Slave owner/lawyer, Francis Scott Key, the man that wrote the lyrics to the “Star Spangled Banner,” aka the “National Anthem”,“ once said that Africans in America were: “a distinct and inferior race of people, which all experience proves to be the greatest evil that afflicts a community.”

Key didn’t just individually own African people, treating them as a subhuman species, deserving of hellish positions as slaves, Keys abused his power as a lawyer, and, “used his office as the District Attorney for the City of Washington from 1833 to 1840 to defend slavery, attacking the abolitionist movement in several high-profile cases.”

So you tell me, why in the hell should I stand up for the “National Anthem?”
