Izumi is constantly embarrassed by her dads

having a lot of thoughts about a career day type situation at izumi’s school and she begs both her dads to come, and like, they can’t say no to her so they go. and all the other parents go up and talk about what they do for a living but everyone the whole time is like um. the freaking firelord and his genius husband are here. like. wtf.

and then it’s their turn and izumi introduces them and sokka, who you’d think might be a bit nervous because public speaking isn’t really his Thing, does amazing, and all the little kids are enthralled hearing about all his inventions and the cool shit he gets up to every day, and he infodumps like crazy but the kids eat it right up. like to them (and they are 100% correct for this), he is the coolest guy on the planet

and then zuko goes, and you’d think he’d be fine. he gives speeches all the time. he argues with councilmen and ambassadors on a daily basis and is highly respected. but something about the twenty 5 year old’s staring expectantly up at him completely rattles him, and he just heard sokka going on about all his inventions, and he gets all flustered and somehow talks about idk taxes or something for like five minutes straight, and the kids are like wow the firelord is the most boring person alive

Okay, I’ve been thinking about this for a while but it’s always bugged me how Toph’s oldest daughter looks like Zuko and her youngest daughter looks like Sokka (a commonly accepted head cannon) and how that must’ve caused a lot of drama, but I just found out today that Zuko raised Izumi by himself like he never canonically married anyone and then I was like oh cool, so he got a surrogate or some thing and then I connected the dots.

So Sokka never marries anyone. Zuko’s never marries anyone. Zuko and Sokka spend a LOT time with each other up until Sokka dies. Zuko has a surrogate child… Toph’s children looking oddly similar…. it’s too coincidental for me. 

So yes I’m insinuating that they were gay and Toph was their surrogate.

And it makes sense why Toph never told Lin and Suyin because their lineage would be a massive safety issue concerning the amount of assassins that were after Zuko. I completely believe Toph would hide that from them for their safety.

Lin and Izumi look almost like twins! Toph probably wanted two kids and Zuko and Sokka wanted one and so Toph offered to be a surrogate so they could both have kids. Boom.

Wake up tumbler! They’re related!

Izumi being passed around in the fandom amongst all these different parents. Sometimes it's Mai, respectable option. Sometimes it's Jin or Katara, whater suits your fancy I guess! All possible if you're creative enough. Sometimes it's Sokka! Sure! They could have adopted, found someone to carry, or maybe one of them is trans. Posibilities are endless! And sometimes it's fucking Jet. Jet rose up from the 💝dead💝 to give birth to Izumi. Amazing. Showstopping. Never been done before.
