While the Honor 9 Lite has been one of the bestselling budget phones in India over the last couple of months, the Redmi 6 Pro is yet to come to India. We have already put the 9 Lite against several low-end smartphones like Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and RealMe 1 and now we are putting it against an upcoming smartphone – the Redmi 6Pro.
Both the Redmi 6 Pro and Honor 9 Lite come with nearly identical specifications. However, as the Redmi 6 Pro is new, it comes with notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio-equipped display. Still, the chin of these two handsets at the front has similar size. Before we dig deeper, have a look on their specs.

Sony phones 2019 Review
Of course, any product under the famous Sony brand is interesting to consumers and experts. Sony smartphones are no exception. As known, the Japanese-Swedish Sony Mobile Communications Inc. was founded in 2001 and changed several names, including Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB and Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Today, the company is a division of Sony Corporation and specializes in the production of smartphones. As a leader in the segment of digital cameras and TVs, the company has vast experience in creating effective technologies in the field of image processing, improving color accuracy, etc. Of course, the company's engineers are actively using these opportunities. For example, the company has developed an Cinema Pro app for the Xperia 1 with the interface of professional Sony CineAlta cameras. In particular, this app contains special presets with different color temperatures. As a result, Sony smartphones even with modest specs of matrices provide high-quality shooting in various modes, and high-quality video content playback. In fact, this aspect allows the company to reduce the price of its models without much damage to quality. As known, a company rarely installs expensive matrices in its cameras, despite the fact that it is a leader in this segment.
Introduction
Unlike many of its competitors, Sony prefers to release several models each year that differ significantly from the smartphones of the previous year. By the way, Google, Apple and Oppo also use this strategy. On the other hand, many well-known brands, including Samsung, LG, Huawei (Honor), Xiaomi prefer the strategy of intensive expansion of the lineup. For example, in 2014 Samsung introduced 56 new models, and LG - 41 new smartphones. Of course, each of them has its own pros and cons. For example, a wide range expands the company's ability to experiment with components, including the chipset, screen and cameras, choosing their optimal combination. As known, the commercial success of many Best Sellers is due to a very good price/quality ratio. But on the other hand, a large number of models increases the cost of advertising, support, etc. Of course, each strategy has its supporters among the management of different companies. But for consumers, a wide range expands the choice of the optimal smartphone, unfortunately, often complicating it. In 2019, Sony introduced five new models, including the Xperia 1, 5, 10, 10 Plus, and the Sony Xperia L3.
Sony Xperia 1
Xperia 1 became one of the most unusual flagships of 2019. The company's engineers risked changing the traditional aspect ratio for smartphones. As a result, Xperia 1 was the first smartphone to support the 21: 9 CinemaWide format. As a result, the model has an elongated narrowed form factor. Thus, the conditional classification of smartphones may soon replenish with CinemaWide models. In the case of a positive reaction of consumers, they will complement the list of phablets, camera phones and gaming phones. Of course, this aspect will largely depend on ergonomics due to a change in the shape of the case. All components correspond to the flagship level. Xperia 1 uses an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (1 x Kryo 485 Gold Prime, 2.84 GHz + 3 x Kryo 485 Gold, 2.42 GHz + 4 x Kryo 485 Silver, 1.8 GHz) chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. As known, Gold Prime and Gold cores replaced the previous Cortex-A76, and Silver - Cortex-A55. Additionally, the smartphone has 6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal memory. In addition, the model uses a 6.5-inch CinemaWide 4K HDR OLED display with a 3840 x 1644 resolution, and its pixel density reaches an unprecedented 644 ppi. For comparison, the pixel density of the many flagships 2019 varies in the range of 300-400 ppi. As known, it directly affects eye strain. Thus, it is also ideal for long-term watching movies. The screen has Gorilla Glass 6 (IP65 / 68), an oleophobic coating, and also supports automatic brightness control and multi-touch. Xperia 1 also supports High-Res Audiowhich is also important when watching movies.
