Hello~! It’s been a really long time since I last posted on Tumblr, but I’m probably going to be more active here again (especially since Twitter is in shambles right now orz)~ Life has been a kick in the butt, but I have been working on a few projects that I’ve been wanting to work on, so hopefully my Tumblr blog will look alive (pun intended www) again! 

Let me kick the blog back up with a literal “Gift” translation~! Thank you to @melynir​ for requesting me for this drama! It is based on the plot of IveSta 6, but watching the stage isn’t really necessary to appreciate what the drama CD wants to convey ^^ IveSta 6 is divided into Growth and SOARA versions, but the drama applies to SOARA only, just in case you’re wondering where Growth and ZIX are.

Ivesta Season 2 Announcement

The Alive Stage twitter (@alive_stage) has announced the second trilogy of Ivesta shows which will be Episodes 4, 5, and 6. A ZIX stage play was also announced! Read below for show details and translations from the official twitter account. Separate posts for each show will be made as more details are released for each!

Episode 4: Wake Your Dreams! (WYD)

Date & Venue: February 4-14, 2021 at Hulic Hall Tokyo.

Info: “The leaders Sora and Koki are the centers! Running as a play-within-a-play, they will be performing the musical RE:WYD. John-san has taken existing ALIVE songs and re-arranged them specifically for this play as the theme songs. The Blue version of the play uses Soushi’s solo song, “Buzzer Beater,” and makes it a unit song for SOARA! The Green version uses a show-style arrangement of “Howl.” In this play-within-a-play, maybe you’ll get to see live songs and dances in a different style than the usual! Please enjoy watching Sora and Koki, as well as the rest of SOARA and Growth, as they take on a new challenge!”

Episode 5: Tsukino Hyakki Yakou Kitan: Heaven -Thou Shalt Not Die-*

*T/N: The Tsukino Hyakki Yakou (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons) AU was previously introduced in 2017. The secondary title of this play “Thou Shalt Not Die” is based on the title of poem with the same name by female Japanese poet, Yosano Akiko.

Date & Venue: September 2-12, 2021 at Tokyo Dome City Theater G Rosso

Info: “ 「I would die for you.」 This a tale of heavenly gods and bloody beasts. Morihito and Soushi are the centers for the Blue version, and Koki and Kensuke are the centers for the Green version. This is the ALIVE edition of the Tsukino Hyakki Yakou theme - a story about heaven and yokai that’s a little on the serious side.”

Kuro and Shiro -purgatorium- stage information

Since I have posted on my Twitter, I want to post it here to spread on the news! (You will see a copy-pasted content by me from my own thread).

Why you should be excited about Movic's original stage - Kuro & Shiro -purgatorium- if you're a fan of TsukiPro (or Identity V)! 

First of all, please look at this beautiful visual that is drawn by Natsuo-sensei (artist of Vazzrock).

Next is the cast!

The casts you might feel familiar with, and I will explain in detail a bit on this because they're the main reason why I'm into this We have Iwagana Tetsuya who played as Dan Kuroto from Kamen Rider Ex-aid. Miyazawa Yuu who acted as Hasumi Keito (EnStar stage).

We have actors from TsukiPro stages: Hirai Yuuki (Fuduki Kai), Iwasa Yuuki (Fujimura Mamoru), Shiozawa Hidemasa (Eto Kouki), Igarashi Takuto - Tact (Sugai Makoto from ZIX), Chiba Mizuki (Mikaze Roa actor(?) & seiyuu) and Hotta Ryuusei (Ohara Sora).

From Identity V stage: Hirai Yuuki (Aesop Carl), Kunishima Naoki (The White Guard), Tachibana Ryo (Lucky Guy), Suga Kyosuke (Norton Campbell), Ishikawa Ryuutaro (Kreacher Pierson) and Chiba Mizuki (Eli Clark).

The plot

The story plot is also interesting, here is my rough translation of the plot that is available on their website. All songs are composed by ZIZZ STUDIO, who created Tsukihana Kagura theme songs for TsukiPro AGF just now!

Stage info

They will perform in editions. Each character will represent a sin/blessing. Each show is a combination of two pairs of editions, but all the actors will appear in all performances. Based on the version, there will be two main characters in each part, a total of 4 main characters in one show. Here is the schedule

A (weird, maybe?) consistent thing that I’ve noticed within the drama cds and translations between Shiki, Shu, and Takaaki.

