Last night was super fun. Thanks to all my babies and all my baby to be strangers that came down last night! Bigsound has been fun, and I am still regaining a stable sense of consciousness, so success?

It's been a bit quiet around here lately, but here's something exciting: BIGSOUND - and it's only one week away! As part of the event I'm playing a sneaky little side show at Reverends on the Thursday / Opening night! Which is the 8th! Come down to drink some nice things and listen to nice music. a little rough demo i recorded in my bedroom recently - better incases the direction the music has taken since producing 'powder blue' a few weeks back it's an incredibly honest infliction of my time travelling through america and my time with someone unforgettable, both short and too brief

a  teal  blue  glow  rises  beyond  the  curve  of  the  ocean  as ribbons  of  yellow  and  syrup  gold and  morning  curls  like  smoke  and  fills  the  sky alight  aluminous   the  sand  is  soggy  beneath  my  feet   the  grey  water  laps  against  my  toes   kissing  skin  they  curl  into  claws  from  the  cold deep  into  the  glittery  mustard  laps  of  grain   keeping  me  here

the  waves  come  in  with  heavy  throws   the  white  water  gushes  and  folds  me  whole  having  my  fill  of   your  salty  lips   no  longer there  is  a  grove  in  the  sand  where  you  should  be hollowed  and  filled  out  decorated  shadow  settling  on  the  place  that  you  left     i  am  wrong  and  i  might  have  wronged  but  what  did  i  do  so  wrong  to  you?   i  am  blinded  by  you   blindsided   left  like  a  package  in  the  rain  to  spoil  and  spin  in  my  longing  for  you did  i  not  bring  enough  love?   enough  electricity  in  my  veins  to  excite  you am  i  dull  or  uninteresting?   why  must  you  think  like  that?   what  a  wicked  thing  to  fall  out  of  love  with  someone   i  find  it  impossible   not  to  love  you.

   I  hadn’t  noticed  the  way  the  trees  on  the  street  had  grown  until  I  had seen,    the  grip  of  longing  fingers  blooming  like  flowers  as  spring  rising  like syrup  and  golden  honey,      decorated  the  horizon  in  dashes  of  golden  light.    You  glide  so  kind  across  the  asphalt,  dousing  me  with  the  glow  of  iris light  and  deep  green  porcelain  spheres  and  the  drum  of  your  feet  is  a  beat  in  my  mind  that  I  dance  too.    Devour  me  in  your  arms  as  you  do,  the  wool  of  your  woollen  coat smoky  like  suburbia  in  the  summer.  It  settles  across  my  skin,      a  layer  of  you,      that  I  wear  like  a  cloak  and  that  I  crave  for  like  hunger  and  thirst  and the  desire  to  be  worse  than  the  things  that  you  do  to  me,   or  the  things  that  you  have  done,
