The two women on the side were wearing a suling (standing-collar) as an undershirt with a panyuanling (round-collar) shan/ao. The women on the left wore a pair of gongxie. The two women in the middle wearing some sort of shuitianyi (patchwork gown, "paddy field garment").

Hi my name is crimson rain sought flower and i make it rain blood (that's how i got my name) and i have a cursed saber with a sentient eye like blood and a lot of people tell me I look like Wu Ming (AN: if you don't know who he is, good!). I was wearing red lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking through Ghost City. It was very busy at the casino so a lot of people were betting their lives, which I was very happy about. A lot of heavenly officials in disguise stared at me. I put my middle finger up at them.

one of the lady’s most trusted. no many stood up for her when her deadbeat husband raged on with his suspicious activity. it was the only reason he left you alone too. he didn’t like when people were not scared of him.

and despite mèng yáo’s worries for you getting hurt by him one day. you waved it off and told her that a human like you was the furthest thing from a subject of interest for him. you had always been focused on making sure she felt safe and cared for along the rest of the maids.

a respected rank you had here at the large estate. you interacted with her kin too. you were fond of them, saddened by the fact you did not get to see them often.

you did enjoy the company of the younger son of hers, though sickly most of the time. he was a comfortable presence to have around when everything wasn’t riled up in chaos. he’d have bad episodes at times because of it. . .

snapped out of your thoughts, you hear footsteps approaching. head turned over your shoulder and eyes catching glimpse of the familiar lavender and black robes of your lady’s robes. her long black hair pulled into an intricate, vintage hairstyle of her own culture.

she walks towards you, a box in her hands. and you wonder immediately if it is a delivery to be made to someone.

so you rise from the ground and wander over to her. touching the hands that has caressed your face and body in so many loving ways before. tracing them gently.

“mrs. yuè mèng yáo, to whom shall i deliver this to.” you inquire, eyes landing at her soft, dioxazine ones. that with hundreds of years going by, has turned slightly amethyst. though still as vibrant as they ever have been. if not more.

light catches in her silver earring, glimmering. while her lips curl into a big smile and her hands hand the box over to you.

“well, if you would open the box my dear.” she whispers softly and chuckles at your puzzled expression.

such an odd request, you had never received one of those before.

so slowly, but with confusion, you open up the box. seeing a beautiful matching hanfu as her’s. one from the ming dynasty. a Yuanling Robe. alongside with an intricate silver hairpin, that at the end of it holds a moon shaped quartz, while amethysts hang from the edgs of it.

you look up at mèng yáo once again. even more confused than before.

she smiles, dark red lipstick catching your eyes before they shoot back up to hers.

“madame?”

“i would like you to deliver this to a very special maid of mine. one who truly means so much to me and makes me feel loved and safe more than i have in a few 80 years or so.” she declares, her fan unfurling and covering the bottom of her face.

“and tell her that it reminds me of her and all of her stages of blossoming into the most amazing woman i have ever known.”

you feel your entire body go slack. tears welling up in your eyes from the sheer devotion she has displayed for you.

if anyone has helped you along in this journey of transitioning, it is her. you have never felt more beautiful than you have now in the present day.

a flower bud on the cherry trees that bloomed a little too late but did with the encouragment of the tree itself.

“thank- thank you madame.” you thank her shakily. looking back down at the robe and up at her.

“come. come let us put it on you.” she