Stacy specifying that Coltrane is her boyfriend to Candace, who already knows who he is, makes no sense. But it does make sense to remind the audience that Coltrane exists because he had a total of 7 speaking roles in the entire series and hasn't shown up in an episode since 2014.

Giant Perry AU
What if Perry's nightmare in The Nightmare-inator was actually real and he did get turned giant by Doof, Perry accidentally destroys the city, and the boys found out?
Everything plays out like it does in the episode, up until Perry trips and falls. Phineas and Ferb jump out of the way in time, and Perry panics when he thinks he's crushed them, his giant tail swatting away several unlucky cars, but he sees they're fine and while he doesn't feel calm at all he's glad they're okay.
Phineas and Ferb don't have time to ask why he's enormous, or why he has a fedora, because a largescale SWAT team surrounds them immediately (like in the end of PnF Gets Busted).
Because Perry accidentally destroyed so much of the downtown area, OWCA has deemed him a rogue agent and believes he's joined forces with Doofenshmirtz for evil, so they've mounted a heavily armed assault team to take Perry down and get the boys to safety.
The boys are confused, but Perry knows what their presence means and in a split second decision, he grabs the boys, activates a giant propeller in his giant fedora, and blows the attackers away with a powerful wind as he and the boys go airborne and go somewhere far outside the city, in a secluded cave somewhere where they can recuperate and hash out their feelings.
OWCA does not take this lightly and makes it their mission to rescue the boys and take down the rogue for good.
Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz sets out to find his nemesis too cause he really should've thought this through better and he's gone and hurt Perry in all the wrong ways.
Candace, Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet also set out to find Perry and the boys after watching everything unfold on the live news.
Bonus: After Doof finds them and apologizes for his role in this, Perry puts one finger on Doof's head and squashes him like a bug, accepting the apology. And Doof just goes 'yeah you know what I deserved that.'

Screenshots from DCAU Justice League's Only a Dream and Phineas and Ferb's The Nightmare-Inator.
So Perry's nightmare in the newest episode just reminded of Superman's nightmare in Justice League, where they're both characters with a strong moral compass who worry the secret that they absolutely must keep could get out to their loved ones, and they might accidentally destroy the city and families they once protected.
If Phineas and Ferb were to find out Perry's secret, Perry would be relocated in a heartbeat, and the amnesia-inator might not always be a reliable failsafe to prevent this. Perry's accidental destruction of the city is a symbol of him accidentally destroying the love and trust his boys have him.
But unlike Superman, who at least had J'onn to assure him, Perry really doesn't have anyone he can open up to about his nightmare and especially about everything he endured in ATSD, because OWCA doesn't give a crap about his mental state and that maybe this platypus should be seeing a therapist.
"I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard, always taking constant care not to break something, to break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die." -Superman

Pre-canon fic to Separate Worlds. Recommend reading up to at least Ch 5 before reading this one.
Shermie Pines, a forty-nine year old veteran who's just trying to do what he can for his remaining family, is surprised with a piece of good news for once: his son is having twins! But while everyone is excited for the new additions to the family, Shermie can't help but reflect on the past.

Okay maybe it's a little too on the nose for them to make a Uranus joke in Doof in Retrogade but it would be so funny if they went there.

Do you have any Candace and Vanessa headcanons?
Candace: World record holder for the most extensive and valuable collection of Ducky Momo merchandise.
Vanessa: She tried to make muffins for Norm once and accidentally gave him food poisoning. Doof was very impressed and also concerned cause he didn't know a robot could get food poisoning.

Where do you think the Doofenshmirtz family fell on the whole 'which way should we turn the goats to power the shaft' debate?
Then there's Heinz, who decided the whole thing was stupid and tried to create an inator to power the entirety of Drusselstein himself. And his family was like 'oh my god he's an anarchist!'

Funny thing is that in episodes like the The Beak and Save Summer, we get tidbits where Roger freaks out if he thinks public opinion is gonna turn against him. So he does crave adoration and validation as much as his brother does.
I'm curious, what do you think of roger? I always find myself confused about my opinion of him because sometimes he stands out as an asshole to me and the next episode it feels as if he cares for heinz but doesn't get him because he's neurotypical
I dont really spend a lot of time thinking about him bc i dont like him but hes not interesting enough for me to hate him. Generally, its complicated.
I dont think hes evil. There's no way for someone to grow up in such close proximity with blatant child abuse that Heinz had to go through and not develop some sort of complex.
His relationship with his mother feels a little.... Well his mom has a weird obsession with him, and much like Heinz himself he starves for validation and approval from her. Impossible not to, really. If you grew up next to someone infinitely punished at one point youre going to feel like youre being shown an example of what will happen to you if you dont measure up. I think Roger has some sort of "Its easy to be loved and adored so long as I never screw up ever" mentality that shaped him into this cookie cutter creature top scared both of screwing up as he is to vouch for someone who WILL screw up. It makes him a coward but an efficient politician. I dont think hes even a politician of his own accord bro their dad was a man of political standing. I think their parents just sort of expected him to be a politician.
At the end of the day, Roger's characterization still feels so shallow and undeveloped that there are so many interesting interpretations of him, but my favourite remains the fact that after everything, he's still a hopeless kid being tugged around without much of his own say so, dwarfed by his brother's independent brilliance and their parent's abuse. He wants everyone to get along which is hard because everyone fucking hates each other. Heinz and his father BOTH hate him (lets not forget that Doof senior named his dog "only son"... He had two. Both Heinz and Roger prefer cats) his parents cant stand each OTHER.
Roger is a fucking nothingburger of a character with a small violin who's self centredness stems from the confusion and cowardice of his childhood. I dont like to imagine him and Heinz getting along and I ALSO dislike the idea of Vanessa looking up to him in any way.
Do i hope we WILL develop more characterization of him in the future? Can't say. At the end of the day, he's down there with Monty for me in terms of interesting characterization. At the very least I enjoy hating him

Doof's feelings are valid here. His backstories shaped his sense of identity, and the physical and mental pain he had to endure has essentially been reduced to a TikTok trend where it's cool to do these activities without any risk to the person.
I will give Drusselstein credit for realizing 'hey maybe we shouldn't try to murder people who are trying to become citizens anymore' though.
