#world trigger#runners up that i almost included but didn't have room for: kako-tai ouji-tai arafune-tai suwa-tai#who mostly don't get much screentime either but are all pretty popular in fandom so i didn't include them#+ suwa being a pretty major character in the latest arc of the manga

Hii!! I have a req for headcanon? It's about what the golden trio of border (izumi, yoneya, and midorikawa) just cause they're my fave Headcanon about what kind of chaos they'd do during their free time? I hope these are within your rules hehe ty!
*Emerges from dumpster* How long was I trapped in there? And how long has this ask been sitting in my inbox?? I'll blame the dumpster for how long its taken me to get to this...
So, obviously these three are not the smartest trio in Border, but they know that and decide to spread more kindness than almost anyone else in Border.
They also happen to be the biggest pranksters at Border, not that it's any surprise. They can convince almost anyone to get in on their pranks if they try hard enough.
One time they convinced Kazama to scare Suwa by using Chameleon and messing with him and the rest of the Mahjong buddies. Suwa ended up almost strangling the attacker, and in return the golden trio was subject to Kazama's torment for the next week.
When exam season starts they are desperate to find someone to tutor them last minute, usually being Kodera or Narasaka since they're the closest and the easiest to convince. Their grades lacking is partly due to them being Border agents, but also them just not paying attention in class.
Since Izumi and Yoneya are in the same class at school the pair are especially lacking since their antics are amplified whenever they're together. The others in their grade have tried to help, but once you get them talking about any videogame they like you won't see them think about anything else for the next hour.
Despite that Izumi does have potential to be a good student, and sometimes feigns being ignorant on something for attention (which the other two will call him out on).
Since Yoneya's operating room is always dominated by the snipers of the squad, and Izumi's operating room is Kunichika's domain, the trio are mostly seen relaxing in the Kusakabe operating room since Midorikawa's squadmates are more put together and not as stingy with guests.
They frequently have movie and game nights and invite as many people as they can without Kusakabe getting mad and kicking everyone out. Special guests to these nights include: Mr. Shinoda, Yuma, Yuba, Touma, and Karasuma who likes chatting with his old squad mate.
They would definitely tease each other about their crushes and even purposely embarrass them qin front of each other.

[ad_1] Rahul Giri in Guwahati to cover Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal clash in the ISL 2024/25 (PC: East Bengal, Mohun Bagan/X) Rahul Giri in Guwahati It was 10:30PM at a five-star hotel in Guwahati, and I was eagerly waiting for the East Bengal team to arrive, braving the chilly breeze as the temperature dipped to 13C. Within 10 minutes, the red-and-gold brigade’s bus entered the hotel premises, and as the players stepped out, their tired faces clearly reflected the fatigue of the journey. And why not? They had their final training session in Kolkata around 11AM, and had to board an 8PM flight due to some logistical complications. In contrast, the Mohun Bagan players appeared much more energetic when they arrived at the Guwahati airport around 5:30PM. They travelled in two batches and reached the city well ahead of East Bengal. Will this scheduling difference have any impact on the crucial derby game at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati? While it could be a factor, there are plenty of other reasons why the odds seem heavily stacked in Mohun Bagan’s favour. Yes, they will miss their reliable midfielder Anirudh Thapa due to a hamstring injury, but coach Jose Molina won’t be too worried, as he has ample options to replace him. On the other hand, East Bengal’s concerns are far more significant. They will be without key players like Anwar Ali and Saul Crespo, which puts immense pressure on their defence. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Guwahati set to host 2025’s first Kolkata Derby (Image: Mohun Bagan SG/East Bengal FC) East Bengal’s defensive performance was heavily criticised in their last game against Mumbai City FC. Now, without Anwar, the onus will be on Lalchungnunga, Hector Yuste, and Maher Hijazi to hold off Mohun Bagan’s relentless attack — especially if the Mariners replicate their attacking display from the Hyderabad FC game. Coach Oscar Bruzon might find some relief in the return of Souvik Chakraborty, who will partner Jeakson Singh in midfield. Souvik, a Bengal boy, knows the pulse of this derby better than most in the squad. However, for East Bengal to stand any chance, their attackers Cleiton Silva and Dimitrios Diamantakos will need to step up and deliver their best performances. Both Molina and Bruzon admitted in their pre-match press conferences that, despite the gap in the points table, the derby would be a 50-50 battle. But fans and experts believe otherwise. It’s hard to take the favourites tag away from Mohun Bagan. Still, East Bengal fans will cling to hope, trusting Bruzon’s tactical prowess. Time and again, he has managed to steer his team out of troubled waters, and they’ll be counting on him to do it once more in this derby. When the ball gets rolling at 7:30PM on Saturday, the atmosphere will undoubtedly feel different from the electrifying vibes of the Yuba Bharati Krirangan. With only 10,000 to 15,000 spectators expected at the stadium, the intensity will be missing. However, one thing will remain unchanged — both sides will be equally hungry to chase their respective ambitions in this fierce rivalry. ⚠️minor manga spoilers for the B-rank wars⚠️
Rating Border Combatants’ Uniforms B-Rank Edition (Part 2):
Nasu Squad: B-Rank 007

