This is my blog where I review eggs. I review my own eggs by taste and others eggs by a combination of how I think they would taste and how they look.

Egg sandwich I made recently. I learned recently that you need to have a lot of eggs for breakfast to get the amount of protein you need (if you're just eating eggs) so I have been trying to make my sandwiches with two eggs instead of one as I usually do. This is saddening because the single egg tends to form the perfect shape for both english muffins and regular bread slices, but I strive to fuel myself properly and am willing to sacrifice that to do so. I am aware that there are circular egg molds on the market but I believe them to take up too much space in a drawer for my liking. Well anyway I made this egg sandwich with garlic powder and Trader Joes Citrusy Garlic Seasoning and also some butter. And here is my rating.
Egg sandwich
Type of egg: Brown
Cooking method: Pan
Bread type: Multigrain English Muffin
Rating: 3/5, it was an average sandwich

im trying to get myself to like eggs and this blog has been helpful. i have arfid and eggs would really benefit my health. thank you
Wow... I'm so glad my love of eggs has helped you :) I forget about this blog a lot but I do still eat a lot of eggs... I'll try and post some more of my egg meals! Here's one from a bit ago... I've been really into buttered bread with salt recently as you can tell by the half eaten slice there. This has pickle seasoning from trader joes and a tomato on it as well... this may seem to be an odd combination but don't knock it until you try it as they say. The seasoning at trader joes always knocks it out of the park. Here's my review:
Type of egg: Brown
Method: Sandwich
Rating: 4/5 because I was really thinking about that buttered bread... would eat it every meal if I could

I apologize for the accidental reblogs. That was not my intention. As an apology I present my salmon bowl from today. I cooked up a salmon and have been eating it every day but today was the first day I had it with an egg. I marinated this egg and soft boiled it, I was really scared it would come out too hard but it was actually pretty nice. The marinade was good too. I used rice that I froze a while ago and I am happy to day it came out just as nice as the day it was made. I also put salt over that. Anyway here is my review:
Kind of egg: Brown
Method: Stove
Rating: 4/5

Finally tested out my Daiso ajitama maker! It can make two ramen eggs in only 50 ml of liquid! Usually I figure about 175 ml for two eggs, so this is an improvement. For just one egg (if, for example, you ate the first one as fast as you could peel it, while standing next to the stove), you need about 6 tbsp/88 ml of marinade.
For the eggs, I placed 2 large eggs in a small saucepan full of cold water, brought it to a boil, switched off the heat, and let them sit covered for 5 1/2 minutes before transferring them to an ice bath. This was just about the perfect texture; I maaaaybe could've gone a little shorter but the risk didn't feel worth it.
For the marinade, I tried Just One Cookbook's version. It's very simple: mix 2 tbsp each of sake, soy sauce, and mirin, plus a large pinch of sugar, then heat it briefly on the stovetop to melt the sugar, and pour over the peeled eggs. Marinate a few hours to overnight. (This egg sat close to 24 hours, AND oops I cracked the white, but it was fine.) They also recommend adding vinegar and salt to the water for ease of peeling—I'll try that next time!
I had the egg for breakfast with somen noodles, shredded cabbage, and a bit of the marinade. It was much sweeter than my usual marinade, but had a great flavor. I'd absolutely make it again, with less sugar. Ooh, I also have to test this thing on miso eggs!

The thing they don't tell you about fried egg runny yolk is that if you put it in a sandwich it will be the best most delicious thing and you can mop up the egg with the bread, but in exchange you Will get so so messy and covered in egg yolk

I got these eggs in a rice bowl at a restaurant I went to. The bowl consisted of rice, of course, as well as baby bok choy, curry fish balls, pork gyoza, and green onions. In addition to that, there were two marinated eggs which were cooked to absolute perfection. Now I love eggs so when the menu said that the bowl came with one half of an egg, I immediately ordered an extra two for me to enjoy thinking that those two would also be halves and subsequently add up to one and a half total eggs. Well, I was mistaken, and ended up actually getting two and a half eggs as the ones I ordered came whole. It was such a delight to discover this as the second egg was sort of buried underneath the rice and other toppings. Anyway this was a supremely delicious meal and one that I will definitely be recreating at home. The only unenjoyable aspect of my meal was my own fault-- I had forgotten to eat breakfast that morning, and had also eaten lunch rather quickly as I had a train to catch. Doing so made my stomach hurt quite a lot, and I was as a result unable to fully finish my meal since I was still in a decent amount of pain at dinner. This was a shame, but had nothing to do with the food itself.
Anyway here is my rating:
Presentation: 3/5
Taste: 5/5
Overall: 4/5 as I could have used a bigger bowl to mix my rice and toppings around more easily.

Woah.... didn't see this in my mentions until just now... This looks splendid and I will be trying it out posthaste!
@eggreviewer
Ayy you rated my ramen noodles with a grated hard boiled egg 3/5 so I'm back for moar!
Here we have 2 egg patties near perfectly formed. Black pepper ⚫ and cayenne 🔴 with a splash of water, scrambled in a small cup. Poured into a silicone egg ring in a 🧈 buttered pan 🍳. Move the curds around 🧑‍🍳 until they leave a trail like parting the red sea, then salt em (salt eggs in the pan not before).

🌶️ Jalapeno cream cheese 🥯 on a toasted bun, mustard 〽️ on the bacon 🥓 side. Yeah, should have taken more shots on the egg cooking process not just the finished results I will remember next time.

This is an omlette I cooked this morning. I don't actually know how to make those fancy rolled omelettes and I also don't really like gooey eggs so they didn't turn out perfectly. Anyway I made it from a recipe that was from The Bear so I used fancy cheese and sour cream and onion chips. Didn't use chives though because I don't have those.
Materials used: Brown eggs and the other stuff I already said
I'm going to rate it a 4/5 because it was good.

This is a Croque Madame that I had a week or so ago. It was so delicious and honestly the only thing bad is that the bread was overcooked. But I made another little one the next day with the leftover sauce and it was so delicious I wished I could eat it every day.
Method: Oven
Egg type: White
Rating: 5/5

New experiment with ramen: grate a hardboiled egg into it. Bigger chunks of egg came off and fell into the broth. That's fine, variety is the spice of life. Mixed it up, this picture is just for presentation, little egg bits floated in with the chopped celery. Mama ramen is my favourite brand RN, but my mom actually hates it, says it stinks. 60% of your daily recommended sodium, so obviously it's highly addictive and I can't go back to the 24% d.v. salty ramen. I'll definitely try this again, new technique unlocked.

A little bits of this and that plus a fried egg and I have made myself a Gua Bao (刈包) or lotus leaf bun sandwich. The char siu are leftovers which mum reheated and the prawn rolls are from this morning trip to the economy rice stall.

Haven't posted in a bit... this egg came to me in the form of a bagel sandwich. Now the bagel itself is a bit tricky because it had been frozen and reheated which made the bagel quite difficult to chew. However this is not a bagel blog it's an egg blog and this egg in particular was quite delicious. Well as you can see I cooked two eggs and they were so good, normally I like my fried eggs less runny but given the bagel I thought it would be appropriate to keep it runny so the bread could soak that all up.

Marinated eggs I made. I forgot to add water so that's why they look so dark. I think it was fun, a bit like eating evil eggs. However these eggs were anything but evil, unless you would consider being delicious an act of cruelty. The only thing cruel was that I did not have more eggs.
Method: Rice cooker
Taste: Awesome, but the soy sauce made it very salty
Rating: 3/5
