-- and that's beautiful.
You are enough as you are. Your system's existence, experiences, and words matter. No one decides if you're real or not. No one gets to decide what language you use, because you are the expert of your own life.
Be gentle with yourself. You're doing the best you can, and that's more than enough. <3

pieces is a lovely alternative too! i can definitely see how that'd bring your system closer together instead of using "fragments". thank you for sharing!
here's some positivity for language.
you use "parts" language? hey, that's awesome! it's not inherently dehumanizing. for some people, parts language actually makes them feel more close to their system and more human. that's beautiful!
you prefer to use the term "alters"? totally understandable and badass of you. it's a great word for a very unique experience! it also often makes for a good umbrella term, i've seen. "alter" is easy to apply to anyone ranging from a fragment to a fully fleshed out guy.
or how about if you use "headmates"? that's such a fun word. it's like roommates, but more personal. very great choice! it's a wonderful term to use and for many people, it's a perfect fit to describe their experience.
for those who prefer "facets" or "states", that's an awesome specific term for your experience, which is cool as hell! it's great to see language that isn't always considered as "mainstream", and you + your system belong in the community just as much as everyone else does.
let's come together today and appreciate all the different ways to refer to each other. what works for me may not work for you. that's why we have different terms, and this list is by no means all-inclusive. make sure to ask people what they prefer when referring to them, and don't belittle others for the terms they choose to use.
what language do you use? why? feel free to share!
no hate to anyone else in the notes, please! this is a positivity blog.

can we get a little positivity for adaptive systems? i think it's so beautiful how the mind can create individuals to help with a situation or experience or dark time.
adaptive systems, what are some things you appreciate about yourselves? feel free to share!
for me, i am so eternally grateful to all of my alters for what they do on a daily basis and have done for as far back as i can remember. we work as a wonderful team and i appreciate every single one of them so dearly.

here's a shoutout to created systems and members!
you are not evil, faking, cruel, or stealing resources. your lived experience is your very own, not for anyone else to pick apart. i hope your day goes as well as it can.

hello! welcome to plurality galaxy, a space (ha) for affirmations and positivity. i noticed a lot of the positivity blogs have been inactive lately, so i decided to try my hand at making my own.
admin is a fusiotien DID system. alters' real names will be kept anonymous, but we may use some form of sign-off. we are physically disabled, mentally ill, & neurodivergent. we are an adult in our mid 20s. we use singular and plural language interchangeably depending on the situation.
this blog is not for syscourse. this blog is for positivity. that said, we do not support the use of the term tulpa due to controversy and the multiple people who have taken issue with it, and thus use paromancy as a substitute.
this blog is endo safe, PD safe, & common triggers will be tagged. the format for tags is ___ tw.
we take requests, positivity/gushing about your system, and anything else of the sort!
radqueers, transIDs (not transgender people, but things like "transdisabled", "transharmful", etc.), ableists, r/systemscringe, fakeclaimers, basic dni criteria (racist, zionist, homophobic, transphobic, etc), & supporters, stay away! this blog is NOT for you.
