: ̗̀➛ Yugi had never seen you around before. You didn’t go to his university and when he was in school, he hadn’t seen you there either. Nevertheless, his mouth became dry and his face flushed the second you walked through the door. 

: ̗̀➛ You explained to Yugi your situation. The tri-colour haired male had offered you help to create a formidable deck. He picked out all sorts of monster, spells and trap cards. 

: ̗̀➛ “Thank you so much Mr….” You trailed off, realising you hadn’t gotten his name. 

: ̗̀➛ “Moto. Yugi Moto,” he said proudly. 

: ̗̀➛ You went pale. THE King Of Games?! 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi couldn’t help but feel his heart beat faster as your lips curved up to offer him a shy smile. 

: ̗̀➛ “What’s your name?” He asked, wanting to keep you there for a few minutes longer. 

: ̗̀➛ “Y/N,” you replied. 

: ̗̀➛ “It’s nice to meet you Y/N,” Yugi smiled and offered out his hand for you to shake. 

: ̗̀➛ From that day on, Yugi was seeing you everywhere. It was like he couldn’t escape you both in his mind and in reality. 

: ̗̀➛ He told his friends about you, the beautiful woman that had come into his Grandfather’s shop in search of the perfect deck. Of course Yugi’s friends continuously encouraged him to ask you out the next time he saw you. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi was unsure of what to do. He wanted to ask you out, he really did, but he was afraid of rejection. 

: ̗̀➛ The next time Yugi saw you was, once again, in his Grandfather’s Game Shop. 

: ̗̀➛ You walked in in a huff, looking distressed. Yugi became immediately worried upon seeing your distressed expression. “Y/N… What’s wrong?” He asked as he made his way to the front of the counter. 

: ̗̀➛ “I can’t play this stupid game!” You groaned, throwing your cards on the floor in a pile. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi was slightly taken back by your… tantrum. 

: ̗̀➛ “You can. Everyone can. The trick is to believe in the heart of the cards!” Yugi replied. 

: ̗̀➛ “The heart of the what?” You asked, crinkling your nose up in confusion. 

: ̗̀➛ “The heart of the cards!” Yugi said, pausing before continuing. “As long as you believe in your cards, and have faith in them, you can never truly lose.” 

: ̗̀➛ You stared at Yugi as if he had three heads. You watched as he slowly bent down and scooped up your cards into a neat little pile, passing them to you with a gentle smile on his face. 

: ̗̀➛ “I can teach you,” Yugi offered. 

: ̗̀➛ You were shocked. 

: ̗̀➛ “You? The King Of Games? Teach me? A nobody?” 

: ̗̀➛ You couldn’t help but laugh slightly out of surprise, but when you looked at Yugi and saw a serious expression on his face, you halted the laughter immediately. 

: ̗̀➛ “I guess it couldn’t hurt…” You mumbled, shuffling your feet on the floor. 

: ̗̀➛ “Great. We’ll start tomorrow.” 

: ̗̀➛ The next day, at noon, you met Yugi at the Game Shop. He started by teaching you the basics of the game, what sorts of monsters did what, what spells and traps did what etc etc. You were listening intently, making mental note of all the things Yugi was saying to you. From that day on, the two of you became inseparable. 

: ̗̀➛ The next few weeks flew by so quickly, it was as if you had just blinked. With Yugi’s teachings you were becoming increasingly better at the game of Duel Monsters. By no means were you an expert, but you were getting better. 

: ̗̀➛ “That was a great game! Well done!” Yugi encouraged. He felt his breath hitch in his throat as you offered him a warm smile in return. 

: ̗̀➛ You see, over the last few weeks, Yugi had developed feelings for you and more than just the initial crush he had on you when you had first walked into the Game Shop. He was falling in love with you. You had gotten to learn all about him and in turn, he had gotten to learn all about you.

: ̗̀➛ His friends words constantly echoed in his head: “ask her out Yug’! What’s the worst that could happen?” So, Yugi took the plunge. 

: ̗̀➛ “Say Y/N…” he said, watching as you placed your deck of cards in your pocket and hand him the duel disk he so kindly lent you. You looked at him and tilted your head to the side as if to say ‘yes’. “Would you… Maybe… Like to accompany me to dinner? Tonight?” 

: ̗̀➛ You were surprised to say the least but didn’t think of it as anything more than a friendly dinner. “Sure,” you smiled.  

: ̗̀➛ Yugi was shocked at your willingness to have dinner with him, but tried to keep it cool. He watched as you left the Game Shop and immediately began preparing for the evening. He booked a reservation at his favourite restaurant and dressed up all fancy for you. 

: ̗̀➛ When you turned up at the Game Shop at 7pm, like you had agreed, Yugi was breath taken by your appearance. He always thought you were beautiful but there was something about tonight… He couldn’t put his finger on it, you looked even more stunning than usual. 

