I have a new second favorite Zayn and here's reasons #1-∞ why...

first off, for anyone who may have missed it liam participated in Soccer Aid this week and made a new friend with an old name. enter tiktoker & youtuber zaynqf, who makes football content but was clearly fangirling over liam (much like another zayn we know lmao) 😆

...BUT things really popped off when zayn(qf) made a post including a caption with a punny joke about himself and liam (included in the screenshots below)

as they do, fans reacted and the result was...interesting 😏

and then just to make sure what was seemingly being implied by zayn(qf) was crystal clear someone else followed up and...

THEN as if to double down on his chaotic and downright egregious behavior (sir! we were not prepared!) AND add fuel to the already deliciously burning fire, he proceeded to view (and even like) posts from other ziams' stories

there may be even more of these, i'm not sure, but these are just the ones i happened to see (if people have screenshots of more of him creeping on ziam posts please do feel free to send them in so i can add them to this post lol!)

anyways, in conclusion, I have a new second favorite zayn and now you all do too. let's welcome our new surrogate captain of this beautiful ship warmly! 😜🏳️‍🌈

My whole thing is this: This happened in front of an entire camera crew, who then kept it in the commercial that aired worldwide.

No one else is standing as close as they are together, because that’s just what Zayn and Liam do, disregard all personal space. Then Zayn takes it upon himself to rub Liam’s chest. With Modest breathing down their necks, I seriously doubt the director told Zee to do that.

He just did it. So the crew was A.) dense enough to think that was a friendly gesture, B.) oblivious enough not to notice, or C.) too done with them, because THIS was the LEAST sexual take of the bunch.

But either way we get Zayn plastered onto Liam’s back like a koala, rubbing his chest and nipples for the entirety of the free world to see.

Y’all do realize, that whether or not Ziam was or is official, that’s not a platonic gesture whatsoever. I’m not gonna just rub against someone’s chest that I’m not interested in or haven’t done something with. Most people wouldn’t. Let alone for an audience of millions.

And before anyone says anything about how they’ve all grabbed each other’s nipples and the like. THAT is not the same! There’s a playfulness with rest of them. This is just straight up ‘what can I get away’ with lust.

That’s for me the most Ziam-proving gif: In the last part Zayn knocks himself against Liam’s back. Ok, so far, but then, he slides his hand down Liam’s chest, over the nipples, and that’s… you just dont do that i an asexual way.

I do that, with my husband. Not with my brother or my friends or a sexy guy in a club. When Im drunk out of my mind and in a touchy mood, I might prod somebody’s muscles, on the upper arm, but not like that. At all.

It’s so… comfy and sort of familiar, what Zayn does.

very often see posts about how the one direction fans grew up to be formula one fans, and the more I think of it, the more it makes sense. putting aside the fact that almost all my f1 friends were 1d fans (were ? are lol), it makes sense that a fandom who's fuel was hyperfixating on boys living out their dreams shifted from one form of it to another.

tha being said, it got me thinking - how do the girlies translate to f1 ? and by girlies i mean what your kpop fan would call a "bias". for example, if i was a niall girl - who's my favourite now ?

so here's a silly little non-sensical analysis and comparison that should not be taken seriously at all :

firstly, the zayn malik girlies are definitely lewis hamilton girlies. both zayn and lewis come from humble backgrounds, were subject to vile, inhumane racial discrimination and hate - all while being arguably the most talented in their respective fields (I mean, you've heard zayn's high note in you & I, and seen lewis' 7 world championships). they're hardworking, pet-loving, very fashionable men who stay out of unnecessary spotlight for the most part, and step out once in a while to remind the world they're drop-dead gorgeous. the zayn girls are safe with lewis.

next comes liam payne - and here on you'll have to hear me out with my comparison of every racer and bandmate. liam and george russell are both aggressively british, unapologetically goofy and true to themselves (and i'm talking about liam in 1d not the one on logan paul's podcast). they're both very talented, highly regarded in their boss' eyes (toto wolff and simon cowell - this post is going to be interesting wow) and still somehow not an immediate fan favourite. this comparison also goes wonderfully well with the whole ziam and britcedes parallels.

thirdly, louis tomlinson. easy peasy. max verstappen. both incredibly blunt, dry humour, pr nightmares, do not give two single hecks. people either love them, or hate them - no in between. both incredibly talented individuals (louis wrote majority of 1d's discography, max has 3 world championships under his belt) and yet are discredited ("louis is only famous cuz of his bandmates and the band itself" and "max just had a good car"). the zayn and louis fued also parallels abu dhabi 2021 quite well aye ? (i'm going insane)

