in your au is zecora an earth pony, or does a different species such as a zebra or something closer to donkeys/asses exist? how does zecora, coming from a foreign land, feel about giant gods walking around everywhere - is this a new sight for her, a complete surprise or perhaps something whispered about in tales in her lands, or is there something similar to living, giant where she is from and in other regions as well?

There are many sentient species in the world beyond the main 3 "ponies" which are not all equines. Earth ponies are horses, unicorns are a species of deer, and pegasus share a common ancestor with griffins.

Horses, pegasus, and unicorns are only considered one species socially, because they can interbreed due to compatible chromosomes. However, the foal will always be either a horse, pegasus, or unicorn with no physical traits from the other species. It will be fully one thing or another, as will its children.

Zebras and donkeys are not earth ponies (horses) but they are closely related enough that they can hybridize with them. Non-horse "ponies" (pegasus and unicorns) cannot hybridize with zebras/donkeys. Hybrid offspring within the equines are sterile.

Unicorns can breed freely with horses and pegasus, as well as their relatives, the Kirin. Kirin/unicorn hybrids are sterile. They cannot breed with zebras/donkeys/griffins.

Pegasus can breed freely with horses and unicorns, but cannot breed with kirin, zebras, or donkeys. Pegasus can breed with griffins, and their offspring are known as hippogriffs, which are not sterile and have grown to create an entire new species. They have hybrid vigor and grow larger than either of their ancestor species.

Zecora is not surprised to see Celestia, as she carries the sun around the entire planet, including her home continent. Celestia is known through the world, and worshiped in some way or another through most of it.

Before and after her imprisonment in the moon, Luna is also known throughout the world as the bringer of night and keeper of dreams.

There are other gods besides alicorns. In Zecora's homeland, there are four great trees that stretch into the sky. These trees are actually the legs of Boabab, God of Life. Many thousand years ago, Boabab walked among Zecora's people, before its long neck stretched into the heavens to look for life among the stars. This god is much older and taller than Celestia, so Zecora was not particularly overwhelmed upon seeing her or any of the smaller princesses.

Other regions also have gods, but ponies tend to only care about equestria and often do not believe other species are important enough to become gods.

It's been a few weeks since the odd disappearences: Lyra, DJ pon3 and even Mr Filthy rich himself went missin'. Apparently these ponies (and colt) were last seen entering or getting near everfree forest.

I went searching for Zecora since, well, mah sister got sick and She and some of her friends, hell, even Applebloom said that she'd might help.

So, I was makin' my way there's, I was prepared for anythin' when I suddenly heard something.. Something wrong

Then, I saw her.

Her description matched the mare that I was looking for but something was deeply wrong.

Why did she look so...

It Fluttershy time 🫶 I love the previous design I did for her but it is goddamn near unrecognizable so I wanted to redo her too.

Lore mostly the same... Werewolf pony witch from the far north! Even in her full pony form she can't get rid of all her wolf traits, most noticeably her eyes. That's how the stare works actually, the eyes of a large predator instinctively spook most animals and even other ponies. And it is why she usually avoids eye contact (which isn't that hard for her really, autism powers be crazy) and covers her eyes with her mane.

She kind of takes Zecora's role in MLD AU, Fluttershy the scary pony from the woods that talks weird and knows all the nature lore. Zecora herself isn't gone though, don't worry fellow zebra enjoyers. She just lives in ponyville now and is a well-known pharmacist everybody goes to for medicine and therapy.

In search of safety

I haven't gotten around to writing the royalty update on my last lore bit, but I wanted to start on where my oc comes into play. Not entirely self-insert, this AU has storytelling background based in very old role playing from upwards of 10 years ago.

Here are some notes on how this pairing came to be:

This AU takes place after an alternate ending to the Canterlot Wedding (not my writing, the original rp was not something I had any say in at the time. The following is based off very old Tenebris Dawn forum posts) -Cadance and Shining Armor did not stay together after Queen Chrysalis's takeover. Shining failed to rise to the occasion in her defeat and was quickly denied at the altar. Cadance was disappointed in how things played out, and sought out solitude after the traumatic experience. Shining Armor left to stay with Twilight after these events.