: ̗̀➛ When you arrived at the restaurant, Yugi immediately found a candle-lit table in the corner of the room and led you to it, pulling out the chair from the table and offering you a seat. 

: ̗̀➛ You blushed as he did this, a gesture you had never had from anybody before.

: ̗̀➛ Throughout the night, he ordered you some of his favourite foods and you just talked about anything and everything. You learnt even more about him, about how he got so good at card games, his family life… everything. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi found himself falling further and further in love with you as the night went on. 

: ̗̀➛ Eventually, the two of you left the restaurant and Yugi walked you home. 

: ̗̀➛ When you reached your home, Yugi took your hand in his. “I had fun with you tonight,” he stuttered. “We should do it again.” 

: ̗̀➛ You grinned, your heart fluttering against your chest at the thought of dining with him again. You nodded excitedly. 

: ̗̀➛ “Can I… Can I kiss you?” He asked. His eyes widened as soon as the words left his lips, but before he could take it back you pressed your lips to his firmly. 

: ̗̀➛ Immediately, Yugi closed his eyes, letting himself fall further into the moment. His hands rubbed your forearms comfortingly and you hummed into the kiss. 

: ̗̀➛ When you pulled away, you looked into Yugi’s eyes and bit your lip. “I liked that,” you smiled. 

: ̗̀➛ He laughed. “I liked that too.” 

: ̗̀➛ You said goodnight and walked into your home with a racing heart and red face. 

: ̗̀➛ The next few weeks were filled with dates and surprises from Yugi but your Duel Monsters training never stopped. In fact, he seemingly pushed you harder, but this time would give you kisses as rewards. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi introduces you to his friends a week after your first date. His heart is just so full of love that he has to introduce you to the people he cares about the most in the world. 

: ̗̀➛ His friends immediately become your friends. You click with them so well, it was as if you had known them all your whole life. 

: ̗̀➛ News got out about you dating the King Of Games and soon enough, you both become the ‘Duel Monsters power couple’. Even though you were nowhere near as good as Yugi, wherever his name went, yours did too. 

: ̗̀➛ His Grandfather absolutely adores you. He also teaches you a thing or two about Duel Monsters. 

: ̗̀➛ You move in with Yugi and his Grandfather a few months into your relationship. It was Yugi’s idea, but you were more than willing to agree. You just wanted to be around him. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi proposes to you early on too. He has never met someone he had been in love with before, and he never wanted to ever again. You’re the woman of his dreams and he doesn’t want to let you go. 

: ̗̀➛ You get pregnant before you get married. You end up having a baby boy and Yugi wants to call him Solomon, after his Grandfather. You agree, but end up calling him ‘Sol’ for short. 

: ̗̀➛ Having a baby is NOT easy, so you and Yugi focus on raising baby Sol before anything. You decide to get married when Solomon is five years old. 

: ̗̀➛ The ceremony is lovely, filled with both of your friends and family.

: ̗̀➛ Afterwards, you have a party that ends late into the night. 

: ̗̀➛ Yugi and yourself head back to a hotel, with Yugi’s Grandfather taking care of your son. 

: ̗̀➛ You and Yugi go on to have two more children, of which you get to name.

yugi moto

-> yugi would jump at the opportunity to teach you how to duel. at this point, it stands as one of his love languages, so expect him to be a bit giddy about it.

-> one day after classes he brings you to the game shop and his grandpa can immediately tell from the smile on his face that it's you that has him this happy. after introducing you to him, yugi asks if his grandpa has any starter decks you can use to learn with. as grandpa moto goes to search for one, yugi takes the opportunity to point out certain cards on display, telling you about their mechanics and histories as if he's an expert on them. you note how animated he gets about them and it's honestly so cute how passionate he is; it even gets you pumped up a little.

-> grandpa moto hands off the started deck and the two of you retreat to the upstairs unit and to his room. once settled, he starts laying down the ground rules, showing you the basics with his own deck before starting up a practice duel. At certain points he'll show you different ways you can play strategies to get the best outcome, coaching you until you get the hang of it. yugi let's you make mistakes on your own but points them out so that you don't end up doing them again.

-> he's the kind of teacher to walk you through things carefully - not necessarily hold your hand the entire way, but he knows it can be intimidating to be thrown in on the deep end with no support, so he takes his time. it takes a couple days of coming over to his place and practicing with the spare deck until most of the rules and basics stick to your brain, and pretty soon, you gain the confidence to duel him without his guidance, and even in school during lunch or down time in front of people (youd been previously embarrased to do so bc of your amateurity)

-> honestly, seeing you grow comfortable with dueling and loving the game just as much as him makes him admire like you ten times more. the disappointment he feels when you beat him is quickly replaced, if it wasn't feigned all along, with a sense of pride that this is the very unique and special connection he has with you, and he definitely cherishes it.

jaden yuki

-> so like.....if you want to learn *seriously* how to duel, don't go to this guy. jaden's whole shtick is having fun and feeling the adrenaline that comes with dueling, the high that he gets is unlike any other and unique to him in his eyes, and so mainly, he's gonna focus on the more fun side of dueling instead of the actual logistics of it.

