Been listening to some Dragon Tales songs recently so here. Also, I think that one of the twins is trans. Unsure whether it’s Zak or Wheezy but one of them is trans to me.

First piece for 2024, Dragon Tales!

Made in Sai/Csp (8 hours)

I challenged myself to draw all of the line art with the crayon tool in Sai. It was a bit tough, especially when it came to selecting a small portion of random pieces with the magic wand tool…I made it work though.

I was 10 when this show aired in 99…and now I’m 34 and I still watch it for the nostalgia. My first drawing of this was made in 2016, so I redrew it 8 years later.

Wheezie, as her name suggests, yaps, (purple/pink) and Zak (blue/green) disassociates. Phil would love it that his parallel is named zak. 💀

They're from a PBS children's show called Dragon Tales that i watched in the early 2000s.

"You okay there? You look hurt!" Cue Zak being worried over the stranger that must've fallen down the hill to the main grassy plains. Sun shining brightly over the pair casting an over casted shadow on Eileen. They stood around 5'2 for being nine. They were hydra dragons after all, so it's natural they were taller than most. He hoped their intimidating size wouldn't be a problem for her. Her reaches a hand out for her to take.

"Oh, oh! She must've been rolling down the hill for funsies! We should do the same, Zakie." Her offer at getting covered in dirt and grass DIDN'T sound exactly enticing for Zak to which his nostrils crinkled in a slight sneer.

"Wheezie. We JUST took a bath like an hour ago. We can't go home all covered in dirt again! Mom and dad literally told us not to get too rough today. They're trying to clean the mound today. So we HAVE to stay clean." Their small argument evidently ignored Eileen in that moment seeming to be caught up in their squabble.