-Twilight was tired of Shining's depressed freeloading and pushed him to socialize around ponyville and find some friends. Word had gotten around as to why he was here, and it quickly turned away a lot of potential companions. He did find his place with Big Mac, Spike and Discord after awhile.

-Feather Blade originated in the Everfree forest. (her lore has changed to match her form as a pegasus but this was all written in 2014) She was (possibly) left at Zecora's hut as a newborn and grew up learning the ways of the forest from a very young age. Made friendly with the timber wolves, understands many basic to advanced survival skills, and gained a well fitted immune system for life in the woods.

-Being somepony detached from petty pony drama, Feather was completely unaware of Shining's late status and relationship history. He was enamored by her lifestyle, being someone who grew up in a more upper class environment. They bonded after many of his attempts to flatter her, and eventually he took to staying in her hut more often than staying with Twilight.

-Feather didn't initially have a proper understanding of romance, but she knew what emotional abuse was. (was held captive as a slave "lover" by a stallion with a darkened heart, also directly based off 2014 rps) Whatever Shining was, he wasn't a threat or a burden. She didn't understand what she felt for him until after a widespread infection broke loose. She's been working hard to keep him safe ever since.

-Shining has done his best to keep Feather protected, but hasn't had much strength since getting bitten by some strange creature. Feather was able to collect some supplies to keep them both healthy shortly before the hut was overrun. She keeps him medicated, and no infection has taken root. They're both currently on the move to find shelter and refuge in a safer area of Equestria.

-Feather and Shining have only briefly made contact with Discord prior to him taking off with Fluttershy. Nopony else knows their whereabouts. The two of them have avoided most populated areas in trying to steer clear of infected. Feather has been able to take sky watch for short periods of time to see if areas of civilization are safe, but quickly returns to stay with Shining. So far their travels have yielded no reward, but hope is not lost.

(seto in specific because he's the one i've thought most about and have seen a lot for different interpretations of)

seto lives in the forest far away from many after the end of his village which taught him magic. he lives outside any full civilization and has since he was a preteen. He spent the time studying and learning, to which be became a harpy as result of. he slowly grew back into human civilization as people began leaning on him for help with various magical ailments or situations requiring help. (think like. zecora from my little pony!)

see in my scenario at some point in magic usage, your magic will change your body. that is a natural process, sort of like how sharpening a blade changes its angle! your magic needs the best possible vessel to be truly used to its potential and it WILL find it. magic is a tradeoff in that sense. as such, the further you get into it, the more the changes happen. its not overnight its over several years but CANNOT be undone.

he is very separated from most of humanity, not really having any friends for a while and not seeking contact, in his teenage years he was entirely focused on magic and learning how to wield it. this devotion was something developed within his childhood as he saw how his magic lashed out and was very capable of hurting people, and being recomended to hone in his magic and slowly grow to weild it- eventually connecting the ideas of 'studying magic' with 'being safer to be around'. in these teenage years he neglected his own physical health beyond what would allow him to continue practicing, barely noticing the small changes happening around him and inside of him. by the time he connects the changes in his body to a form he is too far in and much too emotionally reliant on the structure studying and practicing gives him to give up.

okay uhm. hold on im gonna ramble here abt harpy seto simply because i need to tell someone else about this headcannon of mine. in my headcannon, he was born and raised human, just with magic (think of like how evokers have their own society who contains magic users. like that) but his magic happened in a way that caused his body to change to be more birdlike. harpys are NOT an actual species in my headcannon, more one of those 'creatures beyond god' that were originally something else but became that way due to some magical means. think werewolves or manticores or liches. theyre a condition, not a species to themselves, if they were to reproduce itd cause whatever creature the parent started as.