-> it did come as the consequence of a dare, so you can't really blame him for not taking it seriously at first. It was either that, or sneak into the obelisk blue dorm and take a dip in the obnoxiously large pool they have - and jaden was already in the hot seat and couldn't risk any more shenanigans at the moment.

-> that is to say, he's not necessarily a *bad* teacher. he's just not the kind of guy to be all....teacher-y about it. He's gonna make it fun and engaging, but you're gonna have to be the one asking the questions and taking the lead on your duel monsters learning.

-> for jaden, he's gonna lean more into the 'dive head first' kind of strategy. he'll wanna start a duel up right away, and while you don't necessarily understand what's going on, you trust jaden enough to follow his lead on things, and gradually, you pick up on certain things based on his own dueling strategy. the easier parts, such as setting traps and spells and basic summoning techniques, gravitate to you quickly, and jaden gets more excited the faster you pick it up, since it means the duel itself can pick up speed.

-> jaden does give you feedback though, and this is obviously after he's went wild and had his fun. I think he'd make jokes about your mistakes so you won't feel bad about them and to alleviate any pressure you may be feeling. after all, dueling is suppose to be fun (such a shocker compared to the world they live in). but over all, jaden makes sure you experience the fun that comes with dueling while still showing you the basics so that they stick.

-> the first time you beat jaden, he's honestly kind of dumbfounded...and so are you. neither of you realize what's happened after a few minutes, but when you do, of course jaden's initial response is for a rematch. you think it's because he wants to see if you can do it again, and while that's partially true...he also just wants to one up you and get that adrenaline rush again. it turns into a long-winded back and forth thing throughout the duration of your time at duel academy - you beating him, he beating you - until your last duel ends in a draw and you ultimately call a truce.

-> jaden thinks youre the only one who can match his energy during a duel and thats what really spurs him on. it's only natural that since he's the one that taught you, you'd have a more spontaneous style to the game, and that's what jaden seeks out during duels - someone to keep up with him and to keep the energy alive. believe it or not jaden gets a teeny hit jealous when you show that kind of energy to someone else in a duel. you find him pouting like a puppy and when you ask what's wrong, he just says "nothin'" because even he doesn't know why he acts like that, until Cyrus starts teasing him about potentially liking you....and it starts becoming a serious accusation the more Jaden refuses to respond to them.

yusei fudo

-> now don't hate me ... and don't hate him, but yusei is the kind of teacher who makes you work for it. hes not gonna give you the answer ir explain things to you right away, because to him it takes away the the whole point of learning how to duel *your* way. there's never gonna always be someone in your corner giving you a play by play for each turn, so you have to be able think fast and critically on your own to survive in a real duel.

-> it comes about as a sort of 'service exchange' - he needs help with some diagnostic software runs on his duel runner, and in exchange, he teaches you the fundamentals of dueling, as you've never actually learned even though you've been running with his crew for some time. so he deems it about time you learned (y'know, now that there isnt an imminent threat of world destruction to stop you).

-> he'll either tell you constantly "youre not suppose to do that" over and over again, or when you make a suspicious or an off move, he'll ask "why'd you do that?" and it lowkey frustrates you, because you're not being told exactly what's wrong so you can fix it. he doesn't let you get frustrated to the point where you get pissed off and want to stop, though - he'll ask you different questions to gage your thinking before showing you how it's done on his end. that mostly means you losing the practice duels, though, but you don't mind, as with each match, you learn a little more, until you can finally take him in a hand-to-hand duel without any guidance.

-> turbo dueling is a completely different beast though - one that damn near gets you in the hospital. Granted, you've only ridden Yusei's bike a handful of times in situations that were also life or death, so you're not completely experienced with it. of course, he's smart, and has you ride it around a couple of times to get the feel of it before having the speed world spellcard engage. though both of you quickly learn that with the added pressure of maintaining speed as well as focusing on driving and playing the game was too much....so you both agree that maybe turbo dueling isn't for you just yet.

-> yusei always makes time to have a duel with you if you ask him. given the amount of times he's had to duel for the sake of the world, it's definitely a change of pace just having a tabletop duel for fun. he's also always on the lookout for cards that could be useful for whatever kind of deck you intend to build for yourself, and even asks the twins about any new releases in the city that you might be interested in. akin to his silent caring personality, he'll also gift you a duel disk of your own, fitted to your arm size and adjustable as well.

