Thinking about bi Sanji with a strong preference for women, who falls a little in love with his crew when he sees them enjoying his food. He's not usually into men but they keep on doing things that drive him up the wall.

Specifically Luffy and Zoro how much they eat and how they appreciate food no matter what.

When he finds out Zoro ate the dirty stomped on onigiri a little girl made for him and he's completely gone.

One time Sanji (purely from exhaustion) drops Zoro's afternoon snack going "Ah, shit, I'll go make you another I'm just really tired after everything." To which Zoro replies "Nah, you're good, no need" and ends up eating every last crumb that was on the floor and left on the plate. Sanji just stares at him with wide eyes the whole time. When Zoro asks him what the hell he's staring at him for, Sanji can't even put a filter on himself and blurts out something along the lines of "I wanna fuck you so hard right now."

On occasion Sanji would mention to anyone who would listen, that the best way to win a cook's heart (or at least his) is to keep asking him for food and to properly appreciate food.

Sanji already felt a bit too flattered for comfort having Luffy ask him for food every 20 minutes and lurking around the kitchen. He isn't sure if he's doing it because he has an enormous appetite or because he's trying to "win the cook' heart", but it's low-key working. So when Apis burned that uneditable food and Luffy stuffed it in his face, saying it's really tasty, Sanji wanted to just grabbed him by the collar and kissed him on the spot.

Day 3 of my Yandere Writetober

Today was the day. The day you'd finally have some time for yourself - you had planned everything perfectly. You'd tell Luffy, Nami, Lysop and Sanji that you'd spend your day off with Zoro watching him train and you'd tell Zoro that you'd go shopping with Nami.

Zoro always left the ship first when you had your days off where all of you were off doing your own thing, so you'd leave the ship with him and once you were outside you'd tell him you had forgotten something and that he should leave since you'd be going with Nami anyways, so you'd go back onto the boat and get your journal (that was definitely not sitting in your bag, what are you talking about).

Zoro would leave thinking you were with Nami while you'd sneak off and the others would think you had left with him. You'd get back onto the ship before Zoro would make his way down and tell him that Nami had accompanied you back when you started to have a headache and when Nami and the others returned they would think you had come back with Zoro who would probably be napping by then.

If you were really lucky then maybe they wouldn't even talk about it and your little ruse wouldn't be uncovered, then you might be able to do it again sometimes.

Of course, you didn't want to lie to them, honestly, you didn't enjoy it one bit. They were your closest (and only) friends and they had become like family to you so lying wasn't your first option, but you had tried anything else by then.

Every time you docked at a new harbour and had no important mission to attend, Luffy declared the day a chill-out day where everyone could go off on their own to enjoy a little alone time since you were usually basically skin to skin 24/7. Except, somehow, you always ended up spending the day with one of them.

Either Zoro would make you watch him train under the guise that he wanted to help you learn some self-defence (when you mentioned the flaw in his logic that you never did any training, instead always watching him, he insisted that it was about seeing the correct form first and ended the argument, given that he was the expert), Sanji would take you to the market to buy ingredients or keep you in the boat to make you try his new recipes (always something that had similarities to your favourite dish to make sure you enjoy it) and Lysop would take you to some bar or another lively area where he told his stories in which he always was the one who saved you from mortal danger. Nami was probably the best to spend the day with. She made an effort to do something you enjoyed as well, or at least she tried until she found herself seeing something pretty in a shop and dragged you in to do some shopping - she loved seeing you in the cutest outfits and made sure to buy you something pretty every time she got to spend the day with you.

Luffy was definitely the worst, you loved him like a brother and he was the best captain you could imagine, but he was so... energetic. You'd always been more of an introvert, enjoying being alone with nature and your thoughts, and he - with his endless optimism and his hunger for adventure - was not that, in the best way possible. It was just really exhausting. He always got the two of you in some trouble one way or another and even though he always managed to get you out of it again, it was really stressful for you.

You had long stopped asking why you were never allowed to go off on your own, it always got you the same answer: 'Y/N, we just want to make sure you're safe after all you were not got at fighting like the rest of the crew. We just want to protect you.' You knew that they had a point, you had never learned to fight and you were never courageous enough to raise a weapon against someone else, even when they might have deserved it - which is also one of the reasons Zoro insisted on your 'training sessions'. Honestly, a little child playing pirates could probably beat you to a pulp easily.

Sometimes you wondered why you had even become part of the crew, but the others always squashed those doubts by telling you how important and helpful you were. After all, you were an expert in most things flora and fauna and had extensive knowledge of many different cultures, which often helped get the crew out of sticky situations and often helped when Zoro got you lost again and Luffy couldn't keep going from hunger.

But even though you weren't a fighter, you figured that you'd be fine for one day on a peaceful island without any large predatory animals, it wouldn't hurt anyone if you spent one day going on a walk through the beautiful nature and finally getting to spent more time journaling about the beautiful flowers and bird on the trail.

Which is why - while you hated lying - you didn't feel too bad about fooling your friends. And it was definitely worth it. You found some beautiful specimens of rare Venus Fly Traps and rare hybrid roses, along with a beautiful field of Symphyotrichum - also known as Asters - filled with hundreds of beautiful butterflies which made great models for your doodling.

It was so relaxing that you didn't even spare a thought towards what your crew was doing right then, which was - looking back at it - maybe not too clever, because somewhere else on the island, Zoro decided that he had enough training for the day and that maybe he should try to find Nami to spent some time with you and by some strange miracle did not get lost on the way there.

So imagine his surprise when he saw Nami, on her own, looking through some shop window. Imagine Nami's surprise when she looked around and caught sight of Zorro's green hair and her excitement of seeing you quickly faded at the fact that you were not standing there with him.

Zorro jogged over to here. "Isn't Y/N with you?" "I thought Y/N was training with you?" Both of them asked at the same time and quickly realized that something was wrong. They split up to look for the rest of the crew hoping that you may have just changed your mind and decided to hang out with one of them instead.

It was clear to say that they did not become calmer once all five of them had gathered and realized that you were, in fact, with neither of them. They split up once again to find you and it was safe to say a lot of people were threatened that day (mostly by Zorro) as they combed through the island, looking everywhere they could think of to find you, slowly but surely growing more and more agitated and slightly violent, leaving a trail of disturbance and in some cases destruction behind.

You, none the wiser, were on your way back to the boat since it was about half an hour before Zorro would usually quit training and you wanted to be sure you were on the boat before him, with a little pep in your step. The smile could not be wiped off of your face, or at least you thought so.

You were proven differently when you approached the harbour and found Zorro holding one of his swords to the neck of one of the harbour workers in a very, very threatening manner.