(I’m just going to go straight through it, no introductions here. The translations are all from Ryota-san who translated Takaaki’s drama cds  and Akemilena-san who translated SolidS’ drama cds.) This isn’t a a theory or anything like that, it’s just something that I’ve noticed and wanted to say but didn’t know where.

You see, Shiki and Shu (and Takaaki who's now part of TsukiPro) were all in a nationally-known idol unit before. And I was reading a drama cd translation about Takaaki, who's the leader of VAZZROCK, and ('former') friends with Shiki and Shu.

And I noticed something that they're been hinting at for a while now.

I first noticed it when I was reading SolidS' origin. 

But whenever Shiki, Shu, or even Takaaki mentions their former unit, they get gloomy- sort of. Like there's this thing that happened that made their memories of that unit turn bad(?). I understand Shiki and Shu's because during that time Shiki wanted to pursue his own style of music but he couldn't do that because he was restricted by following the unit's style of music and genre, so he couldn't really produce what he wanted; Shu, on the other hand, is the youngest within the group and saw Shiki as his older brother because Shiki was the closest to his age- being three years apart- and when Shiki told him that he'll be quitting the unit, it's pretty understandable that you'd feel sad because the person you look up to is leaving and feels like you're being left behind, all alone. 

But now, see, Takaaki, who's was in the same unit said something gloomy- like he doesn't want to talk about his previous unit. If he was affected by Shiki leaving too, then it's understandable since they seem to be pretty close (because in the tweet-conversation that they had, it's shown that they can still talk as if nothing happened between them at all, being chummy and all that) yet when I read the translations, it gave off this vibe as if he regrets something or that there's this heavy past that he (nor the other two) don’t really want to talk about.

Example no.1 about Takaaki giving off this regretful vibe:

And it's not just Takaaki, Shiki and Shu too. And Shiki was the first one to exhibit this.

Even in the anime, Shu talked about how he looked up to Shiki and how Shiki left the unit, it was even shown that he was affected by it.

But there's something else that they're not talking about.

Something much more that they'd rather ignore than acknowledge and I feel like TsukiPro is setting this up intentionally. 

There's even this scene:  

There's something that they're hiding. Or more specifically, something that they avoid particularly when it comes to their previous unit. And I understand that there may have been some instances where it the unit was internally falling- hell, Takaaki even said that it was complicated.

And I get that. But TsukiPro deliberately setting this up because if they set up that whole conflict with Koki, Ryota, and Kensuke, with ZIX then it isn’t far off to say they’re planning something with gathering the members from Shiki’s, Shu’s, and Takaaki’s former unit together. TsukiPro already has three out the six (was it six, shit I forgot) members of that nationally-known unit, what’s to say that they’re planning something bigger for them-?

I’m not saying that they all regret leaving their unit, but what I meant is that: Why does it seem like they’re implying that there’s a thing that they’ve left unfinished-?

- Honestly, this seems like a theory but it isn’t, I just wanted to voice something out that I’ve noticed for a while now and I felt bad because I’ve been bothering my friend about it (lol). They even kept on telling me how Takaaki might be lonely because unlike Shiki and Shu who has this sibling-like bond, Takaaki (as of now) had no one-? And my friend said that Takaaki seems like the type of person who puts a distance between himself and other people despite his easy-going and means well. (Our conversation about this whole thing, lol)

Anyway, if you read this up to here, then I give my applause to you *Claps* but honestly, this isn’t a theory or anything, just something that I wanted to say (lol).

Here we go~!! More ZIX content is always a good thing!!! I’m so glad that not only do they get more CD releases, but they got their own stage play, too~!! 

Now, the drama CD story is actually what happens in ZIXSta. Like, the exact words, exact scenario, everything! The only difference from the stage play are the daily specials (adlibs/jokes they do), and the inclusion of certain scenes from older Growth drama CDs~!

If you haven’t had the chance to watch the livestream, the drama CD is a good place-holder for what to expect! Honestly, the stage play just gives you 10000000000x more feels for Mitsuru because Riki was so good at portraying all the angst and hurt!! 

Either way, it’s a really good chance to get to know ZIX more as a unit~! I hope everyone enjoys (and cries) as much as I did~!

I’ve always wanted more ZIX to work on, and now TsukiPro/SunPro’s really been blessing us not only with one new single, but a whole album and even their own independent stage play!  I feel like it’s about time that these boys got the screentime they deserved to, you know~? ww