Rei Nasu. Squad Captain, Shooter, and fashion icon. She pulled off the greatest feat of design since Border’s founding. Something other squad captains can only dream of doing. Absolutely incredible. There isn’t another uniform that tops it. The futuristic vibes, the purple accents against the black and white, it’s everything. 1000/10.
Yuba Squad: B-Rank 008

70s off-duty cop vibes. The three neutral colors look weird together. Yuba just kind of looks like an asshole. Obishima was done so dirty. Yuba, get her in some high waisted pants and a cropped version of the jacket! She looks so awkward! 3/10.
Suzunari-1: B-Rank 009

Disgusting. The cropped jackets and Ko’s 3/4 sleeves do not work here. Honestly, 3/4 sleeves don’t work anywhere. Never wear a top with them. Whoever let these poor boys choose this look deserves a prison sentence. If you’re going to crop the jacket then you should either crop the shirt underneath or wear high-waisted bottoms. Otherwise you end up looking like that one girl in middle school whose mother was against crop tops so she made her wear a camisole underneath them. On top of that, the color choice looks weird with Ko and Tatsuya’s hair. Lastly, someone should take Taichi’s hat and burn it. 0/10
Arafune Squad: B-Rank 010

It’s giving me designer tracksuit vibes. Like I feel like its Louis Vuitton or something. Rin’s hair looks super good so bonus points for that. But we all know Arafune is super hot without the baseball cap. Give the people what they want. Let us see his hair. 7.5/10.
Katori Squad: B-Rank 011

I hate this. First, it’s canon that Katori purposely ripped off aspects of both Nasu Squad and Konami’s uniforms. Second, it’s just horrible. It fits the boys so awkwardly. It only sort of works on Katori because hers is a little different. It’s something straight out of my nightmares. It’s like if Barbie went to space (in a very bad way). 3/10.
Suwa Squad: B-Rank 012

The way this uniform is simultaneously a mess and also SO Suwa. Like if the look worked I’d be worried. It’s ugly as you can see, but also the mismatched undershirts just add that extra chaos to it. *Chef’s kiss* Ugly, but on theme. 5.5/10
Kizaki Squad: B-Rank 013

I like the matching headphones, but the color is no good. They look like traffic cones. The jacket design is boring. They should have at least added stripes or something. Plain, boring. 4/10.