as a kid specifically his magic was simply very chaotic and hard to control, firing off at random moments usually in fear or anger. as seto was a kid who happened to have very big emotions and big magic potential, these could cause occasional lashes out beyond his control. in turn he was encouraged to study and hone in on his magic in order to not hurt anyone. this had the unfortunate side effect of teaching him the basic idea of studying = being safer to be around and viewing his magic as a sort of curse that kept him isolated from others.

in turn, as he tapped into more and more of his magic potential- his body slowly became more and more adept to take the magic and wield it better, changing the patterns of his growth and general composition of his body. (like how dancers joints adjust and change to different levels of strain than the average persons, but to a bigger scale.)

magic tends to adjust the body, thats normal and expected within magic use. his own tendency to neglect his physical needs caused him to not really notice the small things like feathers in his bed and hair all the time till eventually one day it did suddenly strike him as odd that his hands were more claw-like, that even if his nail polish he used to stop himself from biting his nails chipped, that his nails never broke and had sharpened into neat pointy ends. these changes culminating in him waking up in the middle of the night covered in blankets sweating his ass off just. as a fucking bird thing.

the fear ignited in a fight or flight response, even though there was nothing really to fight against. after that faded, the disgust and fear quickly set in. the fear of what his peers would think, the fear of all of these new sensations, how he would hide it, if he could even turn it off at all or would be stuck like this. as he calmed down and settled in the best he could with what in his mind was some terrible curse, he learned he COULD turn it off! or mitigate it, but only if he stayed calm. (again, magic is really just an extension of ones instinct to protect themselves, a bodily reaction to fear)

I wasn't sure if you wanted my reasoning for, like, each individual or just an overview of the process, so I have elected to spare you most of the yapping. :V

Some have specific reasons for being the species or races they are, mostly to accomodate different cultures, for lore or to utilise a theme of the original character--some perhaps for multiple of those reasons--but I some definitely ended up with the designs they did, mostly because it looked/sounded right to me and because I wanted a little more variety than just ponies, even if the primary setting is the pony-nation of Equestria, and for the pony population to be divided more or less equally.

In the meantime, I am trying to avoid personality-driven design choices in regards to the different species because I will eternally be put off by how Gen 4 chose to handle its non-pony species (the yaks deserved better </3). This is a little different on the pony race front, because we have, like… a history for each of the main three pony races, and thus it's easier to assume or determine what "common personality traits" may actually be cultural values that were held over--resilience and reliability for earth ponies, intellect for unicorns, and courage and stamina for pegasi. But, like, again, not something that needs to be strictly adhered to, but it is a point of reference.

I think about MLP and this AU too much, can you tell? /rh

Otherwise, pony race decisions were about as sophisticated as "I like this design". That being said, the icorporation of other pony kinds--bat ponies, crystal ponies and kelpies*--was a little more deliberate and lore based. (Even though it's likely "bat ponies"--as in Luna's guards, not Flutterbat--may not actually be a race of pony and instead only be regular pegasi and that may just be what the armour of Luna's guards looks like, since we see Rainbow Dash with the same "bat wings" in The Cutie Re-Mark's Nightmare Moon timeline, but they're iconic to the fandom. </3)

*Note: I think kelpies are a kind of pony, as far as MLP is concerned? I mean, they have cutiemarks, which is explained to be a pony trait. But then again, so does Zecora and she is not a pony, so...????

Beyond the ponies though...

The changelings of the AU are characters who have a notable or difficult relationship with their sense of self or their identity, and their relationships, since that seems like it'd be of a little concern to a species that inherently spends part of their life cycle, and a significant part of their history adopting the identities of other creatures, to parasitically feed off of the love in their environment.

The other species that have a smaller presence are mostly either utilised for lore/backstory purposes or to suit the identity or theming of the character, and sometimes just for plain, silliness reasons.