harry styles, no debate. charles leclerc - regarded as the pretty boys (the prettiest, their fans would insist i'm sure) and the most popular, the well-liked. both extremely talented without a doubt, but a little bit overrated, and victimised to glorify and support fan narratives. i know i sound like a hater - forgive me, not my intention. i like them both as individuals - their fans on the other hand (and no, not all, i know) are so blind-sided, so insane and cause so much unpleasantness on the internet. almost ironic, how the most amicable ones have the least liked fans lol. that aside though, if you were a harry girl, chances are you went from one fan-favourite to the other. i also just realised - this supports the larry and lestappen narratives - am i genuinely, honestly onto something here ? (i absolutely am not)

lastly, niall horan. now this one i'm sure will divide you all, but here you go anyway. lando norris. both babied immensely by their fans and bandmates/teammates alike - churchboy persona. the moment they shed the insecurity, suddenly bam everyone hates them (niall's mofo t-shirts, lando's frat boy tendencies, and saying things that the internet will not find funny), promising at a young age, yet somehow grew up to be called overrated. their fans are stubbornly loyal to them, defending them through all their rights, and wrongs. it makes sense to me. one smiley boy to another.

this probably makes no sense - but feel free to add your own comparisons, theories, and notes ! there's 5 of them and 20 on the grid, obviosuly disparity for me to go on and on and on about (for example, I see a little zayn girls to carlos girls pipeline, louis to fernando - oldest boy syndrome and all that) so let me know ! let's yap :)

there’s quite the convo that was going on on twitter today, which is super interesting to me, because it’s brought up often and usually from newer members to the fandom, particularly solos. we’ve been talking about this for years. so… idk, let’s talk.

this convo is of the gist that Larries made Harry and louis stop interacting due to our interest in them being together. we, apparently, are the ones who made either mgmt, or Harry and Louis themselves, entirely separate and go from best friends to absolutely nothing. and when I say absolutely nothing, like… they were so distanced it was ridiculous.

but here’s the thing… if you weren’t around at the time (there’s no issue with that btw!), ziam was the second biggest ship after larry. A bunch of Larries shipped ziam, and a lot of larry antis shipped ziam, as well as ziam having their own following regardless of larry. And yes, I was there, so im fully aware ziam wasn’t as big as Larry, but they were definitely a close second as far as “ships” go. there was also narry, zarry, lilo, and all the others, but larry and ziam dominated.

But… funnily enough, ziam weren’t separating due to a large speculation of them being in a relationship. it was printed and posted in multiple formats that zayn had said in an interview he told Liam to kiss him and he did (early days, yes), and they really gave off relationship vibes for a long time there, but they were still close and interacting very lovingly throughout the entirety of 1d. and regardless of your stance on ziam, they were clearly very close.

The thing with this is, is that gay rumours can be harmful to a fanbase with a demographic of young women, who the idea is to make the band desirable for women to be with to keep them interested etc., we’re all aware of that, but why wasn’t ziam separated? why weren’t all the boys asked to be super straight with each other? why was it so intense with larry?

Because if you don’t have anything to hide, you don’t hide anything. ziam still were carrying on in front of our faces while larry went through a multitude of stunts (that antis and now some solos also believed were stunts), and were so strictly kept apart that it was blindingly obvious something was going on. To make it seem the most real, you’d have all the boys being laddy bro pals with one another. but it was specifically larry who were extremely drastically pushed apart. of course there was no public “fight” printed to give us a reason as to why they became so far apart (that would signal an end to the band and worry etc.) to make sense of it, but they just were forced in their own lanes. anyone with two eyes can see that, and you could easily tell if they hated each other or not. but the small moments they did interact, showed us otherwise.

anyway, it’s very important to note that ziam did not stop being ziam regardless of the rumours, but larry did stop being larry drastically. they’re not homophobes, they weren’t scared of encouraging the rumours (AIMH and all the playful tweets and interactions), but they were clearly separated when larry kept being talked about further down the track. and if you can’t see that, well you may need to reevaluate and use some critical thinking. it’s happened before 1d too, it’s not rocket science.

anyway, sorry for the rant. it’s just frustrating when I see this convo when we’ve had it over and over again. so, for all the newer larries,if you haven’t already, take this into consideration as one of the very biggest pieces of larry evidence we have. because, well, it is. it may seem insignificant as it’s not a “moment”, but rather it’s a long and ongoing piece of evidence that there was something to hide, so they hid it. and they still do.

how do you navigate your feelings towards ziam and cheryl/bear/kate/maya on top of this immense grief? i don't mean to be insensitive but i haven't found an answer for myself yet, i can't believe we'll never get answers now

