After getting separated from Oppo, RealMe launched its new smartphone last month – the RealMe 2. And as promised, the company kept its price under ₹10,000 and launched it with the starting price of ₹8,990. At the time of the launch, the company said that they have done huge improvements. The newcomer now comes with a fingerprint sensor and the notch.
The company also emphasized a lot over the design of RealMe 2. The newcomer carries a better look when compared to its predecessor. It also comes with a bigger display. Anyway, these are the things that the company says. Our job is to determine whether it really is good or not. So, we are going to put the handset against Honor 9N and Redmi 6 Pro.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Pros and Cons Review: Should You Buy It Or Not?
Xiaomi Mi A2 Pros and Cons Review
Xiaomi recently launched Mi A2 in India at a very competitive price point. The main highlights of the device are its camera but besides the camera, other specs equally matter. If the design doesn’t bother you and if you don’t play heavy games and do heavy stuff then you can purchase this device. If you want a good camera and an amazing processor at this price point then consider this phone. After using it for few times here we are with Pros and Cons of Mi A2, and we will tell you if you should buy this device or not.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Pros (Good Things):
1. Performance: Mi A2 comes with Snapdragon 660 processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU. Since Snapdragon is an Upper mid-range SOC, the performance of Mi A2 is good.
2. OS: The Mi A2 comes under the Android One program which means the software on the device will be supported by Google itself and will be updated quickly as soon as Google announces a new Android version. The stock UI is good and does not contain bloat.
3. Camera: The camera is the main highlight of this device. The camera is really good and is better than any other smartphone in this price range. The low-light photography is good too.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Cons (Bad Things):
1. Design: The design on the device is similar to other recently released Xiaomi devices and which looks boring and old. The lite variant of this device has a better design than Mi A2 itself.
2. Audio Jack: The Mi A2 doesn’t come with the 3.5mm headphone jack. So it will be a great disappointment to the music lovers.
3. Display: The display quality is good but the brightness is a little low. You will find a hard time trying to operate the device under the direct sunlight. There could be more brightness in the display.
4. Battery: The battery is a bit of disappointment here, first the battery is low capacity that is 3,010 mAh. The phone does come with Quick Charge 3.0 but the box doesn’t include a fast charger.

Oppo RealMe 2 Design, build and display: The RealMe 2 sports a 6.21-inch display which is of 720p resolution and has 19:9 aspect ratio. The display is huge and looks beautiful, the device is perfect for entertainment. The phone has a diamond cutting design patterns on the back and a dual camera set up along with a fingerprint sensor in the middle. The front looks beautiful too and has a notch and a very thin chin. Bezels are minimal too. Overall, the device looks premium.
Oppo RealMe 2 Specifications: The RealMe 2 definitely cannot be considered an upgrade to RealMe 1 as it has got a not so impressive Snapdragon 450 processor. The device performs decently at gaming and struggles to play heavy games through social media and casual browsing is a breeze. For graphics, the device has Adreno 506 GPU. The device is available in 3+32 GB and 4+64 GB variants.
Oppo RealMe 2 OS and UI: The device runs on color OS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The UI is customizable and user-friendly.

Coming to the back, Xiaomi has placed the dual camera setup vertically right in the centre. Below the camera module is a fingerprint sensor which is blazing fast. And at the bottom, you can see “Poco” branding.

This comparison was like a collision of the thorns. All three handsets come with nearly similar specifications and they have competed well with each other. But, as you know we only give the crown to the worthy one, we have selected the best among them and that’s none other than the Asus Zenfone 5Z. It defeats the Honor 10 and OnePlus 6 in terms of Display, UI and Camera.
Read more: OnePlus 6 Vs ASUS Zenfone 5Z
The Zenfone 5Z is the cheapest Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone till date. The 6GB+64GB variant of Honor 10 and Zenfone 5Z cost ₹29,999 whereas the 6GB+64GB variant of OnePlus 6 is priced at ₹34,999.
So which one is better among OnePlus 6 and Honor 10? Our answer is Honor 10. Because it is closely following the OnePlus 6 in terms of lowlight photography and defeats the OnePlus in terms of daylight photography. In terms of performance, they are nearly similar. So, spending extra ₹5,000 rupees isn’t worth it.
Do you own any of these three handsets? What do you think? Do tell us in the comment section below.

OnePlus has been ruling the under ₹40,000 segment for more than 3 years. There were no smartphones in that range; either you go for under ₹30,000 or above ₹40,000. OnePlus brought high-end features to an upper mid-range device and that was the reason for the company’s success. But now, Asus has entered this segment with Zenfone 5Z which is definitely a very good phone.
There is one more smartphone in this range – the Honor 10. All these three handsets come with very good features, though the Honor 10 is least popular as it comes with company’s in-house developed Kirin processor. Rest two have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845. Anyway, we are putting all three against one another to see which one is really worthy.

In this article, I felt like the competition was going on between Lenovo Z5 and Mi A2. The Redmi Note 5 Pro was just there for the namesake. As of now, we don’t know the pricing of either Mi A2 or Lenovo Z5. So my conclusion goes like this. If you are looking for a good looking handset with decent camera and performance, the Lenovo Z5 is a better choice.
But if you are okay with the old design and more bezels around the display, the Mi A2 is your toy. This handset comes with a powerful upper mid-range processor which means you can play nearly every android game without encountering any problem. Plus, its camera is better than any other phone available under ₹20,000 segment.
So which one is the winner? My answer is: Xiaomi Mi A2.

The Honor 9N comes with a lower mid-range price tag. It has good build quality, beautiful design and a vibrant display. In terms of performance, it is average and you can just play normal games. Playing heavy games on this device isn’t fun as its graphics performance is poor.
The handset offers better than average camera performance during daylight or good light situation but doesn’t satisfy when it comes to lowlight situation. So if you don’t click photos during lowlight, you can consider it.

Any new smartphone on the market is compared with smartphones from other companies. This is the usual exercise, this is how it goes. It is not too often that we find ourselves comparing two phones from the same company. But this time, it is going to be like this.

While the Honor 9 Lite has been one of the bestselling budget phones in India over the last couple of months, the Redmi 6 Pro is yet to come to India. We have already put the 9 Lite against several low-end smartphones like Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and RealMe 1 and now we are putting it against an upcoming smartphone – the Redmi 6Pro.
Both the Redmi 6 Pro and Honor 9 Lite come with nearly identical specifications. However, as the Redmi 6 Pro is new, it comes with notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio-equipped display. Still, the chin of these two handsets at the front has similar size. Before we dig deeper, have a look on their specs.
