Monster Stats & Propaganda Under the Cut:
Kuriboh is used by Yugi Mutou/Yami Yugi. Its stats are the following:
Attribute: DARK
Level: 1
Type: FIEND / EFFECT
Effect Type: QUICK
Effect (according to the anime): "During your opponent's turn, at damage calculation: You can discard this card; you take no battle damage from that battle (this is a Quick Effect)."
ATK / DEF: 300 / 200
Propaganda:
Turn 18 of the duel between Kaiba and Yugi in the Duelist Kingdom arc - INFINITE KURIBOH WALL.
There's one part in Duelist Kingdom (when the rules didn't matter) where the Kuribohs multiply and there's an endless amount of them.
He's cute.
Have you seen this adorable fluff ball?! He's adorable and will take a hit for you because he loves you.
It's just a small, fluffy guy. One that Yugi and Atem used destroy many an opponent, an example of how even a monster that seems useless can be used to topple an opponent. But mostly I'm submitting him because he's a small, fluffy guy. Very iconic, even if it's not the strongest monster.
In my opinion, he's the mascot of DM. Of the whole series, really. That's why there's on in each series. But you cannot go wrong with the OG!!
Slifer the Sky Dragon is used by Malik Isthar ("Marik Ishtar" in the dub) through Doll/Pantomimer ("Strings" in the dub) and Yugi Mutou/Yami Yugi. Its stats are the following:
Attribute: DIVINE
Level: 10
Type: DIVINE-BEAST
Effect Type: TRIGGER / CONTINUOUS
Effect (according to the anime): "Everytime the opponent summons creature into the field, the point of the player's cerd is cut by 2000 points. X stands for the number of the player's cerds in hand."
ATK / DEF: X000 / X000
Propaganda:
I think the answer is pretty obvious.

What I love so far about Theodore&Flame is the absolutely BONKERS comedic contrast they offer to Yusaku&Ai. Flame starts doing a Bit for Drama, Theodore smiles and doesn't interrupt. Flame gives the slightest hint he misses being called by his name, Theodore trips over himself to make sure he's still okay with Flame. Flame wants to go on a ferris wheel, well goshdarn we are going to go on a ferris wheel.
Theodore: I've only had Flame for three months, but if anything happened to him, I'd kill everyone in this room. Flame: I love you too. <3
Ai: Hey. Hey. Hey. While you were at school I ordered 32 pounds of creamed corn via amazon delivery and then shuffled your netflix queue :3 Yusaku, not looking up from his work: I would sell you to satan for one corn chip.

Three years ago, in November of 2020. I made a joke comic using png's from the Tag Force games & Duel Links. Initially meant to be an in joke between me and my friends. It's turned into a 3 plus year epic, after I was galvanized by the mods of the Yugioh subreddit who deleted a post of the 1st issue for being "Low Effort".
This is the Epic Yugioh Web Comic, Issues 1 through 10. Unnoticed by Twitter, constantly downvoted on Imgur. This 300 plus issue series now resides her on Tumblr if for no other reason than to preserve my work.
Because while by all metrics we can measure, this comic is meaningless. I Give it Meaning by the simple Act of Creating it.

the scars that bound my present to our pasts (7905 words)
[ (4/? hierarchy of collapse) | Kaijou/Puppyshipping | @hurtcember 2024 Day 4: Scars ]
Summary: Why was it even when Katsuya was alone, eons of light years away, his actions remained shackled by the scars of his past? (Or emotional trauma meets melon soda float banter meets dodgy bad friend.) (Myst's usual brand of hurt-no-comfort Kaijou; potential triggers in ao3)
Click below for a few preview paragraphs!
He lifted his head from the coffin of his own embrace, surprised his migraine had mostly departed, eyes still adjusting to the mise-en-scène of caliginous absence that had characterised most—, now all of his daily existence. Awaiting the commencement of his wordless soliloquy, he sat in desolation – ringed by the disintegrated ashes of a will conquered; framed against a foreground of cacophonous clutter that diffused the ambient light from the streets below until all of him was pulled into a desaturated monochrome.
After minutes, or perhaps an hour – the passage of time seemed to dilate non-linearly to Katsuya these days – of impassive passivity, holding conversations he should have had but never did in the language of blue; imagining the hypothetical splintering of their history into prisms of alternate hues, Katsuya forced his mind to replace the replays with static and awaited the thrumming of his heart to slow to a more steady cadence.
Katsuya cracked the soreness from his spine, feeling his lower back cramp in resistance. I really am gettin’ old, huh. Rationalising that cleaning up the aftermath of his outburst took precedence over the affordances of wistful fancies, he drove his knuckles into the floor to unhinge his legs, forgetting the injuries he had sustained the night before.

i think the best part of yugioh video games is its introduction to the most insane gimmick decks i've ever seen, but especially legacy of the duelist. they gave varis a deck that is nothing but mirror force cards. the mime from battle city has a slime token beatdown deck. marcel's entire challenge deck has the overall gimmick of using three copies of heart of the underdog to add your ENTIRE deck to your hand just to summon exodia. extreme clown behavior. i love using blair's simochi deck recipe it's infuriating to everyone that's played against it.

Kumongous, the Sticky String Kaiju
"You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If your opponent controls a 'Kaiju' monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 'Kaiju' monster. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s) (except during the Damage Step): You can remove 2 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; until the end of the next turn, that monster(s) cannot attack and its effects are negated."
