Bonnie Blues

She's a teddy bear;

without a care in the world.

Soft, with pearls in her eyes,

as she lies down and stares at me,

as I daydream, as I rot in my bed.

I'm the only one dead, yet the only one that breathes.

Bonnie Blues;

the love that comes down from above when there's no love to choose from.

The perfect muse for the princess and the peas girls,

the perfect ruse of people-pleasing.

When I seethe at the world, there she comes.

she's an eternal hue, one almost maternal.

But still forgotten, amongst all of the rotten things in the world.

Here as a comfort but a reminder, a white liar as she transforms.

She sits here, as she slits the throat,

of all of the years I've grown, then thrown,

and hugs me goodnight.

reminds me of the the colourful cartoons,

the daisy chains, the pretty rain.

She reminds me of before I became dripping wet, with tears,

before my heart could race,

before my sex could drive me to ambivalent places.

Where the bees and the birds kill each other because they refuse to learn,

where there's people that snort blurred lines and wear layered faces,

who don't know what to say,

so the 14th is just another day.

You are wrong. There is nothing to debate here. If you genuinely, wholeheartedly believe that liking a fucking cartoon means you support real life sexual assault then you need to touch grass. I specify sexual assault bcuz those type of fans never seem to gaf abt, like, murder and genocide which is a little bit hilarious to me. But also equating something that happened in a tv show to real life violence is incredibly insulting to people who have actually been victims of those crimes and, quite frankly, it’s just a senseless thing to believe that is going to slowly rot your brain and distort the way you view the world. Yes, fiction affects reality. But that relationship is not so direct that someone’s blorbos should be seen as a reflection of their moral character

“It’s weird” not everything you find uncomfortable is an actual moral issue. I really don’t want to be one of those people but oh my godddddddd please leave your house for once in your life. Watch a movie with someone who isn’t chronically online and see how little they gaf about the fandom discourse topics you have moralized

And listen, I know I’m tweaking here. I know I’m getting way too pissed but I have truly lost my patience for stupid people. Most of them are probably kids who will grow out of it but I have seen this same bullshit from grown ass adults too so not everybody has that excuse. Please use your brains. That thing in your head. DAY 14: Shijima Mei (Toilet Bound Hanako-kun)

Hanako-kun's artwork is stylistically distinct, colourful, and really cute but also appropriately menacing when the tone calls for it. I like this story a lot though MY TWO FAVOURITES HAVEN'T SHOWN UP FOR A WHILE NOW………… Shijima Mei I will never forget you.

Fate also plays with the same rules of "the rumours of the living affect the perception of the dead" and it bangs as always. Shijima was born from a simple and hopeful wish to draw, but ended up being the medium for twisted rumours of people looking to make a creepy story out of Mei's death… It's always really interesting when a character is created specifically for the sake of someone else and lives faithfully by those rules to their own detriment or tries to break free of them… There's a lot of different paths those stories can go. It's lovely.
