ok, so... funny update on my quitting my job? i handed in my resignation last friday and this week both my manager and VP called me asking me to reconsider and offered a lot... a lot of money. sorry to say i kinda sold out 🙈 ok, not quite but i did the basic math and what it came down to is that between this and the promised career move early next year i might be able to retire sooner than expected and that adds a spring to my elderly step ngl 😅 so long story short i'm staying on.
#short story long i will be travelling to guadalajara in june#it's for work but if i plan the connecting flights nicely#it might give me one day to see tequila and have some fun#i need sunshine mariachi and ranchera in my life ok???#also having been to moms bday party and “reconnecting”#with family had some unintended consequences#not sure how i'm going to deal with that yet#gonna have to think about how much i want to help someone#and how much i'm willing to let their toxicity albeit unintended#pull me down it's a tough choice but we will see 🙈