Quickly you hurried over, quickly getting back into the habit of trying to defuse the situation. "What's going on?" you shouted once you were only a few feet away. Zorro quickly looked at you, first with a look of confusion then of immense relief. He let his sword fall and rushed over to you, so quickly that you couldn't even process it before he had you squashed in his arms in a hug so tight that you had trouble breathing. One arm was pulling you towards him, and the other was pushing your head against his chest where you could hear his quick heartbeat.

You could hear someone running away, you assumed it was the poor harbour worker who had just had a near-death experience, as Zorro mumbled something about you being safe, and how he would not let you go again, but you couldn't hear him properly with one ear pressed against his chest and one against his palm.

You tried to wiggle out of his grasp but he only tightened it. "Are you okay?" you whispered even though you probably wouldn't even be able to understand his answer, which wasn't necessary because he didn't answer. Instead, you heard him screaming loud enough for it to reach your covered ears.

"Guys, I found them!!! They're okay!" You could make out a lot of steps coming towards you and soon you were getting whiplash from getting thrown around to so many different people all embracing you tighter than the last ones and every single one seemingly being more opposed to letting you go again.

In the end, you found yourself - somehow - being held by Luffy like a cradled child, who - also - pressed your head against him. "Are you okay? Did anyone hurt you? We were worried sick about you," he questioned anxiously.

"What, no! No one hurt me, I'm A-okay, no one hurt me. Why were you worried?" "What do you mean why? You were gone, you weren't with Zorro like you said," Nami responded, quickly followed by Zorro, "And you weren't with Nami like you told me."

You couldn't help your face growing so very warm and darkening in colour because of the embarrassment of being caught in a lie. "Well," you started, not being able to help it that you pressed your face even closer towards Luffy, not able to stand the disappointment you imagined in their faces - unaware that they all couldn't help but coo over how precious you looked like that, "I may have swindled a little bit, I- I just wanted to spend some time on my own, I wanted to go through nature and journal again for once, I really didn't mean to make you worry."

"You could have told us, I'd gladly go through walks in the forest with you, who knows I might find some nice fresh fruit for some pastries on the way," Sanji said and you elected to ignore the fact that you had mentioned it towards them and that part of the whole idea was you having some alone time, but you figured you were already in enough trouble as is.

"I'm sorry, I really am, next time I'll say what I like outright," you sighed earnestly, now slightly concerned about the fact that Luffy still hadn't let you go.

"I don't think there'll be a next time soon, it's probably best if one of us stays on the boat with you from now on, just until we're sure we can trust you again, okay?" Zorro exclaimed and the others seemed to agree with him.

"What? No? I'm not a child, you can't just keep me locked away. I get that you want to protect me, but I'm my own person, I can make my own decisions and if I want to go on a walk I can go on a walk, now would you please let me down?"

Ignoring your request at the end of your rant, Luffy shook his head and shushed you slightly, "I know this is a lot to take in, but we just want to protect you, you're too frail and fragile to be alone in this dangerous world, so we'll take care of you, okay? Now I think it's time for a nap, don't you think so?"

You tried to argue that they should stop treating you like a child right that instant when suddenly there was a little vile of liquid brought to your lips and you couldn't help but swallow it in shock. You tried to fight back against Luffy's grip, tried to ask them what the hell they were doing and what was happening, why they were suddenly acting so strange, but every move felt like you were weighed down by a thousand tons and your words came out slurred and more and more quiet before you couldn't keep your eyes open and fell into a deep, disturbed slumber. Unaware of how much your life - and your position in the crew would change.

Luffy’s one of those sleepers that go to sleep normal and wake up rapped in blankets under the bed with a horseshoe sized knot on the side of his face

But in all honesty he’s a wild sleeper

Cuddle wise he’s just as wacky

His way of cuddling is just him lugging his arms and legs over your body and calls it a day

Over all awful sleeper

Dear god help us all

I don’t know where to beging

This man is something else entirely

The only thing does constantly is train, drink sake and sleep

He sleeps so much that when you actually have to sleep he just stays up all night until 4am

Cuddle wise he’s very touchy feely

Like hands everywhere touching everything

The man has no regard for personal space ( I mean and why would you want him to)

Through our the day he’s all over you so it’s only natural that he’s like that at night as well

Like I said before, he’s very hands on so his hands are everywhere all at once it seems

Arms, head, legs, torso, Everything

On the plus side he runs warm which extends to his hands

He really like to sleep with his head either on your stomach, butt, or chest

But he REALY likes your stomach

Like a lot

Your like his human body pillow

All of this while his hands are firmly gripping your ass

Although sometimes his hands may wonder a little lower, all in all he’s a great cuddler

But really cuddles how he loves, passionately

When sleeping he buries his face into the crook of you neck and inhales your scent while his hand is still in your shirt

In my mind he sleep talks in French

Idk know why but he whispers the weirdest shit while he’s asleep

“I missed you...” Luffy laughed jokingly, imitating Zoro’s tone. “I wish you went with us soooo badly ’cause we were gone for soooo long.”

“Y’know that’s not how it went.” Usopp corrected. “You forgot the big heart eyes he had when we were at the harbor. Zoro’s in looovvve.”

Zoro rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. “You two are overdoing it.” He neither denied or agreed to Usopp’s last statement, so that left the two male Straw Hat Pirates wondering exactly how he felt about you.

“So correct them!” Nami exclaimed. “They’ve been doing nothing but this for the past hour.” She rolled her eyes and slumped against her chair.

“He doesn’t owe any of us an explanation, my friends.” Sanji replied. He and Zoro exchanged nods. “Now, let’s order from this restaurant and act like adults for the sake of our visit.”

“Welcome to—” the waitress started.

“You’re new.” Zoro observed, giving her a judging stare.

“Um. Yes…how can I serve you all today?” She asked quietly.

“Does a waitress that carries a sword still work here?” Sanji inquired.

“Yeah! And she likes to hang out at the harbor?” Usopp added.

“Stop interrogating her.” Nami defended. “We’ll take one of everything.”

The poor thing nodded her head and hurried away from their table. Nami gave Sanji and Zorro her typical “what the hell” stare. Usopp shrugged his shoulders when he wasn’t acknowledged. At least he wasn’t in trouble.

Dinner was delicious. The Straw Hats had full stomachs as they walked back to their ship. Zoro walked slowly, hoping to find a glimpse of you in the crowd.

“Damn it.” He murmured quietly.

“What?” Luffy asked curiously.

“She had today off.”

“So?”

“We agreed to meet at the fountain. And I missed it.” Zoro replied, irritated at his forgetfulness.

“And…?” Luffy motioned for him to continue.

“I told her I wanted her to join the crew.”

“Well, she is very skilled. Probably the world’s second greatest swordswoman.” Luffy felt tension between him and his first mate. He had never seen Zoro like this. “Why did she say no?”