I find it weird that Zecora was the only Zebra in the show, they had all those races and forgot about Zebras, considering having cutie marks show us they may look different but they are a pony type with its own culture. not the best maybe, but would be better than the buffalo stuff

i didnt read the comics but my girlfriend is a huge mlp comic lore nerd and from what ive heard zebras get way more development there and its a shame it was never brought into the show

There would be fewer alicorns I can tell you that much!!! Cadence can stay ig with some alicorn lore building but it's all over for Twilight and Flurry Heart. Twilight stands up to Princess Celestia, rejecting alicornhood, and it's incredibly painful for both of them but necessary for the growth of their relationship. She can become an alicorn later on her own terms out of necessity, but it's in a "mad science" way where she bioengineers the ascension and has these horrendous muscular fleshy wings she grew herself that Rainbow is super jealous of. NO changeling redemption. Maybe like, one (Thorax) can be redeemed as a lame-ass Buddy-type bug guy that Twilight keeps trying to integrate into the gang. No one really likes him but they also don't want to look racist ever since the Zecora thing. Queen Chrysalis stays evil but can have a two-part "enemy of my enemy" episode with Celestia as a treat where they have to band together to defeat a mutual nemesis. And she like, bites Fluttershy or punts Spike or something at the end to show she's still evil. Spike indentured servitude arc (happy ending). Pinkie Pie moonlights as Mare Do Well with more brutal methods unbeknownst to her friends (they never find out). Sunset Shimmer appears in the main series and keeps her real cow-leather jacket and it's problematic.

So in g1 there was a villian named erebus he was a cloud demon who could eat shadows to become more powerful and so he was trying to eat as many shadows as possible to dominate the world

He ended up recruiting a zebra named zeb by promising him wealth (zeb only cared about making money and he would do anything to make more money) together these two were able to convince a naive earthpony named Knightshade into signing a contract with them by promising to make him into the greatest most successful rock star in the world

Of course the catch to this was that each of Knightshade's concerts were in truth a way for erebus to get more and more shadows (and the tickets were making zeb money), so while Knightshade was getting insanely popular he was starting to regret signing the contract and looking for a way out

So Knightshade asks for help from the Williams and their pony friends and they get together to defeat Erebus

DayDreamBreeze. also my original gamertag on minecraft! i uhm. shes not supposed to be a cheese changling. She's inspired by a fluttershy toy i had and the beautiful artwork for the honey queen chrysalis from ink rose's interpretation of her backstory. i swapped the honey for water and she's supposed to be a pegasus? but i drew her as a changling here for some reason and i have no clue why

Casey Cockatrice. Seeing pony youtubers discuss the show in their oc form, and thinking "wow, they're all just pegasi" i was like "i should do that but not be a pegasus" so i made an oc and never did that lol. probably a good thing though. anyhow. Casey was originally supposed to be an angel cockatrice but I didn't know how to do that without just making a chicken with a lizard tail until just now im realizing i should make it a dutchie omg. Casey enjoys the ponies and wants to befriend them but is confined to the everfree forest, so she has dawned a blindfold so she doesnt hurt anyone and she likes to hang out with zecora and collect herbs with her. she still just kinda does chicken/dragon things most of the time like pecking at the ground and sitting on treasure. The ring in her comb is supposed to be a halo. halos stuck in the character's design physically (usually through the hair or something similar) was a common thing i did for characters that were close to me at the time.

Lemon Lily. She is. very bright. she was supposed to have a much more subtle color palette but i didnt do that and now she looks like sprite lmao. anyhow. i drew her randomly when i went through a small mlp phase a few years ago, mainly just attraction for chrysalis, but i guess she exists. her cutie mark is supposed to look like a water lily made of lemons but it kinda just looks weird idk. i'd say her talent is supposed to be like.. maybe floral arrangement? i think i had some inspiration from early mlp background ponies and i remember the florists were my favorite.

JASON!! my favorite little idiot. he's a griffin i made in pony.town after realizing if i use the singular freckle and closed the eyes, it looked like he had tiny eyes and angry brows lol. all i do with him is act vaguely like skydoesminecraft and boop people with my bird fingers.

