i've been feeling kinda out of sorts for a bit with my gender, so i'm giving myself the good grace to try what feels right

i guess you could call this "coming out" again, but idk

i identify as dollmasc(dollboy) and here's the flag for that

i'm trying out new pronouns with it, those being doll/dolls, but that is subject to change as i feel it all out

i'm still breaking down the internalized stigma against neos in my head, so bear with me

Struggling with my identity and feeling complicated

To other dollkins out there, how did you deal with the 'coming to terms' stage if you had one?

There's nothing better than having a kin.

Like, I, both physically and in sys, am a kitsune

But kin wise, I'm a bjd. Just a pretty little ball jointed doll

And it's the one time my brain lets me turn it off and accept people taking care of me, because like

I get to be a good doll and just stay still and let them get me all washed up and put into a pretty outfit. All tender hands and perfectly warm water and soft clothes and a kiss on the forehead or shoulder. Held close by someone so gentle, knowing how much more fragile I can be compared to other things in their vicinity.

There's nothing sweeter to me than that.

But also, I'm just a Pullip doll. My eyes can even blink and move side to side like they're famous for~

There are the fun parts of being a doll such as wearing cute outfits, accesorizing, having tea parties with ur fellow dolls and stuffed animals, etc

But then theres the times I'm nonverbal, that I feel disconnected from my human friends, feeling as though my body isn't cute and doll like enough, and insecurities in general that come with being nonhuman in a human body.

Being otherkin is not all sunshine and rainbows, there are absolutely rough parts, and I think we should talk about that more.