-> you better believe this guy gets extremely excited when you win a duel, whether it be against him or anyone else. he may be a bit of a hard teacher, but it's all so rewarding in the end when you can stand on your own against an opponent; especially with those endearing acts of praise like a nice pat on the head, shoulder, or back and even a tight bear hug. the guys may tease him a bit for always having a smile on his face whenever he's in the stands watching you duel, but it falls on deaf ears to yusei, who's always gonna sport a neverending smile of pride

But, since you wanted to wait until the two of you were married, he respected that wish, showing his affection in any way he could think of (flowers just because, kisses and hugs and gentle touches that he knew made you melt)

You'd been feeling extremely nauseous lately, most days beginning either with that feeling or by throwing up.

Unlike Yugi, he hadn't really given kids much thought

But, he noticed the way your eyes lingered on children running past while the two of you were dating

After about two years, the question came up in a conversation the two of you had about the future

He admitted that he hadn't thought about it, but that he loved you and if he were to have children, he wanted them to be with you

About 2 years later, the two of you were married, and anxiously waiting for the results of a pregnancy test

Yeah, so we kind of already know how Yugi would act around his crush, what with his little crush on Téa. I think that his crush on her was a bit of puppy love, though. Like an ‘oh a girl is talking to me on a regular basis’ teenage boy kind of crush. We know he blushes and stutters around her, typical for his shy personality at the start of the series.

He gets more comfortable around people as the series goes on, and definitely gains more confidence. I do think some of his shyness would come back if he were to get a crush on someone, though.

He’s not sure how to approach his crush at first, especially if he’s totally charmed by them. Will lose his train of thought around them and forget how to speak around them haha.

Kind of beats himself up a bit for not being able to relax around them. Really wants to get to know them, so he often hangs around them. He wants to impress them though, so if they’re into gaming then he’ll kind of try to show off a bit around them, just a bit. He has... varying levels of success with that.

Yami Yugi:

Alright so Yami needs advice. He goes to Yugi of course, asking about the person he’s got a crush on. He’s not used to these kinds of feelings, and at first he’s not even certain it IS a crush. Yugi teases him about it, much to Yami’s embarrassment.

Alright, so he’s got a crush. Nothing he can do about it. He probably doesn’t plan to confess any time soon honestly. He won’t pursue romance really, he’d just kind of play it cool around his crush.

Sometimes he’d probably get a bit awkward around them, like how do you not get a bit flustered sometimes? It’s to be expected. Then he gets annoyed about it because he didn’t want to show it. He makes this annoyed blushing face that borders on a pout. Pretty adorable.

Yugi tells him to confess, but he’d stew on his feelings for a LONG time before he even thinks about it. He doesn’t want to put any pressure on his crush, and unless he was somehow able to stay in Domino City for good, I’m not sure he’d ever confess.

Joey Wheeler:

He cannot interact with his crush without doing or saying something extremely embarrassing. Ever. He just blunders in, some vague idea of impressing them, and ends up making it awkward.

You wanna see him win this duel? He can’t take his eyes of his crush though, trying to see if he’s impressing them. The poor guy probably ends up losing the duel and ends up looking like a kicked puppy.

He wants to just play it cool, but let’s be real, he’s far from cool. Sorry Joey, you’re just trying too hard. Once he gets to know his crush a bit better, I think he’d calm down enough to approach them more as friends.

I think he’d step up and awkwardly confess to his s/o after a relatively short pining phase. He just wants to get it out of the way. If they’re interested then awesome, but if they’re not, he can move on with his life and stop making a fool of himself ^^;

Téa Gardner:

She’s a bit awkward, but a bit flirty. When she knows what she wants, she doesn’t bother hiding it. If her crush doesn’t know she has a crush on them, they’d have to be pretty damn oblivious.

She always invites them to things, wanting to spend time with them and integrate them into her friendship group. She loves her friends, and she wants her crush to love them too.

Honestly I don’t think it would take long for Téa to invite them on a date. She’s not too shy, but she’d definitely be a bit flustered as she asked them out.

Always makes time for her crush if they need a shoulder to lean on or someone to talk to (actually that applies to all her friends honestly). She’s super supportive of whatever her crush wants to do in life, and will encourage them enthusiastically. She’s got her own dreams to pursue, and she’d be happy to see her crush pursuing theirs.

Seto Kaiba:

Kaiba? Have a crush? Please, you must be joking. Seto Kaiba does not get crushes. Not ever. Not even a little bit. That person that makes him feel some kind of way is certainly not a crush. Yeah, so denial. That’s the first reaction.

He denies it for a long time, too. He’ll accidentally get flustered around his crush, blush, get angry, say something mean and then leave. Then rinse and repeat the next time he sees his crush. His crush honestly probably thinks he hates them.

Will low-key try to impress them if they’re ever watching him duel. Shows off a bit and smirks if they seem impressed. Will also show off his inventions and gadgets, with the pretense that he’s showing them to a lot of people, but he really just wants his crush to see them.

