Okay, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I still had to edit a few washed out pieces, but for the most part, everything looks alright

#I dreamt about the zombie apocalypse but I didn’t KNOW it was the zombie apocalypse at first#bc it started out with just me hanging out with some friends#we were swimming at some dam at a lake in the middle of nowhere and then the dam broke and swept us away#it took us like two days to get back to the small country town near the lake and when we did the whole place was flooded and abandoned#we could find anyone for a while but then we stumbled upon this old lady and she took us back to her house#she let us shower and gave us clothes and food and even offered us her car!#at the time we just thought she was being a really nice lady but it was actually bc she’d been bit and knew she didn’t have much time left#she also didn’t tell us this for some reason or the fact that her family was locked in the basement bc they’d all turned into zombies#she did tell us not to go down there tho but one of my dumb friends did and guess what? he died#And then when we heard him screaming the old lady started spamming and coughing and turned and then she killed another one of my friends#so then it was just me and like two others and we took everything she gave us and booked it to her car and we speed racered tf out of there#that was when I woke up but then I ended up being like ‘eh. five more minutes’ like an IDIOT and surprise surprise my dream picked back up#but it was like from a different person’s perspective#she survived a plane crash. like a plane crashed into her house in the middle of the woods#and she had to book it bc some of the zombies in the plane also survived#why were there zombies in the plane? idk dream logic#she also had two little fluff ball dogs with her and a cat that kept taking off and causing her grief#and then she found like this little suburban area where people were just living despite the zombie apocalypse happening#and they would just set off bombs in random parts of the neighborhood and whoever was there at the time#either survived by dodging the zombies and getting to safe houses or died and became zombie chow#and one of those bombs went off near her and this like drunkard red head pulled her into a safe house AFTER SHE LOST HER DOGS AND CAT#like they just took off#I have no idea what happened to them bc at that point I woke up again and was too traumatized to go back to sleep#this is actually a pretty common occurrence for me if I’m honest#my dreams are crazy cinematic

I’ve noticed that my creative process anymore is
70% of my time spent on YouTube, trying to find a song to loop and then getting distracted by other shiny videos for hours
20% getting back up to refill my water cup every half hour
and then 10% of actually concentrating long enough to draw for maybe 15-20 minutes
and then it’s 3 am and I need to go to bed

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