“Because she didn’t want to.” Zoro replied defensively. He clutched the hilt of his katana tightly.

“Want to? Or couldn’t?” Luffy suggested.

Zoro pushed him aside and trudged to the Go Merry. He went to his cabin, shut the door, and grumbled a string of negative self talk. When he turned around, he was surprised to see you on his bed.

“You’re here?” He whispered. You playfully nodded your head, hopped off, and walked to him, gently taking his hands in yours.

“Yes, Zoro, I am.” You replied, looking into his eyes.

“Why?” He asked, leaning his forehead on yours. You slowly kissed his lips, making him stiffen. It was gentle, but sent intense feelings of desire in him. He crushed his lips against yours and wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you closer. You led him to his bed, giving him the choice of how to handle the situation. He plopped you on the mattress and hovered over you, meeting your intense gaze. “Why?” He asked again.

“Because, Zoro,” you said, dancing your fingers down his face. They went down his cheeks, neck, chest, and stopped in front his pants. “I want to give you a proper goodbye.”

“So it is a no…” he closed his eyes as he felt you run your fingers up and down his bulge.

“But not yet.” You added, slowly removing his pants down. “Not tonight.”

Zoro grabbed your wrists and held them on the sides of your face. He gave out an animalistic growl and started to kiss the side of your neck, slowly going down until he reached the neckline of your top.

“You’re the captain tonight.” You whispered as he took off your shirt. You sat up and sighed as he greedily kissed you and brought his hands under your skirt to rub you right there, right where it felt so good.

You positioned yourself where he can easily slide in, and he does.

“Would a captain really do this?” He asked hoarsely, readying to enter. You closed your eyes and let him take you.

“The one in this cabin does.”

𝘚𝘺𝘯𝘰𝘱𝘴𝘪𝘴; Zoro can’t seem to get his fixation off a certain crew member that recently joined the pirates so what else can he do rather than confront her about the damage she’s doing to his heart.

𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨; clueless!reader

During my days of being apart of the straw hat pirates it was pretty hectic and exhausting but entirely fun

Their Captain Monkey D. Luffy had recruited me off another one of the islands that they had rescued initially, I wasn't planning on becoming a pirate but after Luffy had begged and pleaded so had some of the crew members pleaded for me to join since they needed a strategist and after seeing me give them a brilliant idea to take down the larger group of pirates that were trying to take over the island.

The captain himself had pleaded and pleaded and begged up I at least until I took up on that offer, I couldn’t say no to those big wide eyes of his they were just too irresistible

So here I am now, leaning over the railing of the ‘going merry’ as they called it and watched as the sun set and the salty sea air blow in my face pushing back my hair a bit out of my face

“My beautiful Vicky, would you care for one of my homemade drinks for someone as beautiful as you”Sanji I think that’s his name, fluttered out practically flying with his toes toward me with his hands extending with the drink he made

Aw how sweet

“Thanks, Sanji” I complimented flashing him one of my signature smiles, after that he basically fainted on the floor. Evaporating right in front of my face

“Anything for my beautiful Vicky..” he just kept muttering incoherent words to himself, the lit cigarette that was in his mouth dropped to the ground right next to him. His eyes turning into hearts

“Sanji..”I called out unsure of what to do at this moment

No response

He continued mumbling out words while pooling on the floor that was until I heard luffys voice yelling in the distance of the ship

“Sanji, I'm hungry!” he called out making his way over to where we both were at, at this Sanji angrily got up picking up his cigarette in the process and walked away muttering curse words to himself

“You’ll have to wait!” he responded in a much harsher tone

Luffy shrugged this off and continued his way towards me

“Hey Vicky” he greeted with that big ole gummy smile of his stuck on his face

“Hi Luffy” I greeted back taking a tiny sip from the drink Sanji got me, Luffy saw this and intensely eyed my drink with that stupid smile of his still on his face

“Something wrong Captain” I asked out confused

He shaked his head in response

“Nope” he popped out the ‘P’

then silence came back as he continued eyeing the drink in my hands

I pushed out the drink towards Luffy’s face as he greedily snatched it and poured it down his mouth in one go

“Thank you Vicky!” He jumped up happily right then we heard some more yelling in the distance Once again

“Luffy’s you jackass, where's my juice” Nami ran out of her office with an empty glass container in her hand and speed walked toward us

“Gotta go” he giggled out speed walking the opposite direction

Nami saw this and ran towards him as she chased him down the other side of the ship

I shrugged this off and turned my attention back to the sunset that was now gone and nightfall had fallen upon the ship now

The breeze continued to blow in my face as I focused more on how my life has been going so far, the adventures I've been having and the new friends I've made

“Have anyone seen zoro” chopper asked roaming around the ship high and low looking for Zoro

This man was the finest thing on the grand line itself, it's a shame he's so ignorant and anti-social I would have tried to make a move on the guy but he was just so closed off I didn't know how he would react if I just go up to him and started a conversation

I've always had my eyes on the swordsman since the beginning from when I joined the ship, he was the only one who wasn't begging and pleading for me to join and just shrugged it off when Luffy informed him of a new crewmate

From the start, til now we haven't had a decent conversation with each other but just glances here and there, I'm too shy to just walk up to him and start talking and he's…I guess too closed off. I would occasionally pass by him here and there Working out and stuff but that's it, even during dinner we wouldn't speak to each other

Nami noticed this and always pestered me about why out of all the crew mates I hadn't spoken to Zoro yet at all, I would simply tell her to have patience and that I was waiting for him to feel comfortable enough to have an conversation with me

“Don’t let that cold facade fool you Vicky, he's nice..”

“When he wants to be” Robin chimed in one time when Nami was on her daily rants again about my relationship with Zoro

Naomi snickered at this in which I just blushed and walked off before she started all over again

Making my adrenaline rush to my ass and my heart beat ten times my normal heart rate, I don't know how to explain the way I feel about Vicky

The first time I laid eyes on her was when that Captain of ours fluffy announced that she had officially agreed to join the crew as the ships strategist

Personally, I didn't think we needed someone to make great plans for us we could have just go in and fight and go right back out and were done but boy seeing her in action really changed my mind, The Way how she just gave orders while still softly speaking it out just gave me weird things inside my stomach

Ever since she joined I've never personally spoken to her before rather than glimpses I would give to her here and there

I haven't mustered the courage to ever personally walk up to her and start a conversation but all I could do was watch that stupid cook flirt with her everyday practically drooling and having another one of his perverted seizures whenever she'd thank him or even just started a conversation with him

‘how does he do it’ I wondered

I wouldn't ever admit but Sanji had a way with the ladies that I was always secretly envious off, even when I wouldn't show it I hated the way he could just effortlessly flirt with her without getting a heartache and stammering halfway in the conversation, he would just simply let it flow through

