I had this dream where these 5 kids all went to a camp and the first night they were all kicked out of their respective cabins for “not fitting in” There’s an older girl who got kicked out because she isn’t as fancy and is too mother-like for the group, a pair of twins who gets kicked out cause one twin is a huge nerd and the cabin is a bunch of jocks who want the other twin to stay but he refuses cause he sticks by his brother no matter what, a younger boy who gets kicked out simply for being too quiet and being easy to bully, and a young girl who simply leaves cause she thinks the other girls are too boring or too easy to freak out with gross stories. Anyway, these outcasts notice each other and sort of group together to find a place to sleep. The older girl says she knows of a cabin deeper in the woods that was abandoned because of a fire, it still stood but the other building around it disappeared from fires and the camp decided to just leave it and build new cabins somewhere safer. The group agrees to go there and make it their own “Freakshow” Cabin. When they get there they set up the beds and clean it up a bit so they can get some rest. Before they go to sleep however, one of them finds a cool mushroom and offers to make stew out of it, since they know it’s not poisonous. The group agrees and has a simple mushroom stew before drifting off to sleep.

One by one they each wake up to discover something has changed about themselves and well, they’re all freaking out. The older girl figures out she can grow and shrink but she has no idea how to control it, which ends up with her taking a forth of the cabin with her body. The twins find out the have telepathy and telekinesis, with the nerd having telepathy and the jock having telekinesis. Thinking this is awesome they high-five only for the high-five switch the powers between the twins. They do this a few times testing it out. Both don’t have control over the power resulting in hearing everyone’s thoughts and randomly throwing objects they were looking at for a few seconds. The younger boy finds out that huge wings have sprouted from his back, and is having trouble learning how to fly or just control them. Causing him to crash into the ceiling a few times. The young girl however seems unaffected at first, until she get water splashed all over her from the chaos, turning her into a mermaid. As they all panic, they slowly try and calm down while trying to calm down the others to figure out what to do and how this happened.

They figure out that perhaps the mushroom caused this and decide they won’t leave the cabin until they figure a way to hide their new abilities. The twins figure it out pretty quick how to hide and use their new abilities, while the older girl figures out the size shifting is tied to her emotions, survival instincts, and urge to protect. The young girl already knew what caused hers and is mostly pissed that she turns into a generic mermaid. Which the need twin says that if she doesn’t like being a pretty mermaid she could think of herself as more of a siren luring people to their doom, which makes her way more into it. The young boy figures out how to fold his wings so that he can put on a coat or shirt over them to hide them from view. They all sheepishly decide they have to leave and go to breakfast before anyone gets suspicious about them.

Throughout the day each person meets a challenge where their powers are in jeopardy of being discovered. The twins are doing some basic archery or something when the nerd twin asks to quickly switch powers so they don’t look too bad at the game. The jock agrees and they switch, the nerd using the telekinesis to help the arrow actually hit the target. While not perfect it’s better then it flopping onto the ground. The jock however is trying to not listen to people’s thoughts when a dude points out how some girls are eyeing him. The jock looks over and hears their thoughts about how much they would love to ride his d- only for him to just scream at the thought. Only he actually screamed, out loud. For what seems to be no reason and quickly runs away with his brother trying to catch up. The young girl was told they would we kayaking and well that doesn’t go well with her power so she simply pouts on the deck as she had to make up a reason why she could kayak. The younger boy is minding his business when his bully shows up and starts shoving him and making fun of him. The boy tries to run only to be shoved into a locker, which stresses him out causing his wings to break through the shirt and cramp him even more. The bullies leave and the older girl finds out what happens. She has to resist the urge to confront them cause she can feel her body trying to expand in anger, so she uses this to find the locker with mentally shouting about what happened so if the telepathic twin heard, they could tell someone or even help out. Which is lucky since they see her sprinting across the grounds and the jock hears her thoughts, telling his bro to find the younger girl and he’ll go help out. They split up, meanwhile the older girl breaks open the locker holding the young boy who is a sobbing mess and comforts him at her slightly larger size. She couldn’t keep calm for long and is in a very protective mode.

Eventually they all head back to their little cabin and talk about what they should do. They all agree that they should practice with their powers so they have more control and that maybe they could help others with these powers but ultimately decide they’ll keep it to just helping the group. Although now the camp counselors are into them after finding the locker door ripped off in such a destructive way.

