I had Tim O'Brien as a professor in college and have always admired his style and body of work, including his work for The Hunger Games. But it's his work under the Trump era that I find particularly impressive. There's something so striking when you combine the hyper-photorealistic style with political ideology. Also included his Beyoncé piece because it's just breathtaking.

Work in progress: Working on a sketch of Gina Rodriguez as #CarmenSandiego and I gotta say, this is probably my most challenging piece to date. I had a hard time getting Gina's face just right, went through many reference photos. Finally at a place where I'm happy, now onto the rest of the piece ...