Accidentally compliments them sometimes, or tells them that they’re “not like the other riff-raff” or something like that. Then gets flustered as he realised what he said. Probably comes across as a tad arrogant, but for once he’s not trying to seem like he’s better than everyone else. He really just doesn’t know how to approach his crush... I mean.... totally-not-a-crush.

Ever the sweet gentlemen, it’s almost comical how he initially brushes off his feelings. It’s without a doubt that Yugi won’t immediately recognize his feelings for her. 

In all honesty, he sees himself in her and wants nothing more than to protect her and to provide her with a safe haven to go to if things get too rough. 

Yugi initially pushes off the emotions as those of a protective brother, but as time passes he slowly begins to realize his sudden infatuation with her. The dorky personality she holds becoming an endearing trait to him.

He’s almost just as awkward-- if not more so when he’s in the midst of confessing to her. 

Yugi may not be as brash as his friends, but he isn’t afraid to stand up for her or to tell someone off if they happen to pick on her. 

Before establishing their relationship, practically everyone in their friend group had assumed that they were dating. Though when Yugi explained to them they weren’t they interrogated him in regards to his feelings for her.

It was during that time that he fully realized how much she meant to him.

Someone who’ll treat her like an absolute queen. Unlike his counterpart, Yami thrives off of her kind heart and dorky personality. To him, it’s not only sweet and unique to her, but a breath of fresh air upon re-emerging into the world.

He’s a lot more confident with his words and tone. Despite this, he’s just as awkward-- if not more so when the two are alone together. He tends to be a tad more shy and easily embarrassed, and honestly basks in the moments he has with her when they both laugh and joke about the awkward atmosphere.

It is without a doubt that Yami is protective of her. Besides wanting to be a strong influence in her life, he can’t hold back the urge to be her knight in shining armor when he picks out the people choosing to tease or pick on her.

Other then that, he’s strong and obvious in his feelings for her and will do whatever he can to properly portray his emotions. (Even if they can be confusing a majority of the time.)

ᴊᴏᴇʏ ᴡʜᴇᴇʟᴇʀ

Rambunctious and energetic, Joey doesn’t think much of his emotions for her. Similar to Yugi, he’ll brush it off as sibling love instead of something more.

Though with the consistent teasing from his friends and the obvious jabs they make at him, Joey can’t help but take a moment to reconsider how he truly feels about her.

In any situation that she may be in danger or being picked on, he’s there immediately with anger in his eyes and his fists clenched to sucker punch the first bully he sees.

It’s only after he has a serious sit down talk with Yugi that he finally has a proper idea about how he truly feels about her. 

Afterwards, he becomes a lot more flustered and clumsy around her. His gaze is consistently on her, a soft and adoring look that never seems to leave his eyes whenever she speaks. 

ᴛʀɪꜱᴛᴀɴ ᴛᴀʏʟᴏʀ

Awkward and a bit of chaotic neutral, Tristan will initially be wary of his emotions. It’s only after another confirmation when he sees her smile at him that he fully embraces the crush he’s garnered.

Unlike his friends, Tristan is not only confident in his emotions and persona, but considerate of the timing and situation that they all may be facing. 

Similar to Joey, he’s fiercely protective of her and won’t hesitate to jump right into danger or into a fight that he knows he may not win. 

Tristan won’t hesitate to knock some sense into someone who tries to tease or use her as a punching bag. However, instead of going straight in with his fists, he’ll attempt to reason with them before throwing a strong punch.

ᴛᴇᴀ ɢᴀʀᴅɴᴇʀ

Strong willed and sweet, Tea will most likely be unsure of her emotions initially. For her, she’s harbored these feelings for her since they first met and built a solid relationship, and she can’t help but feel conflicted.

Eventually, she comes to terms with her emotions and with the help of the rest of the friend group, she eases into her confession. 

Not one for bullying or teasing of any type, Tea is always by her side ready to sharply give a witty comeback if someone attempts to tease her. 

It’s without a doubt that Tea absolutely adores her dorky personality, and like the others, finds it absolutely endearing. 

ʀʏᴏᴜ ʙᴀᴋᴜʀᴀ

Soft spoken and shy, Ryou will most likely hold in his emotions after he realizes his crush on her. Due to his past, he’ll feel as though he doesn’t deserve to be with her. Mainly in fear of possibly hurting her, but after hanging around the gang and getting proper consultation and help he’s slowly come out of his shell.

Ryou is consistent with his gentlemen manners, and will show subtle ways of courting her. Though he may not be as outspoken in situations where she’s being picked on, he will most definitely pull her to the side to remind her that she has help and friends who are more than willing to help consolidate the situation.

Similar to Joey, he’ll become a lot more shy and easily flustered around her. Despite this, he tries his very best to uphold a calm facade in order to soak up the happy adorable dorky rays of sunshine that bounce off from her.

