#I did pet a (european) bison once#a wisent#we have an enclosure near by#usually there's no way to get up close#but one of the drinking stations is near a fence#tripple one#wood and wire#when a huge bull took a drink I reached through the fence and carefully placed my hand on his snout#he huffed and I withdrew#I almost pissed myself#very humbling experience