WT Twitter Q&A 2022
The Official WT Twitter answered some question here:
Day1
Day2
Day3
Day4
Which I have translated to all who are curious:
Q. Who was the operator of the old Azuma squad (Ninomiya/ Kako/ Miwa)?
A. It was Tsukimi-san.
Q. I heard Izumi-kun was the only one to hold his own against Ninomiya-san! If they were to have a ranked battle, would Izumi-kun, the master, win? I would like to know the win percentage!
A. I think Ninomiya would win about 60% of the time in a 1 on 1 match. In a team fight, Tachikawa squad would win by a wide margin, and there were many occasions when Izumi beat Ninomiya.
Q. Did Shiki-san of Nasu squad become an operator because she isn't good with men?
A. I think it's because she isn't good at jumping and running.
Q. Would Arafune-san be scared of Raijinmaru if she were introduced as a dog to him?
A. He would say "It looks like a rodent." but if someone told him "This one… bites." he would probably brace himself.
Q. Has Raijinmaru been around since Yotaro was born?
A. Raijinmaru wasn't born until after Ruka and the others fled to Meeden, which was not long after Yotaro was born.
Q. Why does the Trion amount increase when using a Black Trigger?
A. It's probably because the Black Trigger's creator's trion is added. It seems like the output is higher than what the creator originally had, perhaps because the Trion poured is crystalized at the time of creation
Q. Who does Nasu-san get along with outside her squad?
A. For the boys, it's her cousin Narasaka, his disciple Kodera, somehow Zoe-san, and Utagawa who is good friends with Kumagai.
For the girls, it's Teruya, Konami, An Kobayakawa, Tsukimi's younger sister Hanao and some others from the Seirin Girls Academy, Maki Risa who likes movies, and others.
Q. Could you please tell us the name of Akane's brother! And, did they manage to confess to Kuma-chan before they moved away?
A. His name is Shouma (祥真). I don't think he managed to confess. If he had, the farewell scene with Nasu squad would have been awkward.
Q. Hatohara-san once shot someone and fell ill, who did they shoot?
A. She involentary shot Utagawa while he was using Chameleon. After that, she practiced so she could snipe while also paying attention to the radar.
Q. Why do Shooter cubes have different shapes like squares and spheres?
A. Probably because they want to control the number and power of the bullets in detail. It seems to be a very advanced technique to divide the cube into shapes other than more cubes. Izumi could likely do it too, but he isn't so particular about the shape.
Q. What's Tsuji-chan's favorite dinosaur? There was something that looked like a Plesiosaur in Ninomiya squad's strategy room, does he like Paleontology other than dinosaurs?
A. He likes the Allosaurus the most. He also likes marine reptiles such as the Elasmosaurus and the Sarcosuchus
Q. Can you use Teleporter even if there are obstacles between you and the location you want to move to?
A. No, it can't be used if there is no line of sight to your destination, so it can't be used if there is an obstacle, if your eyes are blocked or if there is a smoke screen.
Q. Does it hurt if you pull or push on Hyuse's horns?
A. The area of the base of the horns and his head shouldn't hurt much, but if you move them around a lot it will hurt his neck.
Q. I would like to know the rankings of the Gunners and Shooters like we do with the Attackers and Snipers.
A. From what I remember,
The top 3 Shooters, from the top, are Ninomiya, Izumi and Kako-san.
Top 3 Gunners are Satomi, Yuba-chan and Katagiri
Top 3 All rounders are Reiji, Arashiyama and Miwa, I believe.
Q. Why does the gentle and friendly Tonooka-kun have a punk haircut?
A. "Tono is plain and is hard to find (in rank wars)" Koala's sigh of defeat was taken seriously by Nono-san "He's not plain, he's skilled!" And she made Tono flashy, which was very well received and became the norm.
Q. Was the "Bailout" developed by Galopoula created from scratch?
A. It was developed after receiving information on Meeden from Afto, but the gate technology was already developed before. Like Border's Bailout, it eats up a lot of Trion just to set it up and it seems to be unpopular with Reghi and some others.
Q. What's Miwa-Kun's, Ninomiya-san's and Kako-san's favorite part of the Yakiniku?
A. Miwa mainly likes the skirt meat and ribs, but is okay with anything, Ninomiya likes the shoulder loin and hip meat, and Kako-san likes the tongue and rump. Luxurious.
Q. In chapter 222, Mizukami-kun and Kon-chan seemed to get along very well.
A. I don't know if they are close or not, but both of them have excellent grades, so they may have been treated as one by their school.
Q. Kunichika calls Konami, Kitora and Katori by just their last name. Is this because they are younger or is there another standard?
A. Perhaps it's a defensive instinct, to call those who are younger or the same age but who seem to be smarter than you like that. Only Kon-chan, who has helped her with her studies, gets called "chan" or "sama".
Q. How does Jin-san's Side Effect work? Can he turn it ON or OFF?
A. It's like having a new window open up in your vision (mind), you can't turn it off, but you can consciously choose to ignore it. The person you saw once gets registered in the brain channel for a while and seems to allow tracking future branching events during it.

