Hanako: Careless and quick while writing, but it's eligible

Kou: Practically attacks the paper

Aoi (F): Has the most unfairly effortless aesthetic handwriting

Akane (M): Messy and rarely eligible, it's efficient for him though. Smart people 🤷‍♂️

Teru: "Childish" and gets increasingly worse depending on how much sleep he got. He pulls out the most horrid handwriting known to man to annoy Akane specifically

Sousuke: Practiced to make his handwriting look neater, partially to mock Kou, who really couldn't care less

Funniest headcanons?

Okay wow I have so many crack headcanons so prepare yourself. Take every negative thing I’ve ever said abt fanon and throw it out the window, this is about to get so unserious

• Hanako is a fudanshi. This applies to the whole Toilet Gang (except Nene would be called a fujoshi), they’ve got a little book club. Hanako is the most insane about it tho

• Aoi and Akane are a himejoshi/himedanshi couple

• Lemon and Akane smoke weed together on a regular basis (throw back to the time I looked up “slang words for marijuana” for my Terukaneaoi fic and ended up sounding like Skyler White)

• I feel like an average conversation between the Toilet Gang is the most insufferable, out of pocket middle school humor you’ve ever heard in your life. Those four make South Park look like a kids show

• Akane has a random lock of Aoi’s hair on a shelf in his room

• Since the Minamoto father is absent and the mother is dead, Tiara just kind of assumes Teru and Akane are her parents. Instead of correcting her on this, Akane decides to be the dad who stepped up

• Akane is one of those filmbros who does NOT play abt Pulp Fiction (me) (that’s the second time I’ve mentioned that movie in relation to Akane today)

• He’s also the type to ask you to name three Nirvana songs if he catches you wearing one of their shirts and if you even so much as think about saying Smells Like Teen Spirit, he’ll shoot you in the head

• Hanako is lowkey mad Kou and Mitsuba started dating without him

• Mitsuba has cheesy romantic fantasies about Kou the same way Nene does about her crushes (I credit this one to one of my TikTok mutuals @/mads)

It’s while you’re both having a conversation with Kou and Yashiro involved that he realizes you never really smile or laugh even though Yashiro accidentally dropped the mop bucket causing her and Kou to fall, which was pretty funny to Hanako

He tries to make you smile as much as he can and if you tell him you are happy then he just figures that’s how you are and will tease you for being so stoic

“Look at [name]! Can’t you tell they’re happy?” Hanako said to Kou and Yashiro who only stared puzzled because you looked far from happy

If you’re even insecure about it then he’ll reassure you it’s nothing bad and if anyone makes fun of you then he’ll just have to prank them a little

Tsukasa Yugi

Isn’t bothered by your lack of facial expressions at all and finds it to be very entertaining instead and constantly teases you about it

Makes it his mission to make you smile and will whine about it you to smile. Though he does know that sometimes that you are happy but it doesn’t show it so it just becomes a little game to him to guess if you’re happy or not

“Isn’t [name] the cutest when they smile?” Tsukasa cheerfully said as he puts the ends of your lips upwards to make you smile while you just let it happen. Natsuhiko and Sakura stared blankly at the sight.

If anyone ever makes fun of you for being so stoic, then Tsukasa will gladly deal with them with a giggle and mischievous smile

He was honestly terrified from you, it felt like you were judging him and thought lowly of him but immediately felt bad when he found out that’s just how you are and apologized profusely even if you didn’t know what he thought of you before

He hopes to one day see a smile from you even if it’s a small one so he’ll often invite you to hang out to hopefully catch a small smile. Has definitely joined in with Tiaras silly games when you were over his house to hopefully see you smile. Also let Teru cook once just to show you how much of a bad cook he is so you can laugh

“Show me how happy you are!” Kou said, urging you to smile with a smile of his own plastered on his face. “What do you mean? I am happy, don’t you see my smile?” You questioned. “Oh… umm-“

TBHK Headcanons : First Date Edition!

These aren't ship specific, just where I think each of the characters would take someone out on a first date.

Nene: She'd take her date out to a farm, especially a sunflower farm. She'd show off her best skills, gardening! She'd nerd out on how to care for different plants and wear a floral patterned dress. Maybe even clip her hair up with a cute flower-styled pin.

Hanako: He'd want to be somewhere cozy and nice. He'd be casual and adventure around town to go exploring. Ideally, he'd star gaze, but he wants it to be perfectly clear and quiet out at night in order to do that.