(To anyone seeing this, read until the end before saying anything thank you.) Well. I'm gonna ramble a bit but bear with me. Spotify played Let Me and Common on shuffle the other day and I cried a bit. It's unfair. It should've never ended this way. But I had already accepted ages ago that we might never know the truth. I still have my beliefs. That Zayn and Liam were together. Maybe they had broken up who knows but if they did then I still truly believe their bond was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I've gone through so many emotions this past week. But seeing the posts of cheryl etcetc or people mentioning bear (Zayn was the only one who didn't fwiw), it didn't make me feel anything. Maybe bc I had already accepted we couldn't do anything about the stunts, and/or maybe bc it's still difficult for me to accept he's really gone or bc it doesn't matter to me at this moment. Or bc I haven't actually sat down to think about what it means that he's gone. I've just been thinking of the pain all of Liam's loved ones are in right now and will be in for the foreseeable future. And I include Zayn in this. I also don't really want to think about it bc I think I might get angry. We've all seen Liam's video on snapchat from last month, where he said he was stunting and forced to do things he didn't want to do and to send help. I often used to say that I didn't understand why the boys accepted this situation instead of just getting out, consequences be damned. Ofc it's easier said than done. But I thought maybe they thought it was worth it in some way. But then, Louis got out. Zayn got out. (In some way, I mean they have privacy and a real career, like Niall and Harry). I guess I will never understand why Liam was still the only one so stuck in this shitty situation. Why couldn't he live his life in peace like Zayn and only appear when he released music? Why couldn't he find a better team or why did he even accept to go along for so long? Why did people let him? Why?! That's what I want to know. Fucking why. And I want Liam's image/reputation to be redeemed. Anyway I digressed I'm sorry.

I just sincerely hope Zayn will be ok. Jaymi who was in Union J lost his soon-to-be-husband a couple months ago (Olly was buried the day they were supposed to get married last month). They'd been together for 14 years. And Olly died in similar circumstances (a fall from the 3rd floor of a hotel). And as incredibly awful as this is, knowing that other people are going through similar grief helps a bit, and I hope it will help Zayn and Liam's loved ones know they're not alone. (Edit: I'm not saying these deaths are linked, Olly's death is an accident, Jaymi was there when it happened. This paragraph is about not being fully alone in grief because other ppl go through similar things).

Idek if I've answered your question. I guess basically the stunts don't cross my mind coz it's not important to me. These past few years when Liam was alive it wasn't important (tho I hated it) bc I accepted the boys made their own choices. And now it's not important bc it won't bring Liam back and bc his loved ones matter more to me. Now, if I'm actually wrong about my beliefs then it is what it is and I feel for his exes/gf/child, and if the maya thing is true I still think addiction made him act that way and that if he'd got a chance to really get better this wouldn't have happened again. If I'm not wrong tho, I truly feel for Zayn who doesn't get to grieve the way he deserves to. Tho I'm glad he has loved ones who know the truth and who can support him the right way.

OH MY GOD ok so like..i’m neutral on ziam right..aka i’m doing research lol..and i watch videos on youtube you know like the story of ziam and stuff and i was waiting for that jaw dropping moment of like…yes it’s real omg and i just got to the part of zayn “cheating” on perrie and he said the don’t let the bitches steal your phone thing. the video said “he’s strongly implying that the pictures were stolen from someone’s phone” and my brain went ‘liam’ and THAT WAS ITTT

Blog rules still apply so someone got a block just now, but I’ve now had a few anons (still with the anons as grown ups..) about whether I was wrong about the beards and the PR fakelationships, so I’m going to address this ONCE and only once.

I believe 1D had beards. People having beards doesn’t mean they need to hate the beard, especially when you mature and realize that any relationship with another person is complex, and you did go through something unique together. So Danielle and Cheryl indicating they care about Liam doesn’t mean they didn’t exploit the partnerships to their own benefit, or that there was respect and even love there.

Also, when death happens, people change their tune. Just look at all the people in this fandom who shat on Liam (I have receipts) who now are claiming he was amazing and are even leading fundraisers and organizing memorials for him. It could be maturity, or it could be the collective grief and need to do something.

I believe that Ziam and Larry were real relationships. Could I be wrong, of course. I was not with those boys 24/7 through the years (nor was anyone in this fandom. We were just interpreting things we saw). And none of us know their sexual identities. I’ve said this for years that we were all guessing.

These boys were thrown into 1D as kids, and had to navigate becoming men and romance with those around them. They had a unique love for each other, and anyone blessed to have close friendships know that lines can be crossed and those can be the strongest relationships when romantic. But they can also be intense when feelings change. And I do think both relationships have ended. Larry long ago, and Ziam after that. That’s life, and life is complicated.

Again, these boys are normal people who had an extraordinary experience together; one where they were scrutinized and only each other could understand.

I’ve said before that anyone can have a kid, and I think that Freddie and Bear and Kai are real. In this day and age, you need a woman to carry a baby, after contributing the egg. This can happen naturally, via a one-night stand or a relationship, or in vitro. I wasn’t there so I don’t know but I always found hating on the innocent children very wrong, and hated when the Larries said inhumane things about poor Freddie, who did indeed look like Louis to me.

So could I be wrong on all counts, yes. I always said anyone in the fandom who claims to know what the truth is about the boys is an absolute liar.

There was an absolute fond between these boys, and the secret touches of their hands is NOT a platonic move. It’s one of comfort; a tender moment between two people who care about each other. It was just caught on camera, but it wasn’t meant for us to see it.