I hated that

No matter how hard I tried and avoided her, frequently working out more than usual just to get this chick out of my mind but it simply wouldn't work and that's what pissed me off, my life was going so good before her and now that's she's here I can't seem to eat, sleep, breath, move, or even think straight without this chick crossing my mind and making me frozen

This had gone far long enough

Tonight I'm gonna confront her about this spell she's cast upon me to make me so weak in the knees, I would seriously need to tell Luffy that we might have invited a witch on board

I yawned a bit, looking around and seeing that everyone must have gone to bed already while I was the only one up, I looked back at the ocean some more before pushing myself off the railings and heading downstairs

While doing so someone bumped into me when they were turning the corner form the gym room and basically toppled me down on the floor,

“My apologies” I looked up and it was Zoro sweating still carrying those dam three swords that nearly killed me just now

I nodded taking his hands that he had extended to help me to my feet and thanked him, turning my heel to walk back to the room when he halted my movement by holding onto my shoulders

“Can I ask you a question” he paused out

I turned my head slightly to look at him

“Yeah..”

He sucked in a deep breath of air before speaking

“Are you a witch”

This time I fully turned around and look at him in bewilderment

“You serious right now”

“You prance around here innocent and vulnerable but you think I haven't uncovered your secret yet. I have” he said

I just stared at him up and down in shock

An I dreaming now

“Zoro..” I whispered out

“You think I don’t know about your witch act!”

“you’ve put me under one of yours spells and I can’t get out, GET it the hell off me woman” He shouted

I looked over at him flabbergasted

“what spell” I mumbled out

He sighed at this

“you think I don’t know..that you put a love spell on me to force me to be in love with you!” He screamed moving up and down

Sacred Devotion - Trafalgar Law x Reader

Running around the halls, he ignored the blood that marred his entire body and the sound of people screaming and crying. He did not care for them. They were merely enemies that had wronged him and deserved to die more than anything. He would have every last one of them tortured and killed purely for fun at this point. 

It had all started days ago when one of his crew mates and companions had done something so stupid. 

Looking around the steel halls, all of them tried to work out what was happening. There was not a single person who did not sense a cruel threat lurking in the shadows. None of them liked the feeling and they were all trying to figure it out before someone got hurt. 

Feeling a rumbling beneath them, Y/N looked down at the floor to see small lines beneath their captain’s feet. Frowning, they stared at it for a second before they realised what it was. 

“No!” They shouted, and the crew turned to look at them confused right as they pushed their captain out of the way. 

The ground beneath them opened up like the heavens and they fell down into their own future hell. Before anyone else could follow the doors shut and Law’s eyes widened before he knelt down banging onto the door and trying to pry it open. 

Bursting through the doors, his eyes immediately spotted the person who had their head hung low and was shackled to a cross as if they were about to become a martyr for all to see. Burns, blood, bruises, so many different colours marked their body and he did not like the look of a single one of them. Instead, he was incandescent with rage. 

The guard from the corner immediately stood to his feet and Law held out his hand, "room - mes," the heart flew to his hand and the guard's eyes widened not understanding. Law grit his teeth together and looked up at the man with dark eyes. He wanted him to suffer in a thousand ways possible but he simply did not have the time. He crushed it without hesitation. "Shambles," the crushed heart switched places with Y/N and they fell in his arms so clumsily that it took him a second to get his grip on them.

Feeling a dull pain in their arm, Y/N slowly pushed open their eyes and allowed their head to fall to the side to see what was happening. There was a needle inside of it and the majority of their arms were bandaged so carefully and well. 

"You're back in the sub," a familiar voice called out, and they shifted their eyes once more to look at the figure that was sat in the corner. He was sat on a crate and leaning against the wall and his sword. His coat was hiding the lower half of his face and the hat the upper. They couldn't see his eyes. They did not care. Seeing that he was alive was enough for them to relax. 

Law gritted his teeth together and bowed his head ever so slightly, "what the hell were you thinking?!" He hissed standing to his feet and walking over to them, "tch- you weren't strong enough to take them on all on your own! Do you have so little faith in me that you thought I wouldn't survive a simple easy kidnapping! It was a stupid idea and I can't believe you've even made it this far by my side doing such horrid things!" He yapped, and they waited until he was done before they tried to push herself up but he used the hilt of his sword to push them back down, "why can't you ever just leave things alone?!" 

Watching over his angry face for another second, they sighed before allowing their eyes to close again, "I knew you'd find me," they admitted her voice hoarse and it was so clear they didn't regret a thing. 

"What?" 

"Maybe I did it because I have too much faith in you," they pointed out, and they reached out picking up his hand as he remained completely frozen. 

"You shouldn't have done it, y/n-ya. You could have died." 

"And I will do it again," they promised, "I'd much prefer I die a thousand times before you even get close to death." 

Sighing, he gently squeezed their hand before he placed his sword down so that it was leaning against the hospital bed. Reaching out with his free hand, he brushed back some of their hair that had gotten in their face. "You're a lot of trouble," he reminded and they smiled lazily. 

"But you like me really." 

"Sometimes I doubt it-" 

"Yes you do, you love me," they grinned their eyes dull and tired. 

Taking a moment, he released her and began to walk away, “get some rest y/n-ya, I’ll be needing my watchdog back to their full health.” 

Y/N smiled as they allowed their body to relax. They knew he’d happily die for them as well, perhaps they’d found immortality in their sacrifices for each other. Only time would tell.

I feel like Luffy would be really confused but not really mind or notice the little giggles and whispers to yourself. He'd think its super cute and weird

Totally picks on you for it even though he has no clue what its about or what it means

Luffy is really honest and straight forward. Never beats around the bush. So the way I imagine Luffy meeting your Venom (so to speak) would be him jumping right in during one of your conversations with them like

"Venom! You need to relax. I know you want chocolate but we ran out already!"

"Yeah Venom! I ate it all. Also, who's Venom?"

So cute and innocent when he asks you. Literally no judgment, just curious. Just kinda walked in while you were talking and joined the convo

Totally spooked you but Venom just kinda gets mad at there being no chocolate

You cannot convince me otherwise:

"EWWWW Y/N!!! THERES A BUG ON YOU!!! Hold still, lemme squash it!!!"

Even after explaining what's going on between you and Venom he completely has no idea what's going on. You literally explained it in the simplest of ways and he has no clue

That being said, he takes the whole thing really well. He kind of just thought you had a weird devil fruit power.

He and Venom would either get along well or fight over everything. They'd steal each others meals at dinner once Venom starts making an appearance to the rest of the crew

If it was supposed to be a secret, no it wasn't

All in all, he'd support you just like he supports all his Nakama. And Venom becomes his Nakama since Venom is a part of you!