"I'm sorry Yugi! I'm not much of a challenge!" (Y/n) whimpered slightly, putting down a trap card that she barely knew anything about and ending her turn. Yugi smiled from across the way. "It's okay, (Y/n)! You can only get better by continuing to duel." His cheeks were lightly read and he could feel the Pharoh smirking at him. It is strange that they could feel each other's expressions but it was just another part of life with him.

He was surprised when she had asked him to teach her to duel. Not that he minded. He had a crush on (Y/n) ever since she moved to Domino. (Y/n) and Tea were who he dreamed of asking out. Often causing moral dilemmas for the boy. When he told Joey he had suggested dating both and claiming one was dating the Pharoh but Yugi instantly shut that one down. Pharoh doesn't have much to say on matters of the heart beyond friends and games.

It also wasn't like he could ask Tea for advice on herself.

They were both so cute, even as his dark magician took her last 100 life points from her.

She hung her head slightly in disappointment. Yugi couldn't help but smile, sure she wasn't battle city material but she had gotten better since the last time.

Asdfghjkl I hope this is a reader insert blog bc if it is I'm very excited!! If this prompt is inspiring for either of you, could we get something where Yami develops feelings for Yugi's friend (the reader) and his yandere urges starts spreading to Yugi, or maybe Yami tries to convince Yugi to give into his own yandere feelings for the reader, I just love the idea of Yami kinda "corrupting" Yugi and the reader getting caught up in it, ya know? It was late at night, Yugi was just laying on his bed doing his usual thing, stalking your social media of course! He felt Yami's presence also staring at his phone. All was good until he saw it, the photo that shattered his heart into millions of pieces, the photo of you and your significant other.

Yugi felt so many things run through his head at once, he couldn't think straight. His stomach started to hurt, next thing he knew he was sobbing into a pillow, he dreaded the day you'd get a significant other who was someone other than him, he had a feeling that this was bound to happen eventually, but why does it hurt so much?

After a few minutes it was quiet, with Yugi occasionally sniffling from his crying, after a few seconds, Yami broke the silence.

"Crying won't fix anything, Yugi."

Yugi looked over at him "W-what did you just say.." he said, wiping tears off his face. "You heard me, you're really going to sit here and cry and let this happen?" Yami said, staring at Yugi and the pillow he still held tightly. "Well.. what can I do?! She looks so much happier with them!" He started, "way happier then she is with me.." he mumbled, looking down at the pillow he was sobbing into. "There is something you can do, Yugi." Yami said, smirking, "Get rid of the issue."

Yugi stared at him confused, he had a feeling about what he meant by "the issue" but.. he didn't mean- "..what do you mean..?" He hesitantly asked, "I believe you know exactly what I mean, Yugi." Yami said, so it was Yugi's suspicion.. "Yami.. I can't! I can't hurt someone! You know how I hate fighting and violence!-" Yugi started to ramble, as much as he wanted to hurt the "issue", he couldn't, especially with how short he is.. Yami got close to Yugi and whispered, "Well I can." Yugi stared at him puzzled, followed by a "..huh?" Yami sighed, "Do you want Y/N to be with someone who could hurt her?" Yugi shot up in a panic at the thought of someone hurting you, "No! Never!" he yelled, "Then we need to fix it, I know they're a horrible person, and I know you know that too." Yami said sternly, "Besides, why would you feel bad for someone who would hurt Y/N?" He asked, Yugi looked down again, and thought for a moment before sighing, "I guess you're right.." Yami smiled, "I'm always right."

Yami then took control, he quietly went down the stairs, not to wake up his grandpa, he went to the kitchen quietly, grabbing a large kitchen knife, Yugi started to panic, "Y-Yami! What are you going to do with that?!" Yami smirked, "Yugi, this is how you deal with that issue." Yugi was scared, but he trusted Yami, but he didn't know he'd do this.. he quietly made his way out the door, "Where are we going?" Yugi asked, but Yami didn't reply. He just walked with his head down, clenching the knife hard, Yugi debated on asking if he was okay, was he also upset about the whole ordeal? Only god knows what he'd do with that knife..

Yugi was confused, he didn't recognize this path, where are they going? What were they gonna do there? "..Yami.. what are we doing here?" Yami seemed to snap out of his anger, as he went to the window of the house and looked inside. "Look, that's why we're here." Yami said in anger, Yugi went blank, he just stared through the window, anger boiling inside him, it’s been a long time ever since he felt this way. Even Yami couldn't believe what he saw, they both stared into the window and saw Y/N and that menace doing.. well.. spicy activities.

Now, Yami knew what he was doing, making Yugi look through the window, purposely making him mad, and possibly driving him to "deal with the issue", but he wasn't expecting this, not at all, but he knows he can use this to his advantage. They both sat there, waiting for the two "love birds" to be done, once they both stopped, that was Yami's que.