[ad_1] Two Teams’ Captain: Left: Subhasish Bose. Right: Ryan Edwards Last ISL season, Mohun Bagan Super Giant was on a dominant run under then-head coach Antonio López Habas. However, Chennaiyin FC, who weren’t the favorites, pulled off a stunning upset at the Mariners’ own backyard, ending their 8-match winless streak. In the ongoing season, Mohun Bagan extended their winning streak to five games after defeating Jamshedpur FC in their previous encounter. Once again, they face the tricky challenge of Owen Coyle’s Chennaiyin FC. A win tonight could see the Green and Maroon Brigade reclaim the top spot on the table, surpassing Bengaluru FC. Head coach José Molina is determined to avoid any slip-ups this time. Despite Chennaiyin’s struggles in recent games after a promising start, Molina remains cautious. “They’ve had a good season, even if the results haven’t always gone their way. They are always a tough team to play against. But we are confident and hopeful of securing a win,” Molina said at the pre-match press conference. Midfielder Anirudh Thapa, who previously played under Coyle at Chennaiyin FC, is familiar with his coaching style and the threats his former side can pose. “He ( Coyle) motivates players and pushes them to perform at their best. That’s why they’re doing so well. I know they’ll come at us hard, and it will be a tough fight tomorrow,” Thapa remarked. Molina also shared a positive injury update in the press conference, confirming that key players, Greg Stewart and Ashis Rai, have recovered and are available for the game. “They’ve trained well with us and are fit to play,” he said. However, considering they’ve just returned from injury, Molina might not risk starting them in the XI, opting to keep them fresh for upcoming crucial fixtures. There are indications from training that Thapa, who didn’t start in the last game, is likely to feature in midfield alongside Apuia. Meanwhile, Apuia, Subhasish Bose, and Alberto Rodríguez are on three yellow cards, meaning another booking would result in a one-match suspension. Molina, however, is unfazed by this. “Suspensions are inevitable at some point, but I want the entire squad ready to step up. If one player is unavailable, another can come in and win games,” he explained. For More Football Related Content Click here Greg Stewart in Training. Source: Mohun Bagan SG X Tonight’s clash will also mark a homecoming for former Mohun Bagan players Kiyan Nassiri and Lalrinliana Hnamte, who return to the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK), wearing Chennaiyin FC jerseys. Both players will be eager to make a statement in familiar territory. This season, Chennaiyin FC has shown promise under Coyle. For the first time in seven ISL editions, they’ve maintained a positive goal difference after their first nine games. Previously, the Marina Machans achieved this feat only twice — +5 in the 2017-18 season and in 2014. Moreover, Chennaiyin FC holds an impressive record against Mohun Bagan at the latter’s home ground. They’ve won both of their away matches against the Mariners, scoring multiple goals in each. Remarkably, Chennaiyin FC is the only side Mohun Bagan has yet to defeat at home in the ISL. Overall, in their eight ISL meetings, Mohun Bagan has won three times, Chennaiyin twice, while three matches ended in draws. Coyle knows the challenge ahead but remains optimistic about his team’s chances. “It’s a big game for us. Mohun Bagan has a huge budget and a strong squad, but we’ve shown that we can win in big arenas. We’ll give everything for a spirited performance,” Coyle said in the pre-match press conference. Can you go more in depth on how you think the 19year old group would react to jin's kidnapping? It's been so long since I've read world trigger that I've forgotten most everyone's ages/group dynamics outside the main cast (it makes me sad thinking about how yotaro would take it)
There are so many great dynamics among the characters, and even though there's such an abundance and obviously I have favorites, I still think it's an incredible feat that Ashihara has been able to humanize every single one of these characters to such a high degree. The fact that all of these Border agents are such good friends with each other outside of their own squads makes it all seem so much more like one big family and I really love that!
The 19-year-old group is my favorite because they're such DORKS. Jin and Arashiyama are my favorite characters on their own, but knowing how much sillier they get when they're with the other three just... makes my heart swell. And just knowing that Jin has a core group of close friends outside of Tamakoma makes me so happy. ;-; He really needs that and before knowing about how close this group actually is, I was worried that he didn't have a close-knit group of pals so I'm just really happy that he has that.
SO HAHA LET'S BREAK THEM WITH SOME ANGST NOW
Yuba would probably just... be mad. He'd be irritable about everything and snap at the others and possibly even berate Jin himself for getting himself into such a mess. But of course, on the inside, he'd be bottling his very real concern, and I could see him go to blow up on one of the others but eventually melt and give it up. He'd probably be exasperated and depressed and unsure what to do.
Ikoma would definitely be the most emotional of the bunch. I think he'd be kind of confused about the situation and what to make of it, but he wouldn't try to hide away his depression. He'd be less talkative than normal, far less silly and carefree. I think he just wouldn't really know what to do with himself.
Kakizaki would be the one trying to keep the others afloat. He'd say reassuring things like "he's going to be okay" or "we're going to get him back." Deep down, of course, he'd also be feeling that dread and concern, but I think he'd be able to keep face the best of the group. He'd pretty much be the one trying to offer comfort in whatever way he could manage, despite also hurting himself.
Arashiyama would take it the hardest and I could see him just becoming lost. He and Jin have known each other the longest and are the closest, and Arashiyama obviously cares about Jin and his well-being a LOT. He'd be scared over what might be happening to Jin, what he might be going through at that exact moment. He'd retreat inside of himself because even though Arashiyama is confident and outspoken and reliable, he's also incredibly prone to worry and very fragile when it comes to his loved ones. He'd lose that sparkle in his eye and the glow around him would fade. He might feel angry at himself for not being able to stop it. I could just see him hitting a wall, probably one that he hadn't expected and wasn't prepared for at all.
They'd be there for each other, though. And when Jin comes home, a bit battered and bruised but still the Jin they know and love, they'd celebrate by going on a trip to Kyoto, to replace the one that they'd had to cancel when their friend was taken from them.
#anon#ask#tay talks#19 year olds#because goddammit jin's not gonna die ;-;#he can get kidnapped and traumatized but like hell I'll let ashihara live down killing him#jk if it's done well and it's meaningful and stuff I'll give ashihara a handshake through my tears#OMG NO YOUTAROOUUUU#THAT WOULD BE THE SADDEST FRICKIN THING NOOOOO#I don't even know how I'd feel about that... probably dead