Cameras
Xperia 1 uses triple camera system, including: - 12MP, f/1.6, 26mm, 1/2.6", 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF, optical stabilization; - -"-, f/2.4, 52mm (telephoto), 1/3.4", 1.0µm, PDAF, 2x optical zoom, optical stabilization; - -"-, f/2.4, 16mm (wide-angle, 78 °), 1/3.4 ", 1.0µm. The front camera has an 8MP sensor with f/2.0, 24mm, 1/4", 1.12µm. In addition, the 3330 mAh battery provides 17 hours of viewing HD video at maximum brightness due to the highly efficient Stamina and Ultra Stamina modes. PROS - 21: 9 CinemaWide format; - stylish design; - high performance in games; - fingerprint's scanner; - Cinema Pro app; - long battery life with Stamina and Ultra Stamina modes when watching a video; - SteadyShot mode (5-axis stabilization); - OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) + EIS (Electronic (Digital) Image Stabilizer); - Dual Photo-diode technology (each pixel is configured by two photo-diodes, providing an increase in the absorbed light); - noise reduction for RAW format; - support for 10-bit color depth; - Bravia technology and X1 algorithm for HDR format; - support for High-Res Audio format; - Creator Mode. Cons - controversial ergonomics of an elongated narrow body; - average specs of cameras; - no wireless charging; - battery life is significantly reduced in games. Today, the Sony Xperia 1 successfully competes with the more expensive Samsung Galaxy S10+ and Huawei P30 Pro and with the cheaper Xiaomi Mi 9 and Asus ZenFone 6. Generally, it is ideal for watching movies, games, shooting, and has good prospects, especially among fans of this brand.
Sony Xperia 5, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus
At the Berlin IFA 2019, the company introduced the compact flagship Xperia 5. In practice, this is a compact copy of Xperia 1. But unlike the prototype, Xperia 5 uses a 6.1-inch OLED display with 2520 x 1644 Full HD+ resolution, and its pixel density reaches only 449 ppi vs 644 ppi in Xperia 1. In addition, its battery capacity decreased to 3140 mAh vs 3300 mAh in Xperia 1. In Barcelona at MWC 2019, Sony also introduced the mid-budget Xperia 10 and Sony Xperia 10 Plus. Both models use a CinemaWide screen, run on Android 9 Pie, have a microSD slot, USB 3.1 Type-C and NFC. The list of main differences includes: Xperia 10 vs Xperia 10 Plus Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 vs Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 6" IPS Full HD+ (457 ppi) vs 6,5" IPS Full HD+(422 ppi) RAM 3GB vs RAM 4GB 13MP, f/2.0, 27 мм, 1/3", 1.12µm vs 12MP, f/1,8, 27 мм, 1/2,8" 5MP, f/2.4, 22 мм, 1/4", 1.4µm vs 8MP, f/2.4, 53 мм, 1/4" 2870 mAh vs 3000 mAh Accordingly, Xperia 10 is cheaper by about 15-20%. It mainly competes with the Samsung Galaxy A50, Huawei P30 Lite and Xiaomi Pocophone F1. The price and specs of the Xperia 10 Plus compete with the Samsung Galaxy A70, Honor 10 and Xiaomi Mi 8. But in both cases, the CinemaWide screen will be a serious argument for fans of watching movies on a smartphone.
Sony Xperia L3
Sony Xperia L3 also belongs to the mid-budget segment. The model has a 5.7-inch IPS CinemaWide screen with a 1440 x 720 resolution (282 ppi), uses the 8-core 12nm Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (4 x Cortex-A53, 2GHz + 4 x Cortex-A53 1.5 GHz), RAM 3GB, dual camera system (13MP, f/2.2, 26 mm, PDAF + 2MP), an 8MP front camera with f/2.0, and a 3300 mAh battery. The list of its main competitors includes Samsung Galaxy A30, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Honor 10 Lite.