Kou: He'd go through a list of suggestions his brother gave him (all setting him up for failure, Teru probably doesn't like the idea of his little brother dating anyone and getting his heart broken). He'd pick the cheapest and simplest option, wear something casual, and make it work out perfectly!

Mitsuba: He'd take his date out hiking so he can take a beautiful photo of them with the sunset in the background once they reach the top of the mountain.

Teru: He'd plan to give his date the princess treatment; going anywhere they want, paying for their food, buying jewelry, and protecting them from the cold and suspicious people. He'd dress very nice but try and act all aloof and cold. On the inside he'd be a fumbling mess who has no idea what to actually do.

Akane: He'd do the same as Teru but bump up the protectiveness to 1000. Also, he'd go all out to look handsome.

Aoi: She'd just want to go to a café and chat for a while. Nothing too fancy or stuffy. She just likes something simple, a place where she won't feel so anxious to express herself.

Tsukasa: He'd take his date to a movie; a horror movie. Something so gruesome and gory that his date would cling to them the entire time. He would watch and enjoy his date squirm from the gross movie. He'd psychologically torture his date. Probably don't go out with him.

It's not a Headcanon that I like very much, after all I don't feel comfortable thinking about the possibility of twins in love, you know, this thing about romantic love between families is something that bothers me a little, but that possibility doesn't leave my head.

headcanon 1 ~ how they first met!

So if you don’t know, Lane is so shy… like SO shy

You might think that’d they be scared talking to Tsu, but that’s where your wrong!

In summary of what happened, Tsukasa would be painting with blood, or killing things (yk, Tsukasa things), and Lane stumbles upon him.

Lane was a little worried, seeing all the blood, but they didn’t run away for some reason…

“Hello human!!” Tsukasa greets, “who might you be?”

Lane never met anyone that referred to them as a human, they were so used to getting misgendered.

Due to their happiness overload, they jumped into Tsukasa arms, with glimmers in their eyes… they didn’t want to mess up introducing themself to him…

Tsukasa had a confused look on his face, “s-sorry, I should say who I am…” they spoke, “w-well, my name is Lane Noburo!! I’m 15 years old, and non binary!! Which makes me wonder… who are you..?”

“Oh! I’m Tsukasa Yugi!! I’m Amane’s twin brother, and I can grant wishes for the dead!!” He exclaimed cheerfully, almost child like.

“…I’m sorry, wishes for the dead..?” Lane questioned, making sure they heard him right. “Mhm!! Oh! I should mention I’m a ghost too!!”

Lane was not sure if they be scared or delighted to see the ghost in front of them, Tsukasa then tilts his head… “I think I had heard of you before..!” He mentioned.

“Are you… a new member of the broadcasting club?” He asks excitedly. “Y-yeah… why you ask?” They looked at him tilting their head.

“Oh! Then Sakura must’ve told me about you!! She said that you were a lot more shy and quiet, but you can be extremely helpful too..!” He exclaimed. “I see… c-can’t argue with that,” they said softly.

“Hey!! I have an idea!! Let’s play a game!! I love games!!” The spirt excitedly cheered, with that, he grabbed Lane’s hand, and ran. Lane had a million questions, but kept silent, just running with him, playing games until they were bored…

Yayayay I love their dynamic sm. The father/son duo ever. I’m gonna do a mix of Amane and Hanako headcanons bcuz their relationship at any point is so sweet to me

• So for AUs I think it’s super cute when ppl have Tsuchigomori adopt Amane (+Tsukasa)- or at least it would be, I don’t think I’ve seen any actual fics like that lmao. But for canon it’s definitely more of a “teacher you accidentally call dad” dynamic

• I still view Tsuchigomori as a father figure to Hanako but I think they’d both be very reluctant to admit it. I feel the need to specify that because fandoms tend to take parent/child dynamics and make them into super traditional families, which can be cute in AUs but sometimes for canon it takes away the nuance

• It’s the same as when I call Teru Kou’s dad, there’s more to it than that. Yes he is Hanako’s father, yes he is his teacher. Two things can be true at once

• Okay now that that’s out of the way, onto the headcanons

• Circling back to the first point, Hanako has accidentally called Tsuchigomori “dad” twice. Once as Amane, and once as Hanako

• As Amane it was a very emotionally heavy moment, when Tsuchigomori finished bandaging him up as usual. He gave him a mini lecture on standing up for himself, and Amane let out a quiet “Thanks, Dad”

• The minute he realized what he said, he bolted out of that classroom. He wouldn’t talk after that until Tsuchigomori reassured him they could just forget about it