Honey Suckle. The only OC that I have surviving evidence of actually writing their backstory and whatnot. They were created with the idea of them experimenting on their body trying to turn themselves into a bee (basically beeatris as a horse, i know none of you know my persona beeatris but its pretty much her without the demonic activity and disney fairy influence), though i have thought of maybe changing it to her wanting to become a breezy or a changeling. She lost her horn because of this experimentation and is fluffier and has patches of hair on her eyes because of it. i forgot if she had a cutie mark or if i just didnt draw it or if it's overgrown? I think a lot of this character's experimentation was based off of memories of my brother who had leukemia and tried experimental treatments, mainly the fuzziness he got from his chemo or steroids i forgot which one it was. I also drew her as a kirin, idk if that was supposed to be a thing of like.. me doing it as an alternate idea of what she's aiming to achieve, as an alternate form of what she was born as.. or if it was just a doodle.. but it was pretty cool. a good quote for her is the vine thats like "i am a wolf on all levels but physical"

Next is Pegasus. I originally had a different name for them but i don't think i can share it here. Pegasus is also related to my brother though and is very cool. they're really just a celestial body as a pony like Celestia and Luna, but with more of a crystal pony inspiration. also, they speak enchanting table only and i think thats really funny. same size as Luna. also, she can hide in Luna's hair.

Stone Hoof. based somewhat off of Smokey Quartz from Steven Universe, i thought it'd be cool to also give them speckling like an appaloosa horse or vitiligo. you can't see their cutie mark but it's supposed to be a yoyo and i put it in the shape of the symbol of leo since im a leo and i designed them on the same day as pegasus lol. they are intended to be a friend to Honey Suckle.

Finally, we have... I didn't name this one actually. uhm. well! it looks kinda like scootaloo, especially g3 or 3.5. which was unintentional but she was one of my favorite ponies and i had a few toys of her so it kinda makes sense that this is what my brain thought of when i thought "well loved my little pony doll". The hair is based off of the fettucine hair on those g4 plushies and also somewhat based on dreads. the patterns on their hooves is the heartshaped horseshoe from those promotional toys where you can scan them in for video game perks. and the wings are colored after discord's wings. I also got inspo from Stitches from Animal Crossing.

hi my name is eight (he/him) i am 20 years old and i was a fan of g3 and g4 mlp as a child and got back into mlp last year. generally i do not consider g5 to be a well developed franchise but i am fascinated with the concepts and implications it loves to never expand on and it has taken over my brain. unsurprisingly in real life i study political science

my favourite g5 character in terms of personality is actually izzy but i am obsessed with pipp's fluffy wings despite disliking her as a character. some side characters i like are alphabittle, onyx, violette rainbow from the comics, and comics-discord. if it matters my favourite g4 characters were pinkie pie, maud pie, zecora, and vinyl scratch

ok, so the Deer can't grow plants all by themselves, but they do use potions (like Zecora) as magic to grow plants. They live in harmony with nature :)

(note that the magic didn't create the tree- that was already there, just knocked over. the vines were created to lift it back up & create a bridge over the the gorge.)

in the comic, you'll notice Blackthorn (dark brown deer) says that they use potions like zebras do. But this was later retconned in the season 10 run when we visited Zecora's land, Farasi, and found that she is the only zebra who's used potion magic. They changed this so that Zecora could be inspired by Mage Meadowbrook, as Zecora wanted to use magic too. (they also said that's why she rhymes all the time, because she wants to be ready to cast a spell whenever necessary. ofc, this is lore given near the end of a 100+ comic run, so none of this is canon in the main mlp universe/show lol)

Enigma/The Riddler (Edward Nygma)

Intelligence and puzzle-solving are deeply valued among sphinxes, and those who fall short of their standards are often ridiculed and cast out. Among some (prejudiced) Sphinxes, other sapient, non-Sphinx species such as ponies are looked down-upon or seen as fundamentally inferior for not putting as much stock in puzzles and the like as sphinxes do.

Enigma, though considered a prodigy for his remarkable intelligence and skill with puzzles even among his fellow Sphinxes, was ostracized when a pony unfamiliar with Sphinx culture (a younger Sundown traveling Equestria for his training), humiliated Enigma by unraveling a puzzle of his that was meant to be judged as his final submission in a prestigious event, permanently staining his reputation and wounding his massive ego.

