Iām back!
So far Iāve been keto again for little over a month now and have lost 11.8 pounds.Ā Iām now 169.8!Ā I told myself that I didnāt want to blog again until I was in the 160ā²s because I didnāt want to set myself for failure when I restarted and sound like a redundant failure working towards a goal I set last year.
With that being said I will TRY to post everyday.Ā Hopefully my posts encourage you to go forward.Ā TheĀ āmagicā weight loss for Keto happened more for me after a month versus the first few days.Ā So if youāre just starting keep in mind that you donāt get fruit the same day you plant a seed.
ALSO, thank you to all the new followers.Ā So far Iām past 700!Ā Itās so humbling to see people support another person.Ā I hope that in my journey I can help yours in some ways.

Alright, my stomach is queasy and Iām best friends with my bathroom.Ā Iām cheating on my diet for now on carbs like crackers and toast for obvious reasons.Ā Thanks stomach flu.Ā Because I am throwing up I refuse to post my weight here.Ā I do NOT want to encourage purging for weight loss or do any positive comments on here about it.Ā My golden rule is I donāt do anything that I donāt want my daughters to do.
If you feel like purging or just refusing to eat much of anything is your only result for weight loss then call this number:

Otherwise tell family, friends etc that you may think you have a problem and youāre scared.Ā GET HELP.Ā We are all fearfully and wonderfully made and as much as losing weight can be healthy when DONE PROPERLY, no one should risk stomach acid dissolving your teeth and esophagus or depriving your body of nutrients to make your goals work quickly.Ā Rome wasnāt built in a day and neither was that Victoria Secret modelās body.
Hopefully I will be better tomorrow with my appetite.Ā If Iām higher for weight I donāt care right now.

Lost a 1/10 of a poundĀ
Weight loss is weight loss and I know Iāll definitely lose more tomorrow.Ā Yesterday was my day off from working out so that explains some of it.Ā But today was back at it, hopefully that will help for tomorrow.
I just feel so stressed out right now.Ā Iām not sure if itās anxiety or what but thereās moments in life between military stuff and real estate that itās super stressful.Ā Plus the girls being super grumpy for whatever reason definitely help the situation today either.Ā Hopefully things will be better next week.

I feel so much better now and my body is back in balance. Ā
Plus I got work out bands yesterday so I can strengthen my arms, shoulders, and back for a real pull up.Ā Then I can do a full pull up on my pull up bar!Ā Then my husband will stop laughing at me and calling me a cupcake while I use the washer to pull myself up!Ā That would be so cool.Ā I wish I wasnāt such a weak and easy target for bullying.
Today I got to take my darling 3 year-old to ballet and hit up the Costco.Ā Itās freezing rain outside so hopefully people will be as careful as I am. Ā
Okay, time to eat more pizza toppings for breakfast.

Total Loss for The Week: 3.4 Pounds
Iām super excited that I lost that much weight this week.Ā However, Iām bummed that I put on weight since yesterday, especially since I ate super good yesterday.Ā Although I do have to keep in mind that I havenāt been regular since I started this diet.Ā Plus I did a late workout last night and drank a ton of water.Ā Not the healthiest way to look on things but I have to remember our bodies change all the time.Ā Especially a female oneĀ like mine.Ā ALSO, I always hit a wall around this part of my weight.Ā I will fight it though.Ā This week is going to be my week to get past 173 and get closer to 160ā²s.Ā
I had another mug muffin and coffee this morning.Ā The coffee helped me feel better to so tomorrow should be better.Ā Then I still have leftover pizza so I will probably eat some toppings off of that.Ā (I got the deluxe one for me and pepperoni for everyone else because my husband hates olives and then I get a whole pizza to myself.) Ā
Doing some grocery shopping today after spending my day waiting around for the new internet guy to come over and switch us over to a cheaper internet.Ā Then I get to break up with Comcast.Ā Like- literally break up with them.Ā I SWEAR!Ā I hate switching companies.Ā They give you a billion plus offers and an hour later while youāre trying to cancel and itās like,Ā āNo Brian, itās you.Ā It has always been you.Ā Youāre high maintenance and you gouge me out emotionally.Ā I think this is honestly for the best.ā Ā
Then AFTER you break up with them you get an obscene amount of junk mail later- begging for them to take you back.Ā WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION~ can you get a restraining order from your ex internet/cable provider.Ā Asking for a friend...

