I was cleaning up my desktop and stuff, and I stumbled across this drawing. When I was first starting my Tumblr, I was originally going to use this for my banner, but when I tried it, the whole photo didn’t fit, only the cloud with the words on it did, and that gave me the idea to make another banner, which I had used for a while up until today. If you have not already noticed, I’ve updated my banner. It’s a new take on an oldie, with the oldie being my original banner, but not this very first one featured in this post, but only the one I’ve been using until now... hope that’s not too confusing :D

Look! It’s a gif!

This was one of my first shots at trying to make a real animation/gif for my tumblr, and I’m really happy with the the outcome. I thought that making this would take a while, but it actually only took under an hour, which surprised me in a good way.

This animation was made using FireAlpaca (to draw the frames) and AlpacaDouga (to make the frames into a gif). I use them because they are both free and easy to use.

I’ve been really into animation for a long time, so I’ll probably do a lot more of it in the future, so keep an eye out for that.

This was just a quick comic that I whipped up, and sorry if it offended anybody. In context, this was just a joke and for fun.

Also, if you haven’t noticed already, in the tag section of my most of my posts, I talk about movies and stuff, specifically superhero movies. I think that this will be a fun little thing for most of my posts from now on, so just saying, if you like talking about superheroes and stuff, just head on down to the tag section. :D

I was bored, so I made a brush in my art application that would make the “it’s that face” guy, over and over and over again. You may remember the “it’s that face” guy from my 1,000 follower special. I guess he’s the follower milestone guy, too!

#boredom #it's that face #follower milestone guy #not a 5000 follower special #havaguday #Have a good day #now it's time for the movie talk #I'm afraid that everyone is going to judge the DCEU movies comparing them to MCU movies #im not against marvel or anything but people should now that DC and Marvel have their 2 different styles of comics and movies #DC has always been dark and edgy and that's what i kinda like about it #DC is so close to their comics #even if you look at the justice league trailer you can see that the skies are red and purple; just like in the comics #and marvel has kinda been the more simplistic ones (which is not a bad thing)#with more kid friendly characters in my opinion #it's good that Marvel is doing well with their movies because in my opinion their comics kinda suck right now #DC's movies have been 50/50 (according to critics) but at least their comics are doing fine #im happy that wonder woman was a good movie #I really enjoyed the first half of man of steel! until zack snyder went berserk and destroyed everything #I think that's the problem; there's too much destruction in the DC movies #but when you think about it; that's not the problem!#It's just people are used to seeing the less harsh Marvel movies with their bright skies and understandable characters (which I like)#I think what DC is doing wrong is that they are just throwing in their characters like batman; the flash; cyborg; and aquaman!#they're expecting the audience to just already know and understand they're characters #which in reality; not too many people are too familiar with their characters #on the other hand; Marvel really sets up their characters origins before throwing them into full fledged battles #I think what Man of steel and Wonder woman did better than batman v superman and suicide squad (which no one remembers anymore) was that #they completely developed their characters with their origin stories; childhood; and their adventure growing up; etc #so that the audience would get to know the characters better and really feel for them and go with them on their journey of growing up and #adventuring into their life #but on the other hand; suicide squad just hopped straight into the plot without really introducing their characters that much

I’d like to apologize.

I know. I don’t post often. The truth is that when I started my tumblr, it was a side project or hobby that I would really only do in my free time, which to be honest, I didn’t have that much to begin with. But as the months have passed, I, and my tumblr base, have grown, and in a great way, of course, and so have my number of followers, and as this was happening, I still looked at my tumblr as, again, a side project. But I have realised that that was the wrong thing to do. I want all of my followers to get the art and everything else that they followed my tumblr for, so I’ve decided to make a rule for myself. I’ve decided that no matter what, in whatever situation, I will always post at least once a week. I feel that this is what I want for myself and my tumblr. I don’t want to stress about tossing out poor, new art every day or two, especially art that I force myself to make, even when I don’t want to. I always tell myself that it’s quality over quantity, so I’d rather make one good piece of art rather than making multiple, lower quality pieces of art. I hope that everybody understands what I mean and stand by my decisions along with me.

I’d like to say a huge thank you for all of the support from everybody, especially my friends and followers. Speaking of followers, I’d like to thank you all for almost 5 thousand followers. I’ll make sure to make a special post for that (hopefully not too long like the 1,000 follower post and this one), which will be coming soon.

And remember! I’ll post at least once a week, probably on Fridays or Saturdays.

A Milestone.

It’s hard to believe that we already have 1,000 followers, even though I only have 12 posts so far and that it’s been less than 3 months since I’ve created this tumblr. It’s truly astonishing.

I’m extremely sorry that it took so long to post this, having that we hit 1,000 followers a few days ago. I started making this drawing when we hit 1,000 followers, but I was so busy at that time that I couldn’t find the time to finish it, but I finally had the chance to finish this drawing and to post it.

I was planning to actually make a 100 followers post, but I kept on pushing it back to 200, then 300, and so on, but when we hit 1,000, I knew that I had to do something.

Thank you all so much for getting this tumblr to 1,000 followers, especially all of those followers that have been here all the way from the beginning, even though that is not too far back.

Again, thank you all so much, and I hope you enjoy the art and comics that are coming your way soon.