• As Hanako it was more of a comical moment. He was hanging out with Tsuchigomori and Yako, annoying them as usual, but as he was getting ready to ditch them he said “See ya later, Dad”

• Everyone froze until Yako started laughing her ass off. Hanako quickly tried to cover it up but Yako wasn’t willing to forget it as easily as Tsuchigomori had been that first time, so he had to hide out in his bathroom for quite some time

• Yako started calling Tsuchigomori “Dad” too whenever she wanted to mess with him

• Tsuchigomori would try to help Amane make friends by pairing him with other kids for group projects. This always backfired, seeing as Amane had trouble socializing and was an easy target for bullying

• Sometimes he still tries to get Mitsuba and Mei to hang out with the kid so that he has more than two friends (one of which is his girlfriend)

• But progress is still progress and he’s obvi very happy to see that Hanako has made friends

• Hanako hangs out in Tsuchigomori’s office whenever he’s bored or sad

• When he’s bored he’ll just annoy him, telling him unfunny jokes and going on long tangents about whatever comes to mind. Tsuchigomori complains but never seriously attempts to kick him out

• When he’s sad about something, he’ll usually just sit at one of the desks or in the corner curled up in a ball. Tsuchigomori doesn’t comment on it, but he might give him a blanket and some candy, or a book to read

• Hanako tries to go to Tsuchigomori for advice on Nene, but Tsuchigomori’s love life is, frankly, pathetic, so really he’s the one who needs advice

• Some of the only times Hanako isn’t floating is when he’s running in the halls to provoke Tsuchigomori

• Every year on Father’s Day, Hanako brings Tsuchigomori a rock. He started this tradition as Amane and has kept it up all these years

• That’s not to say he didn’t love his bio dad, but he wanted to show appreciation for the teacher that looked out for him too

• Before they left school at the end of every day, Tsukasa would thank Tsuchigomori for “babysitting” Amane

• Hanako’s favorite books are the Sherlock Holmes series so Tsuchigomori lets him know every time the school gets a new copy

• He used to draw little smiley faces on Amane’s papers when he’d get a perfect score

• Amane would stay after school for tutoring even though he didn’t need it whenever things got too tense at home with Tsukasa and his parents

• Hanako frequently asks Tsuchigomori to update him on recent scientific discoveries. If anything major happens, Tsuchigomori will give him reading material

• Amane strikes me as one of those kids who ate lunch with the teacher (ik it’s common for Japanese students to eat in their classrooms but this would be true even when his other classmates decided to eat somewhere else for the day)

• Before Nene came along, Tsuchigomori would encourage Hanako to clean his own bathrooms by giving him science and mystery books as allowance

• For Christmas one year, Tsuchigomori bought Hanako a toy rocket

• When Hanako needs to be cheered up, Tsuchigomori and Yako will play astronaut with him. Sometimes Yako pretends to be an alien, sometimes she’s part of the space crew, it depends on the plot

• Whenever Tsuchigomori is showing his class a movie, Hanako will sit in and watch

• Tsuchigomori has absolutely written “a pleasure to have in class” on one of Amane’s report cards

also the fact that you can handle supernaturals by yourself does really help him , he knows you'll be just fine and doesn't have much to worry about , though at the end he will always check you for some injuries. When he sends Yashiro to destroy the yorishiros he asks you to cover her back

Sometimes he tries to save you and kill off the supernatural before you do and take you in his arms so it can seem like the prince saving the princess kind of scenario ( we all know you'll be the prince and him the princess )

; kou :

you're like the opposite of him and he adores it ; he loves you and your calm attitude and how it contrasts with his energetic one , you always help him to calm himself down and it works !! Even Teru adores you and always asks you to keep an eye on his brother so that he doesn't get himself in some troubles.

The fact that you can handle supernaturals even if you're not an exorcist amazes him more , he's always shocked to see you fighting bad spirits and looking cool while you do it , though even if he knows that you can handle yourself he tries to protect you anyway

he wants you to protect him from the supernaturals even if he's literally a school mistery ... but the anxiety of you getting hurt because of him makes his " skill " ( ? ) protect you ; he will start to say how much strong he was for protecting you and such when he was just shitting his pants tbh

he " lives " to try to piss you off , just like his brother but worse ; sure he loves your behavior but at the end its not really funny for him to see you always calm and collected ; its in his nature to piss off people after all

He wants to see you fighting supernaturals so bad , he'll watch your moves with sparkles in his eyes and when you win he'll hug you and compliment you. Though if he sees you are in difficulty he'll slay the supernatural with a single move and act like nothing happened
