PRUNING: How I am being prepared for the next season?, God is removing everything we don’t need . My partner @kerwinniegirl is into horticulture and here is what she says about it: . “ Pruning is used to remove anything dead, diseased or to promote new growth to specific areas if it does not produce life. . Often pruning is done for the beautification of the plant, to allow some stalks or parts to grow larger and shape that shrub or tree. Understanding what each shrub or plant requires is very important for the one with the pruners to know. . Timing is also important, if improperly pruned in the wrong season you can destroy the new growth that produces the flowers. It is important to understand each plant and what it needs to bring out the beauty of that plant. You can do harm if you do not understand what that species needs. . For Crepe Myrtles, the places they bloom if not removed at that blooming tip, it will never bloom in that location. It only blooms on new wood. The tip ends of those shrubs are also pruned by the owners for beauty or structure to allow other parts to grow in size and structure and produce longer, taller trees from shrubs that would ordinarily be small. . The father took such care in creating each species and knows each one individually. When we understand with a small amount of information, we can bring out the best in each plant in the landscape or garden. If the Father took this much care in creating the trees, shrubs, and plants in our lives, imagine how much care he takes in knowing each one of us intimately and personally to care for each one. Knowing when and where to gently remove and encourage new growth.
