One of the biggest mistakes I see people making is thinking that "things will just work out." Now, hear me out, I understand trusting and having faith, but what I find is that some are sitting and "trusting" that things will change (ie. debt will pay itself, 30 lbs will come off, relationship will get better, finally find a job I love) and then are waiting for "it" to come. Instead, clarity + action + faith = real change and growth. What does this mean? 1) Ask yourself, What do I really want right now? Clarity sets your internal GPS and generates excitement as you create your game plan. 2) Action. Movement. Daily action towards your goal. At first it may feel like a turtle moving uphill 🤣 and you won't see a ton of change, but over time the compound effect takes place and 2+2 does not = 4. 🙌 3) Adding wild faith and trust while you are taking action creates momentum! Action + high excitement + deep trust + over time = super fun growth in your life. I don't know about you, but in 3 years I want to look back and be super proud of how I used my time and who I became in the process. 🥰 If you have a dream that keeps stirring. I just want to take a moment and talk about this boy right here. As many know, he was diagnosed with Autism last fall. (But before he was diagnosed, I knew he was unique.) At first, the mom guilt kicked in. I thought it was my fault, that I did something wrong. And then I blamed God. Thinking why me? What did I do to get punished? But then after I came to terms, I realized I wasnt being punished or at fault! God blessed me with Jayden because he knew I could handle it and give him all the love he could ever need. This boy was my advanced baby. Walking by 8 months, talking by 1year and over coming big obstacles. He is so smart, brave and just so full of love and light. Every day is different. Today I thought it would be nice to have some 1 on 1 with Jayden. It's difficult to spread your time evenly between 3 kids. And sometimes I feel like I'm a failure and the guilt hits hard. So today we grabbed the few ingredients we were missing and we baked 2 types of cookies :) The few good memories I have growing up. Were mom and I baking together. This is 1 tradition I want to pass onto my boys.
