Not me thinking about making an updated ref sheet on Zora Ess, even though their current one is still fine. I just Think about the additional details I could have added I have a ref sheet problem

Blood is red bc of hemoglobin and it's iron wich allows it to carry oxigen. Iron oxidises red/orange

Dried blood is brown. Old bloodcells get tossed out with our stool, dying it reddish brown.

If someone headcanons Zora blush blue, then they don't have iron based blood,but copper because it oxidises blue/green. (Like horseshoe crab) Wich would dye zora stool blue/geen too

In My Life - Part 1

Hi! Here’s part 1 of a comic I’ve been wanting to do for the past 7 or 8 months and I finally got around to working on it. I can’t let go of the Champions and now you all get to bear witness to my unhealthy obsession :)

Zora armor, I have thoughts:

Let's start with Sky shall we. After his first silent realm trial he was gifted the water dragon scale. This allows him to freely swim around and do an underwater attack.

This scale over time likely lost some of its power and became the Silver Scale in OoT. The scale that lets Time hold his breath for longer under water. Now Time also had the blue tunic which let's him breathe for a long as he wants but he's not able to freely swim like Sky. He has to use his iron boots to just sink down or float back up.

I think it'd be neat if when the king of Zora's, when making Twilight's armor, combined the two. Using Times blue tunic but added the original dragon scale onto it so that Twilight could swim freely.

This design was Mipha's inspiration for making Wild's armor. Needing to make it fit a Hylian rather than a Zora, and the hero none the less. She couldn't find the original set which is why Wild can't hold his breath underwater but we love her and it's the thought that counts!

Basically, everyone really just be sharing/upgrading the same few items and yet being totally impressed by what everyone has.

I wrestled with these for a week BUT, a bunch of lore for Arctic Zora. Can you tell I've been super into speculative biology lately

Arctic Zora (or 'Titans' as they're more commonly known) are a clan of Zora which separated from their mainland ancestors a very long time ago, heading north towards the polar caps. They exist beyond the Hyrule continent and are divided from their inland cousins via a huge sea, but you can find them on travels around the region. They earned the term 'Titan' due to their much larger and far more robust size in comparison to the Zora of Hyrule, and often stick to the colder climates where they are more comfortable and less likely to suffer heatstroke.

These are just a small portion of notes I have on them, and I'd like to do more lore pages in this style!

One of my main loves is Legend of Zelda, I've gone so far as to rebuild the botw world for an au I made. Remaking zoras how I like them. So awhile ago I put Grian and Scar in that world in place of Link and Sidon Bluie suggested Scar be blue which works really well to make his green eyes pop I didn't take this further but if others want to pick it up please make sure to tag me I'd love to see!

The only bad thing would be trying to decide where to snuggle in... I wouldn't know who I'd want to cuddle close to the most! Make sure to take off your shoes and anything sharp or rough before joining the pile! (also pretend I drew in a bunch of pillows and blankets... I might have gotten a lil lazy towards the end)

Ayana's main old crew! When she ran away from her home and went to sea, she was picked up by a zora fishing crew. They would take her in and show her the ropes of fishing and harpooning! They were Ayana's friends and family for the longest time. They dont have names yet, but I'll figure it out at one point.

The zora crew are:

- A Bluntnose sixgill shark (middle, Is the Captain of the crew, oldest of the crew)

- An Atlantic Wolffish (upper left, is Captains right hand woman, second oldest)

- A Fireworks Jellyfish (upper right, third oldest)

- A Blueface Angelfish (lower right, second youngest)

- Then there's Ayana! (lower left, youngest of the crew)

@vaegtersang mentioned Zora yesterday, so I doodled a bunch :) still trying to figure out what I want swamp Link’s Zora to look like. The fellow in the bottom right corner of the first picture is the best example of my musings lol

They still need a little work I think, but I like the general vibe I ended up with! Think they need to look a little more swampy, but I’ve got a good base look at least. I mostly took inspiration from the albw Zora, as well as some concept sketches of the botw ones.