Conclusion
Of course, the 21: 9 aspect ratio in the CinemaWide format was for many experts an unexpected surprise in 2019. If this idea is successful, it can quickly spread among other market participants. In this case, CinemaWide smartphones will complement the list of camera phones and gaming models. If the ergonomics of the new form factor are unsuccessful, then these five models will please fans of widescreen content. In any case, Sony once again reaffirmed its commitment to innovative experiments. Moreover, Sony plans another bold experiment by announcing a model with 8 cameras, including 20-MP f/2.4, 48-MP f/1.2 and f/2, 16-MP f/2.4, 8-MP f/2.4, 12-MP f/1.2 and f/2.4, and 0.5-MP ToF lenses on the rear panel. In addition, it has front 10-MP and 0.3-MP ToF cameras providing Portrait Mode. This video offers a comparison of Sony Xperia 1 vs Huawei P30 Pro. Read the full article

Vivo is definitely a midrange machine in this period. Right after launching the Y95 in the Philippines, it announced the new Vivo Z1 Lite which is a sort of cheaper variant of the V9 for the Chinese market. Here, we will compare it with Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and Huawei Honor 8C, two devices that represent excellent choices in the same price range under 200 bucks.
Vivo Z1 Lite vs Honor 8C vs Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro
Vivo Z1 Lite Huawei Honor 8C Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT 154.81 x 75 x 7.9 mm 157.2 x 76 mm, 167 grams  149.3 x 71.7 x 8.8 mm, 178 grams DISPLAY 6.26 inches, 1080 x 2280p (HD+), 268 ppi, 19:9 ratio, IPS LCD 6.26 inches, 720 x 1520p (HD+), 269 ppi, 19:9 ratio, IPS LCD  5.84 inches, 1080 x 2280 pixels, 432 ppi, 19:9 ratio, IPS LCD PROCESSOR Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, octa-core 1.8 GHz  Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, octa-core 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, octa-core 2 GHz MEMORY 4 GB RAM, 32 GB – micro SD slot 4 GB RAM, 32 GB – 4 GB RAM, 64 GB – micro SD dedicated slot  3 GB RAM, 32 GB – 4 GB RAM, 64 GB, micro SD dedicated slot SOFTWARE Android 8.1 Oreo, Funtouch OS Android 8.1 Oreo, EMUI  Android 8.1 Oreo, MIUI CONNECTIVITY Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS  Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS CAMERA Dual 16 + 2 MP f/2.0 and f/2.4 16 MP f/2.0 front camera Dual 13 + 2 MP f/1.8 and f/2.4 8 MP f/2.0 front camera Dual 12 + 5 MP f/2.2 and f/2.2 5 MP f/2.0 front camera BATTERY 3260 mAh 4000 mAh, Charging 5V / 2A 10W  4000 mAh, Charging 5V / 2A 10W ADDITIONAL FEATURES Hybrid Dual SIM slot Dual SIM slot  Dual SIM slot
Design Vivo Z1 Lite beats almost the whole concurrency with its wonderful design. It has a display with very narrow bezels and a minimal notch, as well as a reflective glass back which is also available in a very elegant gradient hue (Aurora Blue). And in the second place goes to Honor 8C, while Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is definitely less beautiful with its full metal unibody design. Display Honor 8C loses the display comparison as its resolution is only HD, while Vivo Z1 Lite wins again for having a Full HD+ resolution, a larger diagonal, and narrower bezels. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a smaller panel which is more suitable for one-handed use. And it features a Full HD+ resolution as well. Specs & Software Huawei Honor 8C has the most powerful and recent SoC, so it should be the best one in terms of performance and efficiency, especially if we consider that it has to manage a display with a lower resolution. We are talking about the new Snapdragon 632 chipset which is a toned-down version of the Snapdragon 636 found on devices like Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. However, also note that Vivo Z1 Lite comes with a max 32 GB of internal storage, while Huawei Honor 8C and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro have 64 GB variants. All of these devices have a customized Android version: Funtouch OS for the Z1, EMUI for Honor 8C and MIUI for Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. But the latter has an international version called Mi A2 Lite with Android One. Camera The most convincing rear camera is the dual setup of the Honor 8C thanks to a brighter aperture which should allow capturing more light. On the other hand, Vivo Z1 Lite is a more interesting smartphone for selfies thanks to its 16 MP front camera which also supports important AI-based features. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a below-average dual camera which is just sufficient for the price range, and its front camera did not convince us as well. Battery The battery is the strongest point of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. It features a huge 4000 mAh unit paired with one of the most efficient chipsets in the market: the Snapdragon 625. This battery allows achieving a very long battery life: it can last up to two days on a single charge even with a stressed use. But Huawei Honor 8C has a 4000 mAh as well, and it also features a display with a low resolution besides a very efficient SoC. So it can last a bit more in most of the scenarios. Vivo Z1 Lite has a way smaller battery which does not allow it to take part in this fight. Price Vivo Z1 Lite just debuted in China with a price tag of €140/$160, Huawei Honor 8C is sold at about €170/$191 and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro ranges from €160/$180 to €200/$225 depending on the channel. Even though it has a worse display, I think Honor 8C is currently the phone with the best value for money due to its good camera department, balanced specs, and very long battery life. But there are very marginal differences between these devices, so, whichever you choose, you will make a good choice. Best phones under 20,000 (INR) for India While there used to be a very clear divide between mid-range smartphones and high-end flagships, the lines have increasingly blurred over the past few years. Nowadays, phones offer similar metal constructions, high-resolution displays, solid cameras, and as much RAM and built-in storage as their flagship counterparts, but at less than half the price. Best Micromax smartphones The Best Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 cases Granted, these phones may not be as powerful and feature packed, but given the price point, they certainly don’t fail to impress. Here is a roundup of some of the best smartphones available in India priced at under 20,000 Rs! Editor’s note: This list includes phones that essentially fall in the price range between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000. There will be separate lists to showcase devices priced below Rs 30,000 and below Rs 10,000 as well. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro Xiaomi’s latest smartphones have proven to be extremely popular in India — the Pro model sold out in a few seconds during its first sale. They are the successors to the Redmi Note 4, which was the most sold handset in India in 2017. Starting with the Redmi Note 5, the smartphone sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset and has 4 GB of RAM. A version with 3 GB of RAM is also available but retails for less than Rs 10,000, so it didn’t make this list. The mid-ranger also comes with a single camera on the back, a 5 MP selfie snapper, and a large 4,000 mAh battery. It ships with the older Android Nougat on board but should be upgraded to Oreo somewhere down the line. Compared to the Redmi Note 5, the Pro model offers a newer Snapdragon 636 chipset that’s backed by either 4 or 6 GB of RAM. It’s equipped with a dual-camera setup featuring 12 and 5 MP sensors for capturing those popular bokeh images. The handset also features a selfie snapper with a higher resolution at 20 MP. All other specs including the display, battery, and OS are the same as those of the Redmi Note 5. The Redmi Note 5 retails for Rs 11,999, while the Pro model can be yours for Rs 13,999 (4 GB/64 GB) or Rs 16,999 (6 GB/64 GB). Specs Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 2160 x 1080 resolution 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor Adreno 506 GPU 4 GB of RAM 64 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 256 GB 12 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera with LED flash Dual SIM (dual standby) 4,000 mAh battery Android 7.1.2 Nougat 158.5 x 75.45 x 8.05 mm, 180 grams Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 2160 x 1080 resolution 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor Adreno 509 GPU 4/6 GB of RAM 64 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 256 GB 12 and 5 MP rear cameras, 20 MP front-facing camera with LED flash Dual SIM (dual standby) 4,000 mAh battery Android 7.1.2 Nougat 158.6 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm, 181 grams Read more Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro officially announced Redmi Note 5 review Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/5 Pro vs Honor 9 Lite: specs showdown Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Pro vs Redmi Note 4: Specs showdown Buy from Xiaomi (Redmi Note 5) Buy from Xiaomi (Redmi Note 5 Pro) Honor 7X The Honor 7X offers a great price-performance ratio. The mid-range smartphone features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display, which means it has an aspect ratio of 18:9. You’ll find the Kirin 659 chipset and 4 GB of RAM under the hood along with 32 or 64 GB of storage. The device has a gorgeous metal body and sports thin bezels around the display. It’s equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back, allowing you to add the bokeh effect to images. There’s a fingerprint scanner on the back, but you can also unlock the device via facial recognition — although the scanner is a more secure option. The dual-SIM handset packs a 3,340 mAh battery and is IP67 rated for protection against water and dust. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat with the EMUI skin on top and comes in black, blue, or gold. You can get it on Amazon for Rs 12,999 (32 GB) or Rs 15,999 (64 GB). Specs 5.93-inch IPS LCD display with 2160 x 1080 resolution 2.36 GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor Mali-T830 MP2 4 GB of RAM 32/64 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 256 GB 16 and 2 MP rear cameras, 8 MP front-facing camera Dual SIM (dual standby) 3,340 mAh battery Android 7.0 Nougat 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm, 165 grams Read more Honor 7X review Honor 7X with 18:9 display, dual-camera setup, and thin bezels makes its debut Honor 7X becomes #1 bestseller in Amazon unlocked phones category New Honor 7X OTA update adds Face Unlock and more Buy on Amazon Nokia 6 This is the new version of the handset with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which launched in India this month (February). The original Nokia 6 that went on sale in August 2017 had 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Aside from the RAM and storage, the two variants of the smartphone are identical in terms of specs. The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and rather thick bezels, which make it look dated compared to a few other devices on this list. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chipset and features a 16 MP rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. The selfie snapper features an 8 MP sensor. Other specs and features include a 3,000 mAh battery, Android Nougat, and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is listed at Rs 16,999 on Flipkart. Specs 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor Adreno 505 4 GB of RAM 64 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 128 GB 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front-facing camera Dual SIM (dual standby) 3,000 mAh battery Android 7.1.1 Nougat 154 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm, 169 grams Read more Nokia 6 review Nokia 6 with 4 GB RAM will go on sale in India next week Buy from Flipkart Infinix Zero 5 Pro The Infinix Zero 5 Pro is a great smartphone, even though it isn’t as known as similar devices from Samsung, Sony, and other large manufacturers. The handset impresses with a large 5.98-inch Full HD display as well as a 12 and 13 MP dual-camera setup on the back offering 2x optical zoom. It also packs a massive 4,350 mAh battery and comes with 6 GB of RAM. The metal device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset and offer 128 GB of storage, which should be more than enough for most users. But in case you need more, you can expand it via a microSD card for an additional 128 GB. The smartphone also sports a fingerprint scanner on the back, has dual-SIM support, and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It’s the most expensive model on this list with its price tag of Rs 19,999. Specs 5.98-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution 2.6 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757 processor Mali-T880 MP2 6 GB of RAM 128 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 128 GB 12 and 13 MP rear cameras, 16 MP front-facing camera Dual SIM (dual standby) 4,350 mAh battery Android 7.0 Nougat 166.3 x 82.3 x 7.9 mm, 197 grams Buy from Flipkart Oppo F5 This is a great smartphone for all you selfie lovers out there. It identifies shapes and facial structures based on a global database and was developed in consultation with professional photographers and make-up artists during the R&D process. The F5 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back but can also be unlocked with facial recognition. It’s Oppo’s first smartphone with a full-screen 18:9 display, which comes in at 6 inches and offers Full HD+ resolution. Other specs and features include the MediaTek MT6763T chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and a 16 MP primary camera. The device packs a 3,200 mAh battery and runs Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 on top. Oppo’s F5 smartphone comes in black or gold and can be yours for Rs 19,990 — get it from Flipkart via the button below. Specs 6-inch LTPS TFT display with 2160 x 1080 resolution 2.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6763T processor Mali G71 MP2 4 GB of RAM 32 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 256 GB 16 MP rear camera, 20 MP front-facing camera Dual SIM (dual standby) 3,200 mAh battery Android 7.1 Nougat 156.5 x 76 x 7.5 mm, 152 grams Read more OPPO launches F5 in India with AI tech for better selfies Buy from Flipkart Moto G5s Plus Lenovo and Motorola can be credited with revolutionizing the budget-friendly smartphone space with their Moto G series, and it’s no surprise that these phones have proven to be their biggest sellers. Things have only gotten better year after year, but this time, Motorola didn’t wait as long to release the latest edition. While the 5th generation of the phone was released only earlier in 2017, it has already been upended by its own “S” iteration with the Moto G5s Plus. The Moto G5s Plus brings significant improvements over the Moto G5 Plus across the board, including a full metal construction as opposed to the composite build of the latter, and a display that has been bumped up to 5.5-inches from 5.2-inches. While the processing package, RAM, and battery stay the same, the internal storage has been doubled to 64 GB. However, the big change here is in the camera setup, with the Moto G5s Plus featuring dual 13 MP + 13 MP rear cameras, that looks similar to what is available Motorola’s high-end