Zoro

He was napping against the railing of the ship, as usual, when he sees you talking to yourself in the corner.

Initial reaction: wtf?

He just kinda let's it go. None of his business

When it starts happening more and more and he sees you straight up arguing with nothing he gets kind of concerned

Wouldn't really know how to bring it up delicately so he literally just asks you

"What the hell are you doing?"

You'd probably have to explain it in words less than two syllables as well or he won't get it either

I low key see him being mildly curious about the strength and durability of Venom. Probably would want to train with them but wouldn't actively search for that

He does keep an eye on you and your symbiote a lot more when you are in a fight. He just enjoys seeing you and them destroy your opponents and how strong you are

He and Venom dont really interact much but there's a mutual understanding of if one hurts Y/n the other will kill them

If you two and Zoro ever spar Zoro and Venom will have an absolute blast. Literally. Everything is destroyed and both of them are still going at it

All in all, Zoro is also chill with it. He is accepting. Probably has drinking matches with Venom to see who can hold their liquor better

Sanji

Sanji is too blinded by he absolute devotion for you and how cute you are to notice the odd tendencies

Or rather, he notices but thinks its just an odd little quirk of yours and doesnt mention it

That is, until he catches you sneaking into the kitchen in the middle of the night with this big black goo looking thing with spikey teeth hanging off your shoulder

Eating all his food

He needed those strawberries!! The ladies wanted strawberry shortcake for breakfast!!!

Completely ignored you and tried to kick the shit outta Venom.

"GET OUTTA MY KITCHEN YOU PARASITE!!"

He absolutely hates Venom. They obscure your lovely skin and make it more difficult to see your figure!

But at the same time they accentuate a lot of your natural figures and shapes so he is sort of torn in half

Also, Venom eats everything. All the time. Worse than Luffy!!

Luffy more or less has a limit to how he stretches when he eats. Venom is an actual black hole. Eats everything, cooked or uncooked

Venom will peak their little head out on your shoulder while you wait in the kitchen and watch Sanji cook

And then steal the ingredients like an actual child

His hand has been caught in the cookie jar a lot

Sorry, that's a lot. He takes Sanji's food a lot. Ero-cook is no pleased

He also doesn't like another creature spending more time with his previous Y/n-swan than him

So jealous of that symbiote. He wants to spend that much time with the lovely Y/n but cannot

They get to feel Y/n's skin!!! All the time!!! (And be inside them lol)

All in all, Sanji will love and support you. He dislikes Venom but puts up with him. He at least will eat everything so there will never be any leftovers or food that goes uneaten. Even if its questionable in terms of freshness.

One Piece 1000 - 10 Confessions as a One Piece Fan

Although we did the Initial Thoughts a week ago (a long week ago, damn) which you can read here I wanted to do something for the official release of One Piece’s 1000th Chapter At first it started out to be ‘10 things I wanna ask Oda that I don’t think we’ll ever know’ but I couldn’t think of 10, then I was gonna do a General opinion post about it, but didn’t want it to come off too negative. So I am settling on a confessions post, which will have elements of these anyway.

So as we have a happy 1000, let’s talk about some stuff I usually don’t get to talk about in One Piece

Note: There will probably be spoilers so make sure you’re up to date

10. Late Beginnings I think the first confession I have to have is that despite being older than One Piece I am unfortunately not a ‘Day One’ fan. In fact I think I mainly got into One Piece around mid-Whole Cake Island arc, before I had of course known about One Piece, it was a ‘Big Three’ anime after all but the most I knew about it was that they had a guy named Luff-y and another called Zorro, and it was about ‘Pirates who can’t swim’. My curiosity only developed when in a youtube deep-dive of anime clips I kept being recommended One Piece clips, and decided to give a couple a go. Most of them were Paradise arc stuff from the anime, the dub voices were mostly atrocious so I stuck to sub. I was happily surprised about the amount of fun and emotional weight these clips gave me, which led me to check where One Piece was as of current and backtrack from there (Ironically I did the same with Beastars). I did eventually get caught up around the time of the Mafia Meeting and I’ve kept up with each chapter since.

9. I mostly still prefer the Pre-Timeskip looks When I first felt this I thought it to be pretty controversial, nowadays not so much. I understand that Oda wanted to change the look for many characters but some of them did feel like a downgrade. I think the ones who got it worst was Franky, I think it’s the bulbous shoulders, Franky was no stranger to body horror from Enies Lobby to Sabaody but I kinda preferred that he still had a lot of his humanity rather than looking like an action figure. Otherwise I think Robin, Nami and Chopper had it bad, maybe Brook too but his was more fashion than design; the women in general took heavy hits by Oda’s proportion design - I mean I get it boobs are nice but proportions are what make them better - but Robin also underwent a skin color change in the anime, who pre-timeskip shaded her skin darker than in the manga and corrected it to match the manga, I think most of us would’ve preferred Robin to have kept the darker skin tone and possibly even the fringe, Robin’s hairstyle (and her fashion in general) can be hit and miss. I go to and fro about Nami, other than the general waist and bust adjustments I think it fits her character to use her sexuality a bit, she was no stranger to that pre-Timeskip, sometimes though I can’t tell whether I preferred her with short or long hair (Short was definitely better on Nojiko), I do think though that Oda could have her show less skin, she is still very pretty in outfits such as Water 7, Thriller Bark and even her fake pirate disguise in the early chapters/episodes. Finally with Chopper I think it was a bad move to alter the hat, that was a memento from his father figure Hiriluk, it’d be like if Luffy altered his straw hat or Zoro replacing Wado Ichimonji, I do also feel that the design for Chopper’s points while easier to draw don’t look as good, I think a lot of it is the scruff, or lack thereof in favour of smoothness, Walk Point is fine but Heavy Point, Guard Point and Horn Point seem less threatening, Monster Point especially too, in Enies Lobby he looked like a cave painting of menace and destruction, now he’s smoother and his scruff lighter so it’s not as good. The rest of the designs I’m quite fine with though.

8. I wish some markings stuck as well Tattoos and Scars seem to be optional in the One Piece world sometimes, unless it’s branded in molten heat like the Dragon’s hoof, Sun Pirates logo or an attack from Sakazuki. While Nami’s redesigned tattoo has stuck around and Luffy and Zoro’s scars persist, they are mainly character reminders/mysteries for huge moments in the story, and I kinda wish that some of the Straw Hats had littler markings, not just scars either. For instance, the Alabasta X on the arm, I really wish that stayed on each of the Alabasta characters’ arms since it was a symbol of friendship with Vivi, I also wish that Luffy kept the 3D2Y mark on his arm. In terms of scars though it would’ve been nice to see the characters a bit more battle-worn; Zoro’s ankle scars from Mr. 3 have faded and frankly he should be covered in little and long scratches given his fights with Mr. 1 and 2 years of Mihawk Training, Nami’s shoulder scar is hidden completely by her tattoo and she has no scars on her hand (from fake stabbing Usopp) or foot (from blocking Miss Doublefinger), Usopp himself could’ve used some small scratches because lord knows how there’s even still bones in his nose plus he was in murder island for 2 years, Chopper could at least have a small bald patch from when his shoulder was impaled and burned by Shura’s fire lance too, other than that there’s just Jimbei’s potentially missing shoulder scar from Marineford, though Oda has kept it obscured a lot so maybe that is still there. I understand why Oda doesn’t or forgets to, but it would’ve been nice if we lived in a vacuum of no time limits and whatnot.