He allowed Yugi to take control, next thing Yugi knew, he was standing outside the window, knife clenched in hand. He jumped at the sight, nearly dropping the knife, "Yugi, calm down!" Yami scolded, whispering so they wouldn't be heard. "Now, what you're going to do is look inside until you see Y/N leave." Yami instructed. Yugi hesitatingly nodded, he carefully looked through the window, and after many minutes of worry of being seen and Yami having to snap him out of his fantasies with you, you finally got up to another room and he heard the shower running, now was his que.

"Yugi, now." Yami instructed.

In one swift motion, he opened the window and jumped into the room. He saw that menace who took his Y/N, "Who the fuck are you?!" They screamed, Yugi just glared at them, raising the knife clenched in his hands. "Do it Yugi, kill them." He swore he heard Yami say, and he did just that. In one quick motion to the stomach, they were dead on the bed.

Yugi smiled at his work, he at first had doubts, but that did release some anger he had, a lot actually. He felt Yami was proud of him also, "Good job Yugi, I'll take it from here." He said, taking control. They were both surprised Y/N didn't hear anything, but that was a good thing, especially now that "the issue" is gone.

..until they heard the door creak open..

Yami turned around slowly, seeing a frightened Y/N, "..What did you do.." you stuttered out, he slowly approached you, trying to not seem as frightening as you made him out to be. No matter how much he tried you knew one thing, you had to run.

You swiftly turned around and ran, you didn't exactly have an escape plan, maybe the front door? Yeah, that'd work.

The house seemed so much bigger than before, the front door seemed so much farther now, every turn and step was filled with adrenaline, it was almost hard to control.

Yami nearly didn't make it, until Yugi took control, he was able to jump on you just in time. You screamed and thrashed in his grip, you nearly had one of your wrists out of his hands until Yami took control again, what's with this man and constantly switching?! Due to his strength, he was able to knock you out and he carefully picked you up.

"And that Yugi, is how you take care of "the issue"."

If requests are still going may I request an s/o who has there own Millennium piece but there ears rings and work like yugis millennium puzzle but instead of switching during duels which they still do s/o tends to have black outs switching unaware the spirit living inside the ear rings are them but from the past (like in Ancient Egypt times like stem ) where a strong monster dueller and famous thief meaning they cause mischief?

Yugi Muto

Honestly the first thing he wants to do is communicate with the spirit that shares a body with you.

Since you were unaware of the spirit he wanted to make sure they were safe to be around. With so many spirits from the past after him due to his connection with Atem he didn't want to take chances especially with his s/o.

Once he realizes the spirit wasn't malicious just mischievous he is more friendly and easy going with the thief. They would text their skills against each other, and he'll they would teach him a thing or two.

Yugi accepted it as another part of you to love even if he has to stop them from swiping cards from his grandfather's shop.

Yami/Atem

As soon as the spirit made itself know he knew who they were. His memory may be in shambles, but he could never forget his beloved little Thief.

During their first duel in forever it was constant lovers banter. Poking fun of how time has changed them, their hosts, and how their during has changed.

However once the duel was finished no matter who won or lose. He couldn't help but embrace them, and he couldn't have been happier.

Feeling their warmth, and that they were still there with him after so many years? There was no better feeling.

Joey Wheeler

First off how many damn spirits are there?! Second how come you weren't aware of yours like everyone else? It was like you were in a coma when your spirit took over, and that worried him.

So for awhile he was skeptical of your spirit. If you don't remember anything they do, and they were a thief how could he trust them??

However as time progress the more comfortable he is with them. They even explained to him that you sleeping wasn't something you intended. Your body just could handle the two of them being active at the same time. So you slept while they took over.

The two even became good buddies. Alway pulling good natured pranks, and constantly challenging each other to duels. However your still his number one so is she harms you he will do whatever he can to protect you.

Tristan Taylor

Due to his experiences with spirits he won't judge them based on their appearance, but their actions. He won't lie though knowing that your asleep while they run around doing whatever to your body makes him nervous.

Much like his friend he will come around to them once they prove that they aren't there to cause harm to you or him. They were just there to help set things right like they promised years ago.

Him and the spirit don't duel like they do with the others due to him not being big on it. However he does like watching them in action. Watching you control the field always makes him so proud.

The spirit helps him with his Cardio due to constantly being on the run they were able to give him a lot of helpful insight l, and he is now able to run marathons with much trouble.

Duke Devlin

Much like Joey he wants to know why there ao many damn spirits! He just got introduced to this concept, and now they are popping up every time he turns around!

Though he doesn't have complaints when it comes to your spirit because he is biased . They surprisingly get along very well! Always pulling some sort of prank on one another, him teaching them to play Dungeon Dice Monsters™️, and them just having a good time.