Lost another half a pound.
Yesterday was a leftovers day for dinner of fajita vegetables, chicken and shrimp with sour cream and cheese in a bowl.Ā SOOO YUMMY!!!
Today was a church day and while I was preparing the girls, myself, and making sure my sick husband was good before I left I had a Quest Bar.Ā Which those suckers are amazing.Ā Itās a protein bar with 4 Net Calories a bar.Ā Thereās cookie dough, brownie and other flavors.Ā I donāt eat them all the time for a meal replacement but I do when I need to or if I need to pretend Iām eating a dessert. Ā
Ate with my mom and the girls at Applebees today and had a Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp except I subbed out red-skinned potatoes with broccoli.Ā After doing that my dinner was 10 Net Carbs. Ā
Dinner we had Costco pizza and I had supreme but just toppings.Ā So that saved me a ton of carbs there.
I donāt feel tired lately but I wouldnāt say I have tons of energy either.Ā I think the main difference this time around is that Iām not eating as much greasy foods and just eating more vegetables.Ā Even though you can eat tons of bacon every day on this diet doesnāt mean we should.Ā It has made all the difference.
My goal is to get to 160ā²s before by February.Ā Even if itās 169.9!

I lost 1/10 of a pound! Ā
I at fajitas with chicken, green peppers, onions and shrimp and it was amazing.Ā I didnāt use any tortillas and just at it as is.Ā However, I did cheat a little bit and had like 10 sips of a raspberry margarita that my husband and I were sharing.Ā Worth it.Ā But I think the most amazing part of it all was that I didnāt eat chips and salsa that those restaurants put out.Ā NOT. A. SINGLE. CHIP.Ā
So for the most part I was expecting to put on weight.Ā The very fact that I lost anything at all is a total win for me.Ā I know tomorrow will look a lot better.
My day today was filled of Showing houses for four hours, (because Iām a Realtor), and then making an offer on a Foreclosed property for the same people I just looked at.Ā 10 documents and three hours later I didnāt eat and finally had it submitted on time.Ā Neat.
Iāve been a real estate agent for almost five years now in Michigan.Ā I donāt make a million dollars every year, just do it part time and help make some extra cash and keep my mom-brain sane by having valid excuses to get out of the house.
Plus my 3 year-old makes the best assistant.Ā If I bring her to an open house or a tour she will show my clients where each room is. Ā āThis is the bathroom... this is a kitchen...ā Priceless.

Lost even more weight!!
I told myself that as long as I weighed less than yesterday by no matter how much I would be happy.Ā I feel like sometimes with diets that we set a goal weight on a daily basis.Ā Iām guilty of it and itās probably not the healthiest mindset.Ā However nobody is perfect.
Later today Iām going to a family owned Mexican restaurant with my husband and some friends.Ā Itās going to take my willpower to not order anything with beans, tortilla, rice or to not eat the chips on the table.Ā However, Mexican restaurants are one of the easiest places to be keto.Ā Sometimes I go to Qdoba or Chipotle and order a salad bowl with lettuce, meat, queso, sour cream, vegetables, guac, cheese, and salsa and itās pretty yummy.Ā So Iām sure if I get carnitas, fajitas, or a salad things will be okay.
Plus I FINALLY posted that muffin recipe.Ā Iāve been eating that the past three days straight with coffee and my mornings have been fulfilling and magical.Ā Like seriously.Ā Eating traditional breakfast foods on this diet totally is limiting.Ā Iām not a super huge fan of eggs, in fact before I had my 1 year-old I was allergic and would throw them up all the time.Ā Now it comes to a matter of as long as theyāre cooked through really good then Iām fine. Ā

Blueberry Mug Muffin
Recipe Suzanne Ryan- the author of Simply Keto
Ingredients:
3 Tbs blanched almond flour
1 Tbs coconut flour
1 Tbs of Serve confectionersā-style sweetener
1/4 Tsp of baking powder
Pinch of Salt
1 Large egg
1 Tbs unsalted butter (softened)
1 Tsp avocado oil
1/4 Tsp vanilla extract
8 Blueberries
Salted butter for serving (optional/I just used unsalted butter.)
Steps:
1. Place the almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder and salt in a med-large microwave-safe mug and blend with fork.
2. Add the egg, butter, avocado oil, and vanilla: mix well.
3. Gently stir in the blueberries.Ā Use the back of a spoon to press down the batter and smooth the top.
4. Place the batter-filled mug in the microwave and heat up for 1 minute and 15 seconds.Ā (The cooking time may vary depending on your microwave.Ā If the muffin is not fully formed after 1 minute 15 seconds, continue cooking in 15-second increments.)Ā Carefully remove the mug from the microwave- it will be hot- flip it upside down over a plate, and allow the muffin to slide out of the mug onto the plate.Ā Place the muffin on its side and slice in half.
5. Spread with butter if desired!