7. Dead End Adventure is my favourite One Piece film I don’t know what it is, but Dead End Adventure just gives me the most fun out of the One Piece films. It has a good side plot and the side character Shuraiya was a blast of a character. Granted, Gaspard wasn’t too good of a villain side for actually harming the straw hat and his defeat was a bit underwhelming but the race, the settings it was all fun. It is not to say I don’t enjoy any other One Piece movies, I delight in the horror fuel of Baron Omatsuri - and that killer final punch - and Z’s tragic tale of a fallen marine, Strong World has that epic entrance to the party and Stampede also had some great team up moments and fantastic writing for Usopp and Smoker but Dead End Adventure always feels like the movie I could watch in any mood.

6. Skypeia and Fishman Island are some of my favourite arcs While I can understand the criticism of the Long Ring Long Land arc (especially since the anime dragged out the Davy Back Fight) it surprised me that people found Skypeia and Fishman Island arcs to be boring or less entertaining than previous arcs. Everyone has their preferences of course but I felt that Skypeia and Fishman Island were very powerful arcs especially with the theme of racism. Both had glorious setting design different to the common customs of the world we had seen, Oda made both Skypeia and Fishman Island feel very much lived in with its own budding culture and prejudices, with a villain who was dead set on destroying everything just to have their way. With Enel and his priests we were able to push several characters to newer limits, with Robin showing her fighting capabilities, Zoro learning his projectile slashes, Chopper having to endure fighting 3 priests and even Usopp growing all the more braver in the face of seemingly indestructible opponents and later gaining access to the dials. With Fishman Island it was different because it was basically a ‘flex arc’: where the main villain is meant to be a stepping stone rather than a threat but even then the symbolism of the enemy is what’s significant with them, the inherited hatred of humans. But at the same time we do learn new strengths from the crew; Red Hawk, the use of armament Haki, Skywalk, Hell Memories, Franky Shogun, Usopp’s pop greens, Nami’s weather eggs, Brook’s Soul Solid and his new DF power (which is possibly an awakening), as well as the first true steps of Jimbei joining the crew. The biggest strength of both arcs is the flashback as well, like Wano would in present time both arcs demonstrated that Oda can carry a story without his main characters and still keep it as captivating as ever, be it the friendship of Noland and Calgara, the tragedies of Otohime and Fisher Tiger or the life of Kozuki Oden and the man who would be Pirate King. And the impact of Fishman Island and Skypeia’s flashbacks both come back around in Dressrosa with the dwarves and Koala, and Fishman Island really does kick off the whole Yonko saga with Luffy challenging Big Mom, these arcs were definitely significant as they were entertaining with silly faces, strong fights, challenging themes, lorebuilding, good side characters and unique twists. And the overall message of healing from the past is still significant to this day. Through Wyper’s sacrifice and the Bell ringing to Jimbei giving blood and the Ryugu royals wanting to attend the Reverie, it is all very powerful stuff and while the arcs are similar in nature its their similarities that make me love them. Also the cover stories with Enel and Gedatsu on their own mini adventures are fun

5. I really want to know where Ghin is Ghin/Gin was such an interesting character in Baratie. Given that this was right before Arlong Park too so we had not seen a character conflict with different loyalties in One Piece until then, his gratitude to Sanji against his loyalty to Krieg created a fantastically complex character, but then he left and we didn’t hear about him ever since. Did he survive Krieg’s poison gas? Is he still with Krieg? One reactor of the episode said “maybe he’ll become the next Don” which was a concept I kinda really liked. The guy was pretty strong given that he had bested Sanji at that time, and since he didn’t appear in a cover story my mind does wonder. It’s not just Ghin either, a lot of the early East Blue characters kinda fell off the map; where is Morgan? Last we saw he was sleeping as he sailed past Jango, where is Kuro? For someone wanting to resume piracy after some years off he has been very quiet, where is Krieg? Only Arlong and Morgan were arrested and the latter escaped so the rest of these characters are a mystery. Recently in Wano I am still wondering where Law’s crew that he brought to Onigashima went, as well as Caribou - where is that slippery bugger?

4. Basil Hawkins is probably one of my Top 5 Supernova There’s something about that dude I gravitate towards, which makes it quite frustrating when the anime decides to add extra malice and creepy faces to him. Hawkins in Wano is still a victim, if anything he is simply a prisoner with better working conditions, if he thought he could survive escaping Kaido he would but he doesn’t so he won’t, he’s also gonna feel sore about Drake betraying him and letting Law cut him up, so it annoys me that Hawkins is seen like a villain. Not only does he have an extremely interesting Devil Fruit and creativity with it but he’s also audaciously confident in his fortunetelling, even Luffy ran from Kizaru at Sabaody while Hawkins looked at his cards while Kizaru was about to boot him to holy hell and said ‘nah I’m not dying today’, you gotta respect that moxie. At the same time though as a pirate he has that shades of grey element, he’s okay with letting some of his crew be disposable and we don’t even know to what end, he doesn’t look like a guy too concerned about being Pirate King or having riches. I also get a good laugh in that his hobbies are interior design, it makes me really want to see what the inside of his ship looks like. I think as a top 5, I have Luffy, Zoro, Law, Hawkins and then Kid, Bege, Killer and Bonney are not far behind with Apoo dead last because fuck Apoo. Kid and Killer are cool but I do feel like they need a bit more character, Bege earned some points in being funny and his care for his family in WCI and then there’s Bonney - I really hope we dig into Bonney’s significance, she feels really important and that mystery keeps her fresh whenever we see her. Drake too has only really started to become interesting because of SWORD, we could still see more fleshing but for now he is like bottom 3. It’s a shame Urouge has to be so low, he’s not bad but he’s not spectacular either, gotta admire his hobby of lovemaking though, you do you Urouge.

