I am trying to get back into my natural state of being, the state of play and creativity, the joys of curiosity and the comfort within the unknown.
I think that one way of finding yourself in adulthood is regressing back to greet your interests from when you were a kid, unlearning all the bad habits you picked up along the way to survive the teenage years, and as for me — finally starting to listen to my intuition.

This letter as a reminder for the youth of the world, inspired by the ongoing student protest in my country against our corrupt government:
The future lies in your hands, and the power to shape it is yours to wield. Never forget that corruption thrives where knowledge is absent, and division reigns. To safeguard your countries from this fate, commit to being vigilant and proactive in fostering a just and enlightened society.
Invest in your education, for it is the strongest weapon against ignorance and manipulation. Seek out common knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, for these are the pillars of fairness and integrity. In times of discord, choose kindness—it is the bridge that unites us.
Let your generation stand as a beacon of hope, one that refuses to accept the darkness of corruption. Build a world where justice, transparency, and empathy prevail. Your dedication today can ensure that no one is left behind tomorrow.
The strength of a nation lies not in its leaders but in the collective spirit of its people. Be the generation that chooses integrity, for you have the power to create a legacy of hope and light.
With unwavering faith in all of us, Anas Doe

Hard truth —
Your life won't change just because you bought a new planner, a self-improvement book or an aesthetic productivity app. It changes when you strenghten your boundaries with yourself.
No journal prompt will save you if you refuse to be honest with yourself.
Tracking your habits is pointless if you keep "adjusting" your goals to make it look like you didn't miss a day.
Aesthetic routines look cute on Tiktok, but consistency is built when no one's watching.
Waking up early means nothing if you scroll for an hour instead of starting your day.
Self-boundaries are the unspoken rules you live by:
۶ৎ I will stop negotiating with my own procrastination.
۶ৎ I will not turn "I'm tired" into a free pass for every task I want to avoid.
۶ৎ I will keep the promises I make to myself, even when nobody else knows about them.
۶ৎ I will honor my rest without guilt but also honor my commitments without excuses.
Your glow up isn't about control —it's about trust. No amount of "soft life" aesthetics will outdo quiet power of showing up for yourself.

(some) gentle reminders for when the doubt creeps in
۶ৎ you belong where you are
the door wouldn’t have opened if you weren’t meant to walk through it, you wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity if you weren’t ready to take it
۶ৎ you’re not supposed to know everything
no one has it all figured out, fuck around and find out, learning as you go is part of the magic
۶ৎ you are allowed to take space
you are allowed to exist fully
۶ৎ your worth isn’t up for debate
not by others, not by you, but especially not by others
۶ৎ comparison is a lie
your path is yours only and it WILL differ to those around you, so don’t feel pressured by “being late”, all of us have our own timing and our own pace
۶ৎ you’ve survived every hard day so far
let that be proof that you’re resilient in the ways you don’t even notice

Doing the task for 20 minutes is better than thinking about it for 20 hours
Overthinking, over-planning, over-preparing won’t get the work done, it never did. Action does. Over time, even the “insignificant” one
Sitting down and starting—no matter how small or messy—is always better than letting fear and doubt hold you hostage
20 minutes of effort is breakthrough. It’s momentum. 20 hours of thinking is just a spiral, keeping you stuck in the same place
So stop waiting for motivation. Put the timer on. Start the task. Even if it’s imperfect, even if it’s just a little—you’re moving forward, and that’s progress.

Unpopular opinion —
Cute but overpriced skincare products, trendy supplements, and aesthetic workout gear won’t be the key to your glow up.
Taking retinol but not eating your vegetables will not make your skin age less
Hydration isn’t just about serums; it’s about drinking water
Collage production isn’t just about fancy creams, it’s about eating nutrient rich foods like leafy greens and berries
Glow doesn’t come from overpriced skincare, it comes from balanced meals, less sugar, and good sleep
Moving your body consistently, even if it’s walking is better than bying every workout set you’ve seen on instagram
Don’t give in to the trap of consumerism disguised as self-care. Your glow up isn’t for the sale. It’s in the basics.

The Gentle Art of Starting Over
Starting over isn’t a grand gesture. It’s not burning bridges or packing your bags under the light of the moon. It’s quieter than that.
Starting over is a radical act of kindness. It’s forgiving yourself for every misstep, every abandoned project, every time you couldn’t meet your own expectations. It’s recognizing that you don’t have to be the person you were yesterday.
It’s not about erasing everything. It’s about accepting that failure isn’t the opposite of progress—it’s a part of it. You don’t have to start from scratch; you start from where you are. And sometimes, that’s enough.
۶ৎ Here’s how you can do it:

How to start over
Starting over doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Here’s how you can do it:
۶ৎ Redefining your “why”
What matters to you now? What have you outgrown? Remember that If you have the idea you’re already capable of it.
۶ৎ Forgive yourself
Reflect, reflect, reflect, then let go of the guilt. Remember that even tho you failed, it was a step towards understanding yourself better.
۶ৎ Focus on one thing
Put your energy on one thing to begin with. Put your energy there instead of spreading yourself too thin.
۶ৎ Focus on today
Ask yourself: “Whats one thing I can do today to move forward?”
۶ৎ Plan, but start smaller
Break an overwhelming goal into micro-goals. Daily, monthly and yearly.
۶ৎ Detach from perfection
Accept that your days or work don’t have to look perfect. Progress thrives in a little chaos.
۶ৎ Celebrate small wins
Progress, no matter how small, deserves recognition.

People talk about discipline and how you need a rigid routine to get your life together, but discipline isn’t about rigid routines or chasing perfection—it’s about showing up for yourself with kindness.
Growth happens in the space between who you are and who you want to be, and if you don’t let yourself rest, celebrate small wins, or enjoy the present, you’ll burn out before you arrive.
Be gentle, take your time, and remember: life is still happening here and now.

Brainrot is that foggy, restless feeling when your brain is stuck in a loop of scrolling, consuming, or zoning out, never really engaging. It’s not laziness or failure—it’s what happens when we overstimulate ourselves and forget to let our minds rest and wander. Fighting it isn’t about going cold turkey or forcing yourself into endless productivity.
Start small: set your phone down during meals, let yourself be bored, and try creating something messy or pointless. It’s about carving out moments where your brain can breathe, little spaces to remember you’re more than just a consumer.
Be patient cuz your mind is just asking for a little room to heal.