After years of quiet ridicule from his peers and his own growing obsession over the event, Enigma eventually snapped and fled to Gotham for revenge. His contempt has since spread far beyond that of the original pony he wished to prove his superiority over, and he now makes all of Gotham the target of his obsessive schemes, constantly trying to prove his superiority and feed his ego by putting ponies through his elaborate puzzles and riddle-based traps. He sees Batpony’s skill and determination in foiling him as both an inherent challenge to and a slight against his own abilities, reminding him far too much of that original pony from so long ago. 

Other notes:

-Apparently sphinxes in MLP have pony heads instead of human heads which makes sense I guess but it threw me through such a loop man.

-Whilst traversing the wiki I ended up with the same problem I had with chimeras in the first post where only one ever shows up in the series and there's no other info on them. So I made stuff up again.

- I imagine Sphinxes live a very long time, so the event Enigma was embarrassed at would probably take a long time to roll around again and he'd be forced to stew with his anger and wounded ego for far too long. I'm not sure what the puzzle was exactly or how Sundown dismantled it, but I imagine he did something extremely simple that a Sphinx would never have thought of (a la that software engineering joke), making it feel far more unfair and humiliating than if he'd solved in the intended way.

-His naturally crooked tail settles into the shape of a question mark, and the pattern on his arm is meant to look like a stylized question mark wrapping around his forearm (the "dot" is the white of his paw).

2. Miss Friday (Miss Tuesday)

Enigma’s teenaged assistant, Miss Friday seems to be the only pony the sphinx enjoys (or perhaps simply tolerates) the company of. Beyond her having met Enigma in Tartarus during their simultaneous imprisonments, the exact origins of her relationship to and exceptional status with her boss are a bit of a riddle in of themselves. Regardless, the two seem to have something of a mutual understanding, and Miss Friday’s mental prowess and dubious moral code are more than a match for Enigma’s own.

Other Notes:

-Yes this is a "The horse's name was Friday" joke. I'm sorry it was just too good to pass up.

-Miss Tuesday already sounded like a MLP name, but the horse named Friday thing was just too perfect for somebody who works under a guy who's whole thing is riddles. Also I relistened to the BTAA episode where she's introduced while coloring her and I noticed they reference His Girl Friday several times, so fun coincidence?

-The candy-striped leg patterns are based on her canon costume's striped pants & are meant to mirror the Riddler's wrapped leg pattern. The dark patterns on her face are supposed to be reminiscent of eye bags.

3. Mania (Bat-Mite)

Bat-Pony’s self-proclaimed biggest fan, Mania is a Draconequus embodying the spirit of obsession. Normally he watches the hero from his own dimension, but at times he tries to insert himself into the narrative or help Sundown fight, both to varying degrees of success. Though he genuinely adores Bat-Pony, Mania is usually more of a hindrance than a help, and can even be directly antagonistic at times when his obsession goes too far. 

Other notes:

-Similar issue to Chimeras and Sphinxes, only two Draconequuses (Draconequui?) show up in the series, one being Discord (embodying chaos), the other being a comics-only villain known as Cosmos (embodying malice), but honestly what little we're given worked super well for the character anyway. Discord seems to come from his own unique plane of existence/dimension and Cosmos has similarly strange origins; both have penchants for causing mischief with incredible reality-warping powers; and both embody non-physical concepts. Bat-Mite being a reality warping 5th dimensional creature obsessed with Batman was surprisingly easy to adapt.

-He has the head of a pony, a ferret-like body, two front rat paws, mite antennae, an insectoid wing, a bat wing, a pigeon foot, a chevrotain (mouse deer) foot, and a monkey tail. I tried to have him mostly made up of animals that were very small, seen as mischievous, and/or seen as pests.

