-Do not just hit like on artwork, unless you plan to reblog it later! Tumblr has no algorithm. The only way to support artists is to reblog their work!

-Set an avatar! A blank icon will make people think you are a bot. It's okay, the icon doesn't have to be anything fancy- even a meme or picture of your dog will do! Just do it as soon as possible- before interacting with anyone.

-Tumblr is far less debate/drama heavy. That's why there's a filtering system! You can filter any tags that you don't want to see. It isn't perfect, but it helps! Remember to include variations of tags!

-if you think a post may be triggering in a certain respect, tag it with a trigger warning! IMPORTANT: DO NOT CENSOR THE TAG. DO NOT PUT "M*rd3r tw". PUT THE FULL WORD ("Murder tw"). IF YOU CENSOR IT, IT WILL NOT BE EFFECTED BY THE FILTERING SYSTEM. IT IS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE. THANK YOU.

-Use tags for your posts to be seen! Again, there is NO algorithm here! Don't crosstag with unrelated stuff, though. That just pisses people off, and you'll get blocked.

-Blocking is NOT an act of aggression here! Blocking simply means you don't want to see certain content, there is no ill intent behind it! Don't feel bad blocking someone, and don't feel bad if you get blocked by someone! It isn't personal.

-Don't make discourse accounts. Just don't. We've moved past this.

-Don't doxx people, either. Just block people and move on. If you doxx someone, there are consequences here. (Sighs) (looks at kung pow penis) just don't.

-Don't belittle people for their fandoms/interests. Don't bully people for their fandoms/interests being "cringey". We're all clowns here!

-RESPECT DNI LISTS. Please. They aren't personal. Tumblr heavily relies on an honor system. It doesn't matter how much you dislike someone or how mad you are at them. Respect the DNI lists. Thank you.