More weight loss!!!!!!!
Itās probably a little less than this even because I drank water before I weighed myself but itās all good.Ā Iāll also post the muffin recipe later today too.
Also, I donāt know if I mentioned but I do P90X3 alongside this.Ā Iām also going to take a free Barre Class that my 3 year-oldās class offers.Ā And if you were curious, yes.Ā Three year-old little girls and ballet is very cute. Ā
Iām in this really cool mindset right now and I love where I am mentally.Ā However, I was never always like this.Ā When I was 18-20 I had depression/suicidal thoughts.Ā I wasnāt sure what my purpose in life was and I always felt pointless.Ā However, after talking to a counselor and unburying deep seeded issues things got better.Ā Plus I met my husband towards the end of my counseling sessions.Ā The cool thing about him was he never judged me when he found out and actually was super supportive.Ā He actually reintroduced Christ into my life too.Ā Which in my opinion, for me it was good for me to have faith in someone or something.Ā However, that is just my experience and everyone is different.Ā I guess where Iām trying to get at is if you feel like youāre in a heavy place right now then take charge of your health and get help.Ā Youāre not alone and everything will be okay. Ā

I maintained weight.Ā However I do feel less bloated.Ā I think my main problem was I didnāt eat enough calories yesterday and went to bed too hungry.Ā I adjusted my calorie intake in return and hopefully that will be a step in the right direction. Ā
I did really good today!
I stayed in my 15 carb limit.
But like super good news!Ā I found the best Keto Blueberry Muffin Recipe EVERRRR!Ā I almost cried because a lot of recipes suck when it comes to breads, cookies, pancakes, muffins- whatever!Ā I know some people are like, āI love these paleo cookies or breadā.Ā I. AM. NOT. THE. ONE.Ā It tastes awful and they are just trying to be cool.Ā Plus I LOVE bread products in the morning during winter.Ā Iām cold when I wake up and grouchy because you would think after three years I would be a morning person.Ā NOPE.Ā Night Owl Forever. Ā
Itās called a Blueberry Mug Muffin byĀ āSimply Ketoā.Ā I love it because it tastes good, itās filling, and itās massive.Ā All things I love.Ā But Iām not going to lie, it did not look like the picture. Ā
If youāre thinking,Ā āDude, that is the fugliest muffin I've ever seen.āĀ Then you would be right.Ā Between my expert photography and that canned bread looking thing... you would be right.

ALSO!Ā I went to Mcdonalds for lunch and a Double Cheeseburger is 2 net carbs when itās bunless.Ā YOUāRE WELCOME.

Loaded Deviled Eggs
Recipe By and Given FULL CREDIT too: Suzanne Ryan- Author ofĀ āSimply Ketoā

Ingredients:
6 Large Eggs
5 Slices of Bacon
1/4 Cup of Mayo
1/2 Teaspoon of yellow mustard (condiment style)
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
2 green onions (for topping)
1. Boil your eggs and peel.
2. Fry bacon until crispy and finely chop.
3. Carefully cut in half lengthwise and remove yolks in bowl.Ā Add the mayo, mustard, garlic powder, 2/3rds bacon, and salt and pepper.Ā Mix well.
4. You can put filling in Ziploc bag and cut the corner to fill in the egg halves and make them super pretty or just scoop them in the egg halves.
5. Then just throw the leftover bacon, egg, and green cheese on top!
A serving is three egg halves.Ā They are 290 Calories per a serving.
Fat: 25.8g
Protein 14.3g
Total Carbs and Net Carbs: 2g
***Keeps well for 3 days.

Neat.
Yesterday was a little difficult because I really wanted cinnamon bread but I didnāt get any.Ā However, I did make Loaded Deviled Eggs by āSimply KetoāĀ and those were super yummy.Ā Iāll have to post a recipe of that shortly.Ā What I found that is super helpful this time around too is that we have a Dash Egg Steamer now. Ā
It makes my willingness to eat eggs that much easier because I barely have to do work.Ā Plus not only does it boil eggs but it also makes poached eggs and omelets.Ā Which is great!Ā Because I canāt make an omelet to save my life.

Iām alive!!
And I put on weight.... yay.
Sorry for the super long absence from November to now.Ā Holidays have been crazy for us and I really love food.Ā Plus with the constant parties and social etiquette I just couldnāt say no to my little cousinās chocolate mouse/brownie fluff thing.Ā Sheās so adorable.
So from this point forward Iām going back to doing full-blown not holding back/extreme keto.Ā By extreme I mean that Iām going to eat very little carbs and calories so I can put myself back on track and plus some.Ā Iām using the My Fitness App to keep track.Ā If you guys haven't used it before then please do!Ā Itās keeps track of macros fabulously and the catalogue of food is on point.
Also!Ā Ketokarma.com has a calculator and tips for your diet and how much to consume.Ā Itās super helpful.Ā So what I did is plug in my stats with myfitnessapp and voila!Ā Instant diet plan.Ā However, I may adjust these numbers and I will share if I do.Ā I put it on the lowest setting to see how it would go and I may add more carbs if necessary.
Lastly I just wanted to say thank you to new and old followers!Ā We are past the 450 mark and itās so cool to see people with common interests come together.Ā Plus it makes me that much more accountable.
