April's gone already? Wow, really flew on by huh! I finished a bunch of Secret Projects which I'll be able to share soon! Played a lot of Project Sekai, too much maybe, do not ask for numbers I do not wish to know, and read some books. Not a lot, but some. I've not been very good at the book part of book blogging, but that's okay! Started a knitted hat for my mom, and made progress on the Never Ending Blanket.

Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett ⭐⭐ - I was very disappointed in this. If I had writerly abilities and disciplines, I'd rewrite it because the bones are there! It has potential! Until then, I will hold on to what I've read of Lady Trent.

Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch ⭐⭐⭐⭐- Fun! Silly! Exciting! I've been successfully bullied into reading Rivers of London! There were some bits that lagged, but it's a good start to a series and I've already checked out book two from the library so that tells you all you need to know.

Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennet ⭐⭐⭐- Not my favorite of the trilogy, but LOOK AT ME FINISHING A SERIES! This actually made me Hate Clef, and there wasn't a whole lot of scriving going on which is what I really enjoyed about the first two. Still, a decent enough ending to the series, though the epilogue kept me from hating it outright.

Reading goals for May are read and annotate a book for a friend (in progress), Moon over Soho, and System Collapse. I am behind on my bullet journal so I'd like to catch up on that too. I have a few sewing projects to attend to, and a few long term crocheting projects to work on as well. Birthday was lowkey and fun, friends have sent me lovely gifts! And of course, at some point, I will start BG3 and liveblog the progress. Yall will not be spared. Happy May! <3

so I'm gonna tell yall what we ain't about to do.

this year, we aint gonna make fun of people in the south trapped in any ice storms or bad weather that may occur. we aint about to make jokes about how southerners cant drive in ice and snow (altho it is true i dont need any northerners being an ass about it)

I will reiterate what I said a couple of years ago: the roads in the south are not made to handle ice. they are not built to handle snow. we do not have snow chains down here, at least not typically.

I dunno about other states, but we all know jack shit has been done about the Texas grid. If the power somehow fails again, we aint gonna make fun of us who have no power. we aint gonna be an ass about any rolling black outs. we aint gonna tell southerners they deserve to freeze to death just because we happen to live in the south or a red state.

Pretty good show honestly. I think it may perhaps come off a little underwhelming compared to last time because they released the full trailers early, so it was chiefly just talking, but I was still pleased.

The only thing I really wanted out of it was one (1) of my predictions coming true and one (1) surprise, and well, between the Watase Family and Nishitani...... THREE!!!!!, that's exactly what I got. Kiryu looking up at the sky like he's struggling to remember who he (allegedly) proposed to is hilarious though same energy as Jo not remembering Ikumi's name ghdshgkdhf the exchange kind of reminded me of Ichi talking to Arakawa as well... the "don't say it in the past tense" one you know the one...

Also next summit in September so that'll be a lovely birthday present :) For Me :)

Also x2 I love seeing which of my asks you decide to reblog. Whether it's because of the actual ask or because of my commentary it always feels like a win (<- normal to want and possible to achieve)

even if Considerably underwhelming, what information's been given IS causin a lotta buzz right now so !!! pretty successful summit in some regards ( ❁´◡`❁;;)

i just wish we got to see LAD8 gameplay, that's probably the only thing i really wanted but i guess there is still the fall summit (and for your birthday's sake i hope it's a real banger one)!

growin!! got big enough i had to put up a trellis(wire mesh/chicken wire cut to my window)!! it stared growing its little feelers for vining... cant wait until it blooms :)

bells are goin, slowly, but going nonetheless!! cant wait to see what they look like all big like the sweet peas

and my new addition, evening primrose(pinkladies) hehe :)c couldnt resist, i had the seeds and the seeds that were in here didnt sprout. the dirts a bit low though.. a good inch from the top cause i removed some big sticks and whatnot it had in there. need to fill it back up eventually...
