Also it makes the whole Mrs. Davis thing both more funny and more tragic.

Ok, question:

If Agatha made the road up to drain witches, then there is no actual road.

Which would mean it only opened because Billy changed reality to make it appear.

That's how I first understood it.

Now I saw discussion of Billy being the fith coven member, which ok, would imply that indeed a working ritual existed.

If Billy opened the road and formed it to look like it did, are a coven and a ritual needed or not?

And if the ritual actually works, why didn't it when Agatha was just using it as a ruse?

Can anyone sort that out for me?
