full transparency… i had to break my fast cuz i was shaking and could barely stand up.
i had a protein drink (160 cal and 30g protein) and now i’m eating tuna (190 cal 42g protein).
i’m going to the gym after work anyways so it’s probably best that i’m eating now so that i don’t pass out
started a fast at noon:))
i’m aiming for 48 hours, so ending friday at noon!

my BF is taking me to the movies tonight! the only problem is that i don't know how to get around not eating snacks or popcorn. i'll probably get a drink and get water, or some type of zero cal drink. does anyone have any ideas for excuses to not eat, or at least ways to make it seem like i'm eating?

very hungry: could eat anything, might binge
mildly hungry: strong signs of hunger, a little dizzy
hungry: 1st signs, stomach growling
neutral: emtpy not hungry or full, content
comfortably satisfied: hunger has been satisfied
very satisfied: hunger has been satisfied a little too well, full
beyond satisfied: starting to feel sick but manageable
uncomfortably over stuffed: feelings of guilt, heavy feeling, a bit nauseous, food coma
extremely stuffed: could throw up, bloated, feels heavy, sluggish, can't look at food

This is the hunger scale, knowing this can hep you read your body. I personally try to stay 3-6. This helps keep me with my from b1ng1ng/ overe4ting.
keepingn track of your feelings and emotions before and after you e4t is also helpful, so you can find patterns in your eating behaviors like:
(before) am i actually hungry?
(before) what is my hunger scale?
(before) am i sad?
(before) am i stressed?
(before) am i happy?
(before) am i angry?
(after) how much did i eat?
(after) what is my hunger scale now?
(after) how do i feell now?

i work with elementary age kids, and whenever i hear them calling someone fat or talking about how they called someone fat, or just talks about someone else’s body in general, i step in right away and correct them.
i don’t want these kids to develop an ED. i wish someone stepped in when i was kid when someone commented on my body. this stuff starts soooo young, and kids keep getting meaner and meaner.
so, to state as what’s in my intro, if you are under 18, DO NOT COME ONTO MY PAGE!!! get out of this community and get help!!! there are so many consequences of have an ED, and it’s sooo important for growing bodies to get all the nutrients you need!!

things to put money towards instead of food
The average money spent for one person per week is ~$73-$113
let's use the lower end $73
every week, when you buy groceries stay under this number. The amount difference you have put, it into a savings account!!
then once you have enough, you can buy things for yourself instead of spending it all on food.
(NOTE: do make sure to buy food, just make sure it is high in protein and healthy so that you can still get essential nutrients.)
some things that can be bought instead:
apple watch/ FitBit (keep track of calories burnt)
new workout outfits (great for motivation to go to the gym)
new clothes (not as many groceries= not eating as much= calorie deficit= losing weight= loose fitting clothes)
nails/ hair/ spa day (self-care is very important to feeling confident)
vitamins (for the nutrients that are missing from food not being eaten)
vacation (R&R is amazing)
Honestly, the options are endless, anything you want or need, save your money for that instead of putting it towards so much food.

take vitamins one at a time (I have a lot)
