Old Madras Baking Company. I have been in love with this place. Have been in love with their Chicken Cheese Toast and their Chicken Makhani Sandwich. They're both yummy. However, the edges of the sandwich are a little too hard. Apart from that, they're super good. La Prezzo Wood Fire Pizza - Discovered this place under dire circumstances on the first day of this year. It's on the left side of the road from Radisson Hitech City, Gachibowli to DLF building. It's a tiny place but served everything fresh and hot (except the drinks, of course). We ordered Cheese Garlic Bread, French Fries, Spicy Chicken Pizza ( with Cheddar Cheese, Jalapenos, Olives, Bell Peppers, Herbs), French Fries, Fresh Lime Soda and Coca Cola. Botht the garlic bread and the pizza were served fresh, hot and they both tasted super yummy. I was inclined to trying something more, but decided to come back there on another day!!! Ironhill Cafe I've heard a lot about this place, but couldn't make it there until very recently. I was blown away with the amount of variety that they're able to offer under one roof. I had their Bond's Toast, Jalapeno Cheese Balls and the Garlic Bread with Cheese. The toast was super yum, and perfectly tempered. Neither was it too tender nor was it too hard... And the maple syrup was simply perfect. The cheesy balls were something that's not to be missed by anyone, though I'd be forced to say they turned out to be quite expensive compared to the portion size. Le Vantage Cafe' I keep hearing rave reviews about this place. However, hadn't had the chance of visiting it until last week. And when we did visit, I was flummoxed by the amount of crowd that was present there. It was like a testimony to their reputation. What was even better, was the food. We had ordered Tangy Strawberry, which was a Strawberry version of a Virgin Mojito. Then ordered the regular, Choco Frappe, which was a little more diluted compared to most other upmarket places. We ordered the Pulled Chicken Sandwich which was nice and flavourful except the lack of salt in the bread made it feel a little lopsided in terms of the distribution of the flavours. Maharaja Chat The most familiar name for chat in the newest parts of Hyderabad, had to go there as we were waiting for a vendor for our upcoming outlet. Ordered a Pav Bhaji, Samosa Ragada and a Papdi Ragada. Loved the Papdi Ragada as it was crisp on the outside, while the chole used were perfectly balanced in terms of the spices. The Pav Bhaji, over a period of time, has lost its sheen at this place and doesn't seem to be their best dish anymore. Theobroma... The name itself sounds like a temple of sheer bliss, eternal peace and tranquility. I don't know about the rest of yours, but for my belly's rumblings, it sure is a place of peace and tranquility once the glutton in me makes a move on the millionaire brownie.... Their Millionaire Brownie is out of the world.... They say it is a combination of three layers, one, their classic chocolate brownie, a layer of gooey buttery caramel (which tastes a little like the nougat), and a seriously thick layer of chocolate (which has chocolate chunks in it... Which I didn't find, the last time I had it in Delhi in December of 2019). Their sandwiches, just gave me a sense of nostalgia that their sandwiches are not the ones which I would want to endorse, coz I find the bread very dry, which isn't the practice here in Hyderabad. But for the variety of brownies that they have, it sure is a destination. But again I'd say they're the best in the business for their variety of brownies, bit they needn't be the best at the taste and their offerings. I was wondering at the amount of options they have. I think over a 100 different types of food itnes you can choose from. Great work guys... Keep it up... Café Eclat - I have always been mesmerized with the quality of food that is served here at this place. Have been going here for the past 3 years. Their French Fries are out of this world. Almost no oil can be seen. So are their potato wedges. But they're both crispy to the core. Their Coleslaw is amazing. Exquisite taste and feels fresh everytime I've been there. Here, we ordered a Pesto Chicken Sandwich and a Pulled Chicken Burger. Both were yum and tasty.