3. I don’t think that either of the ‘Most Beautiful Women in the World’ are the Most Beautiful Women in One Piece The in-world consensus seems to be that the Most Beautiful Women in the World are Boa Hancock, Komurasaki and Shirahoshi, and granted they are very pretty, but the most? Not for me. I mean, y’all know that Nico Robin, Nami and Vinsmoke Reiju exist right? Makino as well is stunning, as are Tashigi, Bonney, Margaret, Ishilly, Nojiko, Vivi, Rebecca, Pudding, Perona, Cosette and I’m sure a few others, realistically I think they could all give them a run for their money. I get how for those three their beauty is a plot point (Boa it’s drilling home Luffy’s obliviousness to it, Komurasaki it’s the swerve of her not being awful and for Shirahoshi it’s due to Vander Decken IX pulling the creep factor on her) but it would’ve worked the same way without the ‘world’ hyperbole I think. As much as Oda is iffy with proportions and rarely writes women with as much attention as the boys he sure knows how to make them attractive.

2. Some of my favourite individual Straw Hat scenes aren’t in Canon If I were to have a top 5 moments of each character, it may surprise you that some of it comes from movies or filler episodes, particularly Sanji’s flexing on Jessica in the G8 Arc (in fact, Jonathon is one of my favourite marines, T-Bone is in there too, but I don’t have room to fit that). Some are of course obvious because of how iconic they are but it does go to show that sometimes filler isn’t all bad. 1. I’ve learned quite a lot due to One Piece Since my fascination started with a deep dive of checks, I did start to learn a hell of a lot more not just about the franchise itself (you know it’s almost catching up BATMAN on total sales, which has been around more than 3 times longer?) but I also learned a lot about stuff Oda has used as a reference key; folklore, actual pirates, actual practices, the amount of detail Oda puts in is astounding. Which does lean into another thing I’ve learned, One Piece has changed the way I approach some of my ideas for writings and whatnot, before I would be afraid of either spoonfeeding or being too vague, Oda’s mastery not only in storytelling but character development, character quality and pacing has both helped and intimidated me a lot of times, I mean consider this: it took hundreds of chapters to get a proper backstory on Luffy, the main character, how unprecedented is that? Often I could fall into the trap of making sure you knew everything about the main character from day one but now I wonder about what’s necessary for the now and what can I work on. Another thing that both inspires and intimidates me is his drawing, I suck at colours and still do, and a lot of Oda’s attention to detail is incredible considering he’s gotta whip that out on the weekly, but at the same time you see some of his rough sketches and they’re pretty similar to a rough sketch of my own, so in a way it’s a ‘there’s still hope for you’ moment seeing those. I can’t say I’ve learned Japanese from listening to One Piece, but I have picked up on some stuff, some hiragana there, some phonetics here, I also appreciated some of the stuff kaizokuou-ni-naru does (I won’t tag them in case that’s a bit rude to do it out of the blue but check out their tumblr) when it came to deciphering the Japanese of chapters and the little puns and hints Oda puts in his native tongue. And of course any One Piece fan has learned one thing above all else: Patience. Oda himself included, it took over 20 years to get to 1000 chapters and we still have plenty of questions to ask, plenty of islands to see and thus plenty of chapters to go. So Straw Hats off to you Oda, and a happy 1000th!

Long Time Friend — Zoro x Reader

Summary: Zoro can’t believe he’s about to lose his long time friend shortly after finding you once again. So he jumps off a cliff to save you, as the memories of your history together hit him. He clings to every chance he has to save you. 

Story set shortly after Franky joins the crew. 

A/N: so, I guess this marks the end of my slumpy writer’s block, which is great XD I guess I just needed a couple of day of not doing anything. I didn’t go to work today and haven't left my house since saturday night. I can’t remember when was the last time I spent a sunday all day long in my pjs not doing shit for the entire day. I still have some Fluffvember requests pending XD I’ll deliver them all soon.

Time seemed to turn slow. A hundred times slower, the world almost felt like it had stopped spinning right there. The deafening screams of the crew surrounding you, as their captain’s eyes widened in realization and fear. 

Motionless and tired, Strawhat Luffy became aware of how the edge of the cliff was starting to fall. His opponent flat on the ground, just like him, with the slight difference that Luffy was still conscious. However, as much as the sudden urge to flee hit him, he did not move. He couldn’t. Using his powers stretching them to his limits always left him unable to move for a few minutes. However, he did not have a few minutes right now, otherwise, he was going to drown in the sea. 

Being the closest to Strawhat, you sprinted, running faster than ever. Sure, Luffy wasn’t your captain, you had nothing to do with the Strawhat crew, except for Zoro, your long time friend. And you knew, how much Luffy meant to him. How much Luffy meant to the whole crew. And how much Zoro cared about the crew. Your first instinct was to rescue Luffy for Zoro’s sake. 

Reaching him. Luffy shouted your name, as you quickly grabbed his vest, and with the adrenaline rushing through your body, effortlessly you lifted him and threw him to the stable ground. For a brief second, you'd forgotten about the deep bleeding cut on your leg as you propelled Luffy into the air, feeling the gravity pull you down, along with the falling edge of the cliff. 

Upon his realization,Luffy yelled your name once more, louder than ever, as he realized you were going to fall to the ocean instead. Risking your life for him. It all played in a painful slow motion in your eyes. Luffy’s eyes widening, his desperate voice, the ground underneath your feet disintegrating, and the roaring of the ocean getting louder and louder. Looking at the sky, you noticed the shade of blue, gently turning orange, thinking how the ocean had a completely different tone of blue. A blue that was about to swallow you mercilessly. 

You fell into the ocean. 

Zoro, who had not been there to witness your sacrifice, arrived to the scene, where everyone was now running towards the fragile edge of the ground. Careful not to fall. The splash of the ocean dissipating into the waves, leaving no trace that something even fell. 

“[Name]!” Luffy cried. 

“Luffy!” Zoro said running towards his captain, as Luffy’s eyes teared up. “What happened?”

“[Name]!” Luffy sobbed “She saved me” Zoro’s eyes quickly scanned his surroundings, however, you weren’t anywhere to be seen. However, before he could ask, Luffy continued. “She fell into the sea” 

His heart stopped at once upon hearing his captain’s voice. His blood suddenly turning ice cold, his feet began moving on their own, rushing him to the edge along with everyone else. He was going to save you before you drowned. 

“Back off!” He shouted as his crew mates looked back at him. 

“What is he…” Sanji began. 

Ussop, terrified of the look in Zoro’s eyes, along with his raging speed, he got away, giving Zoro an entrance. A small place where to jump from. 

And he did. It wasn’t the first time he was jumping off land to save a devil fruit user. And it was not going to be the last one. 

The memories quickly went through his mind, motivating him, fueling his desire to save you. From the moment you met at the dojo, and the many years you spent training together. To the time you became bounty hunter partners before Zoro lost his way. He was far too happy to have found you again by chance after leaving Water 7. It felt as if it was some sort of dream. You two coming across each other for the first time after almost a year of straying from each other. 

