i looove your etho cosplay! quick question--since you mentioned making the vest and pants, did you also make the shirt yourself? i love the cutout design, and if you have a pattern (or even just vague guidelines lol) i would love to try it myself!

Thank you! I did make the shirt to 🤗 but I am sorry I don't have any patterns for download but I will draw you what I did and over explain it for you!!

This is the shape I cut out it's just one peice a sleeve but your going to need to measure it to fit you yourself. What it did was I put my measuring tape around the top of my arm to figure out how big I wanted the opening and then I put it down my arm and measured how big/wide I wanted the bell shape to be. I just connect the two measurements with a straight line. The peice is going to be surprisingly wide. Wider the you will expect because it will fold over on itself so the sleeve will only have one seam. The edge in the middle is finished with a stitched on peice of red bais tape. I the use that bottom edge to make a elastic channel so it can scrunch up and stay where it is on my forearm. I attached the double sleeve to the turtleneck just using the ladder stich!

It's a weird patter and I'm not always the best with explaining ny patterns, I hope this helps though and you can create some silly poofy sleeves for yourself!

This costume was shockingly a easy project wich i was pleasantly surprised by, the vest was my first time patterning something myself that wasn't like a cloak or any sort of draping and the pants were my first time making pants EVER, and I'm incredibly happy with how they turned out! Ironically I think I might reuse the pattern to make some pants for a kakashi cosplay. I also had a great time designing this cosplay my favorite part is the shirt under the vest I just LOVE the double sleeve with the cutouts, and looking at the red pop makes me feel good.

What constitutes a complex design: Characters with wings, a large amount of stripes/spots, mechanical parts, antlers. Anything that I anticipate will at 2-5 hrs to the total work time on the piece, after shading and effects. Some magical elements / SFX would also constitute a complex design.

If you have commissioned me in the past, you may notice my prices have changed a bit since last time they were offered! The price increase is because of a mix of things, namely my skill increase [I've gotten much better than 4 years ago when I last offered these!] as well as my general cost of living.

DAY 11: Etho & Bdubs my beloved's with @/icklecosplay

There friendship is everything to me. I got together my Etho cosplay in about 5hrs as I was on a work trip for 3weeks in China. Ickle embroidered my Etho patches and I styled that damn wig in like 2hrs. It was chaos and I was soooo tired but I it was worth it <3
