oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

OMG ABOUT FAE TRAPS !!

you know how you never tell a fae your name? what if yuu had to say a fake name all the time?

I do know about that fae trap!! There are so many out there and different specifics of how the name can be given. They can vary depending on the story/myth. Some stories/myths only let names be given (taken) if the individual is saying their own name, but other stories/myths allow for the individuals name to be taken or known to the fae if given by another person!! It wild 👏🏽

This could go a few ways (depending on the specifics of name giving)

Two examples are:

1: Yuu NEVER tells ANYONE their real name ever, just in case ✋🏽

Or

2: Yuu tells only a few select people their real name, but it somehow spreads, reaching Malleus' ears 🫵🏽 (whether Yuu is quick-witted enough to come up with an excuse on the spot it entirely up to them ☝🏽)

Example:

Malleus: Child of man, why is it that all the others call you by a different name?

Mc/Y/N/Yuu: ...what? 😀

Malleus: Yes, they all seem to call you by a different name than I do. A different name than the one you gave me.

Mc/Y/N/Yuu: Well... uh, I gave them a fake name! Yea, and I only gave you my 'real' name because I trust you so much 🙂

Malleus: ....is that so? (Is he amused? Flattered? Suspicious? Who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Arrangements had begun for you two to take over a certain part of Sunset Savannah, as something akin to a *Peerage. (They had their own name for it, you are currently far too annoyed to remember.) A lot of (semi-forced) communication set the road to reconciliation between the two brothers. (Admittedly a very long road. A road that puts Gulliver's travels to shame.) The Royal Family™️ accepted you with open hearts. (albeit a tad wary at first)

Really there was only one major problem.

The ROYAL PALACE IS LIKE A GODDAMN LABYRINTH. And that's rich, given your history of painting the white roses with Ace and Deuce in Heartsabyul's maze. So here you are, lost.

okay twst theory: i was talking to my sister last night (the one who introduced me to twst) and she told me about the theory that the last book will be yuu & grim combining plus overblotting. Which made me think of why ramshackle was created in the first place. Each dorm was made for each of the great seven, so why was there an extra dorm? Which made me imagine what if overblotted yuu& grim become whatever villain used to inspire ramshackle?

Of course I don't know what villain would be or why they aren't part of the great seven anymore, but I thought it was a fun thing to think about. If anyone else has anything to add or even refute my theory lmk! :D

(I have recently started the game and have only finished book 1 so try not to give any spoilers!)

About the AceYuu post, it made me think a little because, maybe that's exactly what Yuu needs - just a guy.

Between all those big and powerful personalities, wild situations, and overly emotional moments, maybe the time of normality is what he needs.

Not some shady deals, not the social media stuff, nor the thought of dealing with princes and the riches.

Just sitting together on a couch and watching a movie. Go outside for a walk as Ace chuckles and teases him. Hear him complaining about homework or whatever trouble he got once again with his housewarden.

He's like a breath of normalicy. A calm moment filled with laughter and all the huffing and whining.

Ace might not be the most powerful, the most rich, not even the most handsome. But he sure as heck feels like home.

Hot take: at some point the Ramshackle family gets so used to mixing up laundromat that they start sharing everything besides underwear. I'm talking Yuu with Fellow's shirts, Gidel with Rollo's hat, Fellow with Skully's waist coat, Rollo with Gidel's hat, and Skully with Yuu's hoodie.

The funny thing.....it dawns on them when they're in school that they have the wrong clothes on.

Yep! Gotta keep that secretly a Prince(ss) Jing Yuan in another life Agenda going and with him being in Twst, perhaps that sentiment holds way more weight there than intended... (Whattt,General Jing Yuan of the Luofu? Never heard of him!)

He may as well embrace the 'handsome prince from another world' rumours circling through college hall's, trying to dissapprove in any way shape or form would just be a losing battle that he isn't exactly bothered enough to wake up from his daily scheduled nap's in the college's gardens...

Perhaps he might even pick up some animal langguage lesson's while he's at it..! Another clever trick in his ever-growing arsenal to be used in battle or for war!

...Okayy, who are we kidding? He'll probably use it to his advantage to sneakily prolong his nap session's more... (Leona is probably bemoaning about his misfortune of getting all his good napping spots overtaken by another guy that he knows that he has no chance of overpowering , but is he gonna go down without a few loud complaints or leg nudging's? Silver and Yuu!Jing Yuan would maybe bond a bit on their weird magnetism for small bird's to be attracted to them so frequently and also talk a lot about their opinions of eachother's sleeping habit's (both in radically different ways-)

It would also be a funny scenario to think about Yuu!Jing Yuan's bird's becoming as sentient and self-aware as those typical Disney princess's bird's that they just unintentionally turn into his small disciple-like confidants? Like, think of the possibilities, he would actually be far too powerful- get those bird's confiscated T_T