Not just that. You two hung out, drank together and caught up on your adventures and how the both of you ended on the Grand Line. You two fought together for the sake of the local town’s people, fighting, back to back, just like the old times. And it felt so good.

Falling into the ocean, Zoro’s eyes scanned the darkness, looking for any sign of you. Swimming deeper and deeper, he kept recalling the good memories. Zoro remembered the warmth your eyes held, and the vibrant smile that lighted your face. The tight hug you gave him when you found him in that island felt so refreshing, for a brief second, he felt like he had returned home. 

He held onto those memories as he finally spotted your drowning shape sinking lower and lower. Grabbing your wrist, he pulled you up, closer to him, wrapping his arm around your waist as he began to swim upwards.  

Finally reaching the surface, he breathed in deeply, catching his breath. 

“[Name]!” He shouted, breathing in once more. “Fucking stay with me, [Name]” He said looking around, looking for the shore. 

Once he felt the sand on his feet, he grabbed on tightly to your passed out body and carried you to the shore. A few feet away from the sea, he gently put you back to the ground, kneeling next to you and his fingers pressing on your neck, looking for a pulse. And noticing how you were not breathing, it suddenly became impossible to do as well. 

Feeling the soft beating against his finger, he quickly let go of your neck and opened your mouth gently, breathing in deeply, and giving you mouth to mouth. He pressed your chest a few times between breaths. His mind clouded with the worst outcome, feeling as if he was the one drowning now. 

He then noticed the bleeding on your leg, and in a quick attempt to stop it so he could continue giving you CPR, he tied his bandana around your leg. 

“C’mon, I just found you again, you can’t just leave me yet” He whispered before breathing out into your mouth once more. 

After pressing your chest a few more times, you coughed loudly, water splashing out of your mouth. At once, Zoro helped you roll on your side so you wouldn’t swallow the water as you kept violently coughing.

A particular burn on your throat and nose, as your sight was terribly blurry, your eyes soar as well. You tried to catch your breath but kept coughing, a little bit less with each second until you were finally able to take a deep, yet painful, breath. 

You sat on the sand, Zoro holding on to you, helping you sit up. He had his arm around your shoulders and his face close to yours. You looked up and met his dark eyes, looking at you with an endearment you very rarely saw in him. 

“Zoro…” You whispered, feeling your head light and your body as if you had been beaten up. 

Before Zoro could rest his forehead against yours, without a previous waning, you passed out. Your head fell against his chest as Zoro felt his heart race again with fear. 

“[Name]?” He said shaking you gently. “[Name]?!” He said once more however there was no answer “Dammit” He cursed carrying you “I have to take you to Chopper, right now” 

With you in his arms he started running, getting deeper and deeper into the jungle with a vague idea of where he was and where the town was. He did not know where he was going, and he was completely and utterly lost, however, he was lucky enough to find the town at once. Looking around for someone who could help him, up to this point he was more desperate for any doctor instead of Chopper specifically. 

In the other hand, as soon as the Strawhats saw how Zorro had recklessly jumped into the ocean, all of them rushed down the hill, and towards the closest shore. Frank carried Luffy over, as all of them ran, hoping to find the both of you safe and sound on the shore by the time they made it. However, the hill was quite tall, making them worry about how much time they were taking it go down and reach the town a the base of the hill and closer to the shore. 

Once in town, they could hear Zoro’s cry for a doctor. And following his voice, they found him with you, lying unconscious on his arms. 

“[Name]!” Chopper yelled. 

“Chopper!” Zoro answered. 

“Let’s take her to the Sunny! Now” The little reindeer ran, leading the way as the crew followed close behind. 

It took hours before you regained consciousness. Your eyes flickered open, taking a while to adjust to the faint light and to your surroundings. From a small window you could see how the sky was now dark when the last time you looked at it, it was starting to turn orange. Trying to sit up, you became aware of the bed you were in, the clean white covers and the couple of IVs you had. One coming from the veins in your hands and the other from your inner elbow. 

“[Name]” You heard the small reindeer say as he approached your bed. “You’re awake! How are you feeling?” 

You continued looking around, noticing the small details of the infirmary and ou quickly assumed you were in the Strawhats ship. There was a small couch by the door, and there was Zoro dozing off. However, that didn’t last, since he opened his eyes open upon hearing your voice answering the doctor. 

“I’m...fine” You said unsure. “What happened?” You asked noticing how the IV on your inner elbow was connected to a blood bag and you were actually receiving a transfusion. 

“You lost a lot of blood from the cut on your leg. You needed a transfusion…” 

“Whose blood…” 

“Mine” Zoro said before you could finish your question. 

“Realy? I didn’t know we shared blood group” You answered smiling shyly as he got up from the couch and walked towards the bed. 

“Me neither” Stopping next to your bed, he ran his hand gently through your hair “Chopper ran some tests and turned out I was a perfect candidate for a donation” 

“Thank you” You whispered reaching his other hand and squeezing it lightly, something Chopper noticed and grinned widely. 

“No need to thank me” He said squeezing your hand gently, as he looked into your eyes, glad to see them once more full of life as ever “How are you feeling?” 

“Better, thank you” You answered and Chopper continued to see how the two of you interacted with each other “Also thank you for saving me” 

“I’m leaving real quick, if you need something let me know” Feeling like he was suddenly crowding the room, he grabbed his small blue backpack and decided to hide in the kitchen for a few minutes and eat some candy. 

“Yeah,it was nothing. Fighting back then felt…” Zoro began, his voice softer than before. 

“Nostalgic?” You added, smiling gently, feeling your cheeks turn a delicate shade of pink. 

“Yeah, I little bit” Zoro agreed chuckling. 

The two of you exchanged stares for a few silent seconds. Something of unknown origin, urged Zoro to lean closer. And as he did, you quickly wrapped your arms around his shoulders, pulling him closer in another warm hug. 

“I missed you, Zoro” You whispered as Zoro hugged you back, tightly, gently squeezing you against him. 

“Me too” He purred.

“I thought I wasn’t going to see you again…” From the way your voice broke at the end, Zoro could tell you were close to crying any second now. 

“It’s alright now. I’m here with you” He comforted you as a few silent tears escaped your eyes and ran down your cheeks. 

Zoro broke the hug, still remaining close to you. The two of you once more looked into each other’s eyes, gazing into each other’s soul briefly before feeling the exact same impulse to kiss. Zoro first pressed his forehead next to yours before leaning closer to kiss you. 

His lips, warmed yours instantly in a gentle full kiss. Feeling the intention radiating through his lips almost as clear as words. You kissed him back, corresponding to the newfound attraction distance had apparently created between you two. Cupping his face in your hands, and Zoro’s arms still around you kept the two of you, cuddled into the gentle kiss.
