HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESS ESPOSITO.

April 10th marks the birth of the first Esposito, first Gifted and Cursed child—Tess Esposito.

Suffering heavily from Eldest Daughter Syndrome, Tess became a fighter in a household of two parents whose bitterness for having “demonic” children manifests into violence lashed out onto those very kids. Tess becomes the protector from that violence. Getting on the way of painful punishments, sacrificing herself in the place that her younger siblings otherwise might have been in, sparking arguments and retaliating against them while the second oldest Esposito, Beverly, would tend to the younger kids.

This attitude only spiked when the Espositos finally ran away. She became a soldier, she became a fighter, she became a killer—all for her siblings. And she’d more than willingly sacrifice herself over and over again until that final breath if it means protecting them. They are all she has, after all.

But is there a point when one can overdo it?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILY ESPOSITO

April 1st, widely known as April Fools Day, the beginning to the middle month of Spring (in the northern hemisphere that is), and the month that’s exactly six months away from October, marks the birthday of my little princess of death, Lily Esposito.

Second youngest Esposito child, and youngest Esposito girl, Lily has the gift of controlling the dead and death with a curse that will kill her if she sleeps for too long. She is a meek and timid soul; hates loud and crowded areas, she is attached to her older sister, Beverly, and one meltdown caused by overstimulation later and her powers of death might just activate in the vicinity. And… it doesn’t take long to overstimulate her. She’s adorable and dangerous, and the danger of her is purely because she’s an easily scared child with a dangerous power that ignites with her fight or flight reflexes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELLIE DOMEYKO!!!

February 12th marks a very important day—the celebration of Mellie’s birthday.

Two of the final sorcerers in a group of people slowly but surely being wiped out by the very immortal beings they’re meant to worship, she becomes a hardened spirit focused on revenge after witnessing the death of her parents.

Magic she manipulates through elegant movements of ballet and constantly studying the ways of magic, Mellie takes great pride in being a sorcerer and the culture that comes with it. At the same time, being the youngest of the two final sorcerers—only other one being her aunt—leaves a pretty heavy burden on her shoulders, not to mention a sense of loneliness. She wants to live a peaceful life with friends, a permanent place to call home, not on the constant run, and dwelling over the mundane.

Instead, she’s forced into a life of wondering if she’ll even live until the next day.

Adversity built a fighter, a strategist, and a heart set on vengeance in someone too young.