4. Poison Ivy (Pamela Isley)

Said to be more plant than pony, Poison Ivy is the self-proclaimed princess of the Green. Though once a regular Earth pony, she began to spiral after receiving her cutie mark and fully coming into her powerful natural attunement to plant life. Fleeing into the nearby forests on the outskirts of Gotham, she wasn’t seen again until many years later when Gotham’s city refurbishment and expansion efforts began to encroach on the forests borders, where she reemerged with strange new powerful magic and retaliated violently.

Though she isn’t recognized politically or physically as an alicorn, plants grow from the flesh of her body in the pattern of a horn and wings characteristic of those born into or bestowed with royalty, and the strange natural magic that accompanies them seems to almost rival that of a true alicorn’s.

Other notes:

-I dont really have anything to add to this one I just thought a false alicorn would be a cool concept.

-the whole alicorn royalty thing is very strange to think about isnt it? I feel like the ruling class having such insane amounts of physical and magical power probably has much more pressing ramifications than ever was, would, or should be addressed in a kids show but they are fun to think about.

-Her actual name is Poison Ivy, yes. It sounded like a pony name. I don't know what that says about her parents.

-The leaf wings are folded down in the graphic but I think they are flighted, or at the very least useful for gliding and expressing emotions.

5. Saltbrine (Oswald Cobblepot)

Short, stout, and flightless, Saltbrine’s moniker of “The Penguin” has its origins in the taunts of his peers from his youth. Though the title has persisted into the current day, it’s often spoken with far more fear and trepidation throughout the alleys and backstreets of Gotham than ridicule. Saltbrine owns two of Gothams most well-known businesses, one being the luxurious, high-class Iceberg Lounge…and the other being the organized crime syndicate the former acts as a front for.

Other notes:

-Again don't have much to add to this one. One of my favorite designs though, I love the giant beak face.

-The bird half is actually based on a puffin, because a penguin felt too on the nose for Oswald and too strange for a hippogriff (I couldn't get the wings or face to look right at all either). I feel like the title being an insult works a little better if he's not literally half-penguin.

-he's the same color my club penguin avatar used to be (RIP)

Here are some new inserts with no ships attached

Kitt Katz (they/them) is my Welcome Home insert. No ships like I said but I am really fond of Barnaby.

Their role in the show is a self-care spin on typical cat behaviors such as eating and napping. Often having a little segment to ask the viewer if they’ve had a tasty snack that day or done something kind for themselves

Next up is an impsona for Helluva Boss and also hazbin I suppose but I like that show less. Which isn’t saying much cause I’m not a huge fan of Helluva Boss much either. But I watch it on occasion with my roommate and I do love to design a character.

Anyway here’s Manx (they/them), they don’t have lore just kind of here. Idk what ring of hell they’d even be from. Maybe wrath, gluttony, or sloth

Last but not least a ponysona. I made one years and years ago when I was like 15 but it was quite literally just me but pony, same hair color, skin color, eye color and all. Only thing that’s stuck around is I’m still a unicorn…sort of

This is Moondrop (they/them) they’re a hybrid between a pony and a zebra. Cause I always thought Zecora was neat in the show.

Since Hearts and hooves day is coming up gonna put some bits of lore for Nox's universe pertaining to who is with who~

Well at least for the mane 6 and a few other characters Including Nox will post a 2nd one of these later to cover more.

First off Discord being a avatar of chaos is gender fluid and is with both fluttershy and Obscura and takes a female form For their relationship

Fluttershy and discord are pansexual while obscura is a lesbian

Rainbow Dash is with both Applejack and Rarity in the polycule Rarity being Bi while the other two are lesbians

Pinkie pie is with cheese sandwich and both are open to having a poly relationship and are both Pansexual

Twilight Is with Moon Dancer

And both are Bi

Starlight Glimmer Is In a polycule both with Trixie and Sunburst.

Stalight being bi, trixie lesbian, and sunburst straight.

And Finally for this entry we have Nox who is in a polycule with Fluttershy, Obscura, Zecora, and Chroma Slip.

Nox Is pan while Zecora is bi.
