I know this is mostly meant for laughs but Bdubs & Etho genuinely love each other and have said so multiple times. I shouldn’t have to say this but I will: I mean platonic love between brothers.

Etho’s confidence dials up to an 11 during Friday Night Stabby. He’s so much more willing to be a jerk, act super weird/drunk, eat on a hot mic (EvilNotion called him out for eating carrots last time and he was also eating chocolate pie and made it part of his alibi.)

No wonder they had to limit the game night to once every 3-4 weeks. We don’t deserve that much raw Etho. But what we do deserve is Etho/Pearl collabs D:<

Nothing on HC 8 or 9 so far and neither of them stream stabby stabby so we don’t get to see their effortlessly efficient imposter duo shenanigans nor hear they talk about. I remember Tango finding them out because he overheard them whispering to each other. Who was it who said they weren’t allowed to team up? Skizz or Joker or Endless I think. Too powerful.

The moral of this is Hell hath no fury like a Scarlet Pearl scorned. Scott chose his bed and lied in it by refusing Pearl as his partner. He didn’t win. He chose poorly and lost it. He doesn’t get to ride her coattails.

Pearl won Double Life all by her own goddamned self. The moral is: believe in yourself because you’re all you have.

I find this the happiest ending. Everyone calling Pearl crazy, although yes, it’s funny, rubbed me the wrong way. But since Pearl chose to embrace it, she took her agency back and she used it. Oh boy, did she use it. And I loved every moment of it.

5 AM Pearl will live on forever, she’s just in hibernation now…

everyones talking about how cool it is that the duo who defied expectations won but like. i don’t know. it just makes me sad. is the moral of this really that we’re stronger apart?

pearl was able to solo kill two duos only because scott wasn’t there taking damage with her. in the series about partners, she could only win by being alone. is that really a happy ending?

Beef is in Eastern Canada. Pause has lived in all 3 of the most western provinces (these include Etho’s province so I won’t specify but it’s obvious to those who are from here).

Sarioh is right, people think it’s a regional thing for any word Etho pronounces oddly but it’s not a regional thing nor provincial thing nor municipal thing. It’s an Etho thing lol

My theory is that he spent most of his free time on the computer gaming/programming and also working at his parents’ greenhouse business from a young age. It’s also possible one or both of his parents had an accent or got some pronunciations slightly off and he learned that way.

On Etho saying the word oh-pinion: as a Canadian it is also smth I’ve never heard before, granted I’m from the east coast and just based on his voice I think Etho is from mid to west Canada so regional difference there?? But also pause and beef don’t say it like that so it might be one of those Etho Specials when it comes to pronounciation

i feel like he gets away with so much more than he should because he's canadian. if he mispronounces something most of us non-canadians just assume, Oh that must be some regional thing or something. but no 9 times out of 10 it's just some pronunciation he straight up Made Up in his special little brain i guess
