cringe is dead, and some day I will be too, so fuck it. Zaboomafoo and Wild Kratts were a big part of my childhood growing up, and frankly, I’m still pretty obsessed with both shows lol. and this, is a result of that :>

this is a screencap redraw, of course, but in my own style. I really like how it turned out, and I’m planning on doing a few more pretty soon!

A while back I was looking through some of my old sketchbooks, from years and years ago, and came across an old drawing I did of the Kratt brothers as Pokémon Rangers since at the time of drawing it I was really into the Wild Kratts show and just recently finished playing Pokémon Sapphire.

If we're being honest it really was a brilliant idea, they totally would be Pokémon Rangers, it's just facts. But anyways I decided to revisit the idea and redesign their outfits to look more like Ranger outfits, so now this drawing exists.

If I'm feeling up to it later I might make designs of Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy for this au (I guess its an au now). We'll see :P

Like!! I watched ZABOOMAFOO in my youth!!! With the lemur puppet and the footage of an actual lemur bounding away at the end of the episode! I knew them Live Action before they became an animated show!!! I have never even considered this question before!!! Why what would prompt this question about my beloved childhood educators on animals?!? They are not… for me people to be attracted to. They are like my dad not literally and like my dad wouldn’t do that kind of stuff but I used to watch zamboomafoo with him. But like spiritually for thirty minute intervals. there is no attraction towards them from me

And so many people just saying in the comments They’re real??? And like Yes!! Fools!!! Zaboomafoo!!! There’s also a segment before and after I know this because my young cousin watched it c’mon! I WATCHED THE REST OF REEL MILDLY HORRIFIED LIKE NOOO

I average one semi complete art piece every now and then and its always at night before i sleep. I wanted to draw the cartoons in the outfits they used to wear in Zaboomafoo, cause like, we lost something when men stopped wearing skimpy lil shorts. Tried to give it a 90s old photo look even tho it aired in like... 99
