I have never been more grateful to have insurance in my entire life. My little one had a terrible accident today which saw his tooth distorted and his lip split. He is currently under anesthetic getting the tooth remove and some stitches plus some X-rays to make sure his jaw is okay. I was was out the house for about an hour and all this has happened in the last 2 hours. So thankful to the vets in this world for just being incredible. If you don't have insurance for your animals please invest because things can happen in a split second. Born and raised around challenges bigger than myself. I love looking back through old photographs, especially when I'm feeling overwhelmed, as it makes me appreciate life so much more. Since going to do my Masters my life has been one massive whirlwind. It has been the best decision I've made but I'm right in the midst of it now with deadlines appearing before I even know it. This picture was me with my first serious horse. He taught me so much without my teenage self even knowing it. I had to challenge myself to trust him after a bad experience and we managed it. I am so proud of my brother. He has worked damn hard over the past 20 years, often sacrificing being here in order to provide a better life for himself. He's 36 now and he's finally finding his base. This woman gave birth and married at 16 ,gave birth again at 25 and 27. She buried her newborn son at 27, she ran her own business until she was 32 when she gave it up to look after her cancer stricken mum. She was an orphan at 38 and she's my best friend at the age of 52. I love my mum and I admire her daily. Of all the relationships in my life, the one with this man was the most complex. He was a complicated soul. He could cast darkness and light in equal measure all at the same time. He could be violent and loving, he could be the best dad and the worst parent, he knew how to make me laugh like no one else but also broke me like no-one else. Everyone knew something of or about him, but very few knew all of him. Even now when he's no longer here we're still learning. It's been 12 years to the day since I lost my dad. I remember it well and I feel more this year than any other. When I lost my dad I had just got home from America and I was awaiting my standard grade results in high school. This year it's 2 weeks till I go back to America and when I get back I'm going to be going to grad school to do my Master's in International Journalism. It seems significant that it's the same story but a little different. That's my dad over the back. I broke the cardinal sin. I filmed parts of tonight. I always swore I'd never do it and I'd always live in the moment of a gig, but sometimes you just know you're going to want to replay an evening. I did it with @tashsultanaofficial and again tonight with @camila_cabello. Now traveling home to get up at 5.30am to get to work and then the gym and hopefully be home for 8.30pm tomorrow.
