Palestinian Couple LESS THAN 1K AWAY From Goal!!!

Alaa and Bilal have been in contact with me since around April of this year. From the looks of it, tumblr deactivated their account on the 24th of August. This is not the first time something similar to this has happened to them; their first account was blocked from sending messages.

According to the latest messages I received from Alaa, they have still been living with no shelter and no safe place to settle since their home was destroyed by the IDF since at least April.

Tsunamic

Tsunamic - a xenogender/biogender related to tsunamis. This can be in relation to the chaos and destruction during the event or even the eerie peace and quiet before and after it occurs.

I purposely used duller colors because I wanted this to be accessible to those with light sensitivities as well. Unfortunately, it may be harder for those that need higher contrast.

Asian Intersex Flag

Asian Intersex Flag - I have made this flag considering all of Asia. I have used a red that is found in a majority of red including Asian flags, such as Cambodia, Malaysia, South Korea, and many others. It is also to represent both the femininity and masculinity found in the intersex spectrum. The yellow is from the original intersex flag and is to also be a gender neutral color to complement red. The orange is to bring the flag together and represents healing.

Now to talk about the taijitu and dragons! Instead of putting the taijitu in a poor stereotyped light, I wanted to show the true meaning of it: Harmony and Balance. I have added this in not as way to promote sinophobia but to instead add onto the original Intersex flag. I replaced the circle with the taijitu to keep the idea of wholeness and completeness while adding the concept of yin and yang, of opposites existing in complete harmony. The dragons are to both complement the taijitu and add more cultural elements into the flag.

This is an Intersex flag that is only to be used by Asian people. TransID and RCTA/ECTA people are not welcome to use this flag. "TransID and RCTA/ECTA" people are disrespectful towards the communities they try to pry into.

Flower Hat Jelly Gender

Flower hat jelly gender - when one may act or appear as one gender but is another. just like the jelly, they are to be more associated with being odd and embracing unattractive qualities of oneself.

I made this gender specifically because I wanted this gender centered around neurodivergence and how we may be perceived and stereotyped by others in society, especially when we may have a differing view on self expression. and so, this is a label for anyone, both binary and nonbinary identities can be added with this. while this was intended for neurodivergent people, neurotypical people can also use this identity as they see fit :)

Why a Flower Hat Jellyfish?

The flower hat jellyfish is not an actual jellyfish, which is where I got my inspiration to make this gender! While they look like jellyfish, they actually belong in the class Hydrozoa, and true jellyfish belong in class Scyphozoa. They are also often seen as "ugly" or "weird" by many while a few find beauty in them (thats me!!!). So, I purposely got colors directly from a flower hat jelly itself.

Day 1: Elasmobranchology

Elasmobranchology is the study of modern sharks, sawfish, skates, and rays, also known as the subclass Elasmobranchii and class Chondrichthyes.

These cartilaginous fish are characterized by having five to seven pairs of gill clefts opening individually to the exterior, rigid dorsal fins and small placoid scales on the skin. The teeth should be layered and their jaw is never fused with their cranium, though the difference between jaw anatomy vary between species. Elasmobranchs do not have swim bladders and instead rely on large livers rich in oil to maintain buoyancy. Some deep sea sharks are targeted for this liver oil, including the school, gulper and basking sharks. All three have been assessed and are now confirmed to be threatened with extinction due to overfishing.