Some points I liked (I focused more on 1B since they don't get a lot of attention)

1B once had a Tetsutetsu BBQ. They heated him up and cooked food on him. He proceeds to ruin it when he declares his sweat is the salt to their food

Yui is canonically the prettiest first-year

Mineta has no sex appeal at all, but he thinks being a hero will make him lucky

Class B does respect Monoma. He's sharp-minded, witty, and has a way with words

Monoma sometimes wanders into 1A's dorm just to throw down a mean speech, and heads back to 1B

Juzo probably isn't helping Monoma's confrontations with 1A, since he just always asks him why he can't say it to their faces whenever Monoma complains about them

Shiozaki tries to be polite even in a fight

Pony hosts anime parties, so 1B knows a lot about anime. Vice-versa, they teach her Japanese, and everything nasty is Monoma's fault

Tokage was a gyaru

Tsuburuaba, Kaibara, and Kuroiro get worked up whenever they talk about girls

Manga likes Kenranzaki

Awase's family runs a small factory. He also restrains Monoma whenever Kendo isn't available

1B likes hearing Rin say "Aiyah", so he does it for them

Kamakiri is obsessed with cutting into things

Class B's play was really successful

Tamaki is scared of Kirishima's energy

1C was planning a send-off party for Shinsou for his upcoming hero transfer. They didn't doubt he would make it, ever since the Sports Festival

Shishikura (meatball Shiketsu boy) might've chosen Shiketsu because he likes the uniform's hat

Nakagame and Yo are dating

Tsuyu's family gets to spend a lot of time together now, since their parents' busy jobs have calmed down

Tsubasa (devil wing kid in Midoriya's memories) suspiciously lost touch with Midoriya and Bakugo in middle school (his Wiki page confirms Garaki - his grandfather - turned him into a Nomu)

Torino likes goofy gags. This rubs off on All Might (ex. when Midoriya thought he died when Torino fell with ketchup. People don't know whether to laugh or be concerned)

Nighteye has yellow streaks in his hair as a homage to All Might

Nezu likes worming into tight, dark places, so he likes Aizawa's scarf. They went into detail, describing why Nezu likes it, such as material to crawling in, etc.

Recovery Girl has to travel around Japan regularly to help people with her Quirk (as in, she uses her Quirk to help them. Healing Quirks are SO rare)

Hojo, Tabe, and Sestuno are kept in the same jail, so at least they're not separated

My main take away from Platform 7 is that Toby Regbo should do more roles where he wears nice suits all the time cuz I be giggling like a lovesick 12 year old every time he comes on screen okay? Okay.

one thing I definitely don't want out of the rest of S2 episodes, and afraid that will come to happen nonetheless due to the "love triangle" interview, or due to stereotypic expectations of "softer love saving from past abuse and toxicity", and also, like, LOTS OF SPOILERY STILLS for the episodes premiering tomorrow... is for Izzy Hands to come out of his fucked up dependent toxic love for Ed into another romantic relationship, especially if it includes Edward.

I want Izzy Hands to be developed as a character, to finally untangle his love towards Ed/Blackbeard, not through falling in love again... but through the love towards the crew, and of them towards him. I want for the trauma pack of attempted Ed Teach murderers to bond, not so hard it's impossible to untangle them from one another, but enough to see "yeah, all these people are together, and they're gonna stay shoulder to shoulder to protect one another".

I want a friend group that did bond through a traumatic experience, but came out trusting one another because of care, not trauma. I want that to be the crux of Israel Hands' development, to be someone who can finally see himself apart from Edward Teach, and apart from "this love he has", like a disease... I want him to embrace what he has yet refused to admit. that he wants to care for his people, his crew, and to be cared for back equally, without any dynamics of power in the way.

One thing I'm sad we never got to see in XC3 was an Ouroboros/Ouroboros interlink, a two-core Ouroboros to match the two-core Moebiuses we have to fight. It's left as unexplored thematic territory, and for me it would have really heightened the sense of camaraderie between them -- and also given us cool new monster forms to look at >:3c

Of course, this would mean that the plot would have needed to be about twice as long -- Ouroboros^2 forms would pretty much require a second character arc for every character. Ideally, I'd have it start at the end of Act 2, before Camp Omega, which would leave the logical first option as Noah and Mio coming to terms with how hey, Lanz and Sena, how come you were THAT READY to kill yourselves to save us all? and the fallout of Noah and Mio being ~*~special~*~ would be really good at driving force to re-establish the adhesion the ensemble had built up until then.

For the designs themselves, it would definitely be cool if they changed to reflect which of the four participants is "in the lead", but for practical reasons having the experience be closer to having the two pairs be in a kind of Pacific Rim style drift state along the Keves-Agnus line, sharing mental estate rather than being fully merged together into a single four-aspect consciousness, would simplify the design process a great deal. Maybe it only works as long as they're mentally holding hands, making the two Ouroboroses connected by a strong sense of belonging together rather than an extension of the duality-in-one that fuels a single-core Ouroboros.

For the designs, it might be cool if they're even more removed from humanity, maybe in a Janusian way where the Kevesi half and Agnian half are present at the same time, with the dominant half being represented through colour and animatedness. Hell, this would even be extensible to a potential Ouroboros^3 form, one that has all the pairs synched up, distinguishing their abilities even from those of the Moebius capable of Interlinking, which could outright be a "Be Not Afraid", fully artificial-looking, closer-to-mechanism-than-even-the-Moebius kind of superform that only shows up for cool finishing move cutscenes.
