Short trip to New Hampshire & Vermont where my wife, Linda, and I had the opportunity to view 2 historical buildings that I am Trustee of. We also visited the national historic landmark Mt. Washington Hotel at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, where in 1944 the United Nations held a conference establishing the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. It was attended by international delegates of 45 countries and important economists of the time including John Maynard Keynes.

What... a... week! 

Another reminder, lest we forget, that when #Houston floods it does it big time. After downing our server and other equipment at the office amid an electrical storm I had to pull up on an esplanade for about 5 hours until the “tide” went out around 6 AM. My thoughts go out to those who suffered losses of life & property in such a devastatingly short period.

On the positive side, our beautiful and stately Mother #Texas is now officially out of drought status. Here is a photo from the Houston night sky before our #monsoon. I caught our elusive half moon out during the day and night when the clouds weren’t covering it. Half moon in #May is a sure sign #summer is almost upon us.

Thank you to the May 2015 ‪#‎MoneyShow‬ ‪#‎LasVegas‬ for 3 days of excellent programming! My take away from the experts was that the equity markets are in a late stage bull market that will eventually bear downward but after first being preceded by an across the board drop in Leading Economic Indicators (‪#‎LEI‬). So whether we are ‪#‎business‬ owners, ‪#‎investors‬ or employed workers we all need to keep our eye on these.