Whenever the duel someone he always excitedly watches cheering for the two of you even though it just the spirit.

Whenever you switch back he always make sure your doing okay or if you need anything. He may like your spirit, but are his top priority.

Seto Kiba

Son of-!

I won't sugar coat this one. At first he was less then pleased to know not only did you share this crazy past lives notion like Yugi, but your "spirit" is a thief?! However once he learns that this isn't some crazy notion he is more open to the spirit.

He doesn't care for her pranks or thievery, but he admires he dueling skills. Didn't seem like years 6 feet under didn't rot their brain after all.

It's always a competition when I comes to those two, but at least they are getting along while your gone....sorta....kinda.

Bakura Ryou

When you first passed out in front of him he freaked out! Getting you to a soft place to lay, and checking your head for injury. However while he was examining you the Spirit emerged scaring the boy making him pass out.

Once it was all sorted and he got to know them he didn't mind them too much. They were nicer then Yami, and they seemed to calm Yami down when he got overly upset.

He is big on pranks but he enjoys watching how much fun they have pulling off said prank. Even though it's not you he still enjoys the smile they make for you.

Since Bakura doesn't duel much they don't practice together, but he joys watching them play and unless Yugi and them are there he will cheer for them out loud.

Yami Bakura

He was wondering when they would make it back to him. Honestly it was the whole reason why he was okay with you maybe even got a little crush on you. You reminded him so much of them that he always hoped they would appear.

Once the two were reunited they continued the plan to take down the Pharoah. They honestly didn't care if it was the right thing or not. As long as Bakura wanted it they were determined to get it.

He would often use their thief skills to steal things that would give him the upper hand.

Despite all of this he knows without them he wouldn't be as far as is now. So when the two are alone he showers them in all the love and adoration he has bottled up.

Marik Ishtar

Due to his past with his own spirit he is afraid for the two of you when they first show up. He couldn't bare the thought of you having to go through the same mistreatment so he constantly questioned them till he knew they wouldn't hurt you.

Your nicer then his spirit, but he doesn't like them any better then the start. He just tolerates them since the two of you are inseparable.

He knows what goes on between you and his Yami, and tries to stop them from doing anything that would out you into harm. It doesn't always work though.

When you come back he is almost like a doting mother. Fussing over any bruise or sometimes nothing at all. You just mean so much to him and he wants to make sure your okay.

Yami Marik

Seeing his puppet come back to him like it was fates will had him almost giddy. As soon as he sees them his hand is on their forearm while his other holds their chin.

"Welcome home my Queen/King."

Much like Yami Bakura he will use their thievery skills to his advantage. After all a good wife/husband should always help their husband right?

He is a little on the yandere side he lost them once, and he just wants to lake sure that never happens again. You are his precious Queen/king afterall.

How do you think Joey Wheeler would deal with having a s/o where Kaiba calls Joey a dog in front of s/o. later on Joey and s/o get to talking about the dog comment and s/o does agree that Joey does remind them of a dog much to his dismay, they won’t tell Kaiba cuz Joey would feel humiliated and they won’t treat him like an animal as well, it’s just sometimes they can see an imaginary tail wagging sometimes on him, but they’re like to Joey if he gets rowdy about them comparing him to talk, “who doesn’t love dogs? They’re funny, actually don’t always listen to you so things are interesting, loyal, depending on the breed is very intelligent”? (I’ve always wondered how this would go and curious what you think lol).

That's way too adorable! I think Joey would be really cute as a puppy! He would always waggle his tail and ask for hugs and treats. I actually kinda agreed with Seto when he called Joey "a dog" but not for the same reason. Joey is a very loyal and good friend, he gets easily excited and all he needs is support and love, just like a dog! 🌼❤️

Seto is known for his sarcastic personality and for not-so-friendly comments.

He is also known for having a rivalry with Joey.

So once you heard Seto calling Joey a dog, which made him furious. Later on while you were hanging out with him at your place, Joey actually talked to you about this. He said that Kaiba's comment made him feel humiliated.

The thing is Joey indeed reminds you of a dog. His whole face turned red from the embarrassment, he didn't like this at all.

Dogs are human's best friend. They are always loyal, no matter what. Always there to support their favorite human and accompany them throughout their journey. They also get excited about the smallest things which makes them so pure and adorable. They love to follow their human around because they are full of curiosity. Just like Joey!

When you explained all that to him he literally hid his face in his hands, you have never seen him being this shy before.

Truth is Joey loves following you around and accompany you whenever you go. You are sure that if he had a tail, he would waggle it every time he saw you or his friends. He is just adorable.

Also, everyone loves dogs. They are just too pure for this world and not to mention very smart!

Needless to say, Joey had been thinking about your words for the rest of the day with Yugi asking him every now and then why he would blush so much.
