My insurance made me switch up my pharmacy and all my psych meds have been put in limbo in the process

Currently at the level of unwell where I move my neck wrong and burst into tears. Read one tweet and am bawling. Focus for several hours and then feel absolutely wrecked by discomfort and can’t do anything. I’m so isolated and when I do go to work I have to perform in such a way that makes me feel so emotional and tapped out after. I have tools for this and I think despite it all, I’m doing ok

But I know it’s a problem when I’m crying this much about the small things. Fuck

I see the enormous blossoming of queer youths in the high school and middle school where I work. The GSA has about 90 members and 60 or so regularly attend the lunches they host. And because we are in TN, but a private school, it's really one of the only schools where this kind of diversity and expression is acceptable in a classroom setting--because we live under the laws of Bill Lee, metro schools are a far more hostile place for these students. A good amount of queer HS kids I speak with during classes tell me they transferred because they were kicked out of too many catholic or public schools here. You guess why

Anyway, I started working there 6 years ago and the first time I walked down the hallways and heard some young ones discussing their friend's pronoun change with them, and it was such a tender and wholesome moment I teared up as I continued down the hall.

As much as I worry about this world, knowing that these kids are alright, they have happy queer adults all around them and are safe and out in such a vulnerable time and age, it's something that makes me genuinely happy. It's my positive light when I feel dark

I like that kids just have trans classmates now and don't give a shit. It's like having a classmate with red hair to them. Like "Mildly notable, anyway back to Fortnite"

it's always so fucking funny to me when terfs are like "how can you say trans women and women are the same thing! being born as a man makes you different!" because like. yes. trans women and cis women are different. so are black women and white women. and straight women and queer woman. and women from different countries and different socioeconomic statuses. there's diversity in the experience of womanhood? what a wild concept