offerings. The front camera has also seen a bump up to 8 MP from 5 MP and packs in a front-facing flash as well. Available in blush gold and lunar grey, the Moto G5s Plus is currently priced at Rs 13,999, making it well deserving of a spot on our best phones under 20,000 list. Specs 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor Adreno 506 GPU 4 GB of RAM 64 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD up to 256 GB 13 MP + 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera with front flash Dual SIM (dual standby) 3,000 mAh battery Android 7.1.1 Nougat 153.5 x 76.2 x 8 mm, 168 grams Read more Moto G5S Plus review: this is a budget phone? Motorola reveals the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus Buy on Amazon Samsung Galaxy On Max/Galaxy J7 Max The Samsung Galaxy On Max is a phone that is exclusive to India but is essentially a re-branded Galaxy J7 Max, with the latter also being available in the country. The only real difference between the two is that the Galaxy J7 Max comes with Samsung’s Smart Glow Ring that is placed around the rear camera. The LED ring glows different colors based on your settings, and can be used to let you know about priority notifications and low battery status, and can also help you take the perfect selfie or tell you when a person who you’ve handed your phone to navigates away from the page that was being shown to them. It is an interesting feature, but if it doesn’t pique your interest, the Samsung Galaxy On Max comes without the Smart Glow ring and is priced Rs 1,000 cheaper. Everything else remains the same between the two, including the 5.7-inch Full HD display, impressive rear shooter with a f/1.7 aperture to allow for good photos in low light conditions, and support for Samsung Pay Mini. The Samsung Galaxy One Max and Galaxy J7 Max are priced at Rs 15,900 and Rs 16,900 respectively. Specs 5.7-inch PLS LCD display with a Full HD resolution 2.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor Mali-T880MP2 GPU 4 GB of RAM 32 GB of built-in storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 256 GB 13 MP rear camera (f/1.7 aperture), 13 MP front-facing camera (f/1.9 aperture) Dual SIM (dual standby) 3,300 mAh battery Android 7.0 Nougat 156.7 x 78.8 x 8.1 mm, 179 grams Buy from Flipkart (Samsung Galaxy On Max) Buy from Flipkart (Samsung Galaxy J7 Max) Xiaomi Mi Max 2 As was the case with its predecessor, if you are looking for a smartphone with a huge display an affordable price tag, it doesn’t get any better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The device retains the 6.44-inch display size and the beautiful metal construction from the previous iteration, but comes with a new processing package, different camera setup, and larger battery. The phone offers decent performance and good features, but the standout here is the battery life, with the device comfortably lasting for two days even with quite heavy usage. Xiaomi claims that the device offers up to 11 hours of nonstop gameplay, and that is a claim that is not overstated. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro vs Mi A1 vs Nokia 6 vs Honor 9 Lite: Price in India, Specifications, Features Comparison
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will go on sale in India on Thursday, February 22 alongside the Redmi Note 5 and Mi TV 4. With the new Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi is aiming for the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment, offering features such as a large, bezel-less display and dual rear camera setup on the back, along with a big battery. While the Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant, it will be the 6GB RAM model that may be a more enticing option for the Indian consumer as there are not many smartphones with as much RAM under Rs. 18,000 in the market at present. Nonetheless, both variant will find enough space in the affordable segment to make their mark.
We can safely say Xiaomi has launched what looks like a solid package on paper to take on other contenders under the same price bracket, including the Honor 9 Lite 4GB RAM variant. The base variant of the new Redmi Note handset has also apparently influenced other smartphone companies to bring new 4GB RAM models to survive in the market. HMD Global is the first such company, launching the Nokia 6 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant in the Indian market to compete against the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Moreover, it is interesting to see that the new Xiaomi phone is making the competition tougher for the Mi A1, which is an existing hot-selling model by the Chinese brand, launched last year in collaboration with Google as a new Android One handset.
We take a look at the Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India, specifications, and features and compare them with those of the Mi A1, Nokia 6, Honor 9 Lite to help you decide the best option for you.

After some time, they will also be available for purchase through Xiaomi’s offline retail partners in the country. Further, colour options for the Redmi Note 5 Pro include Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold colours.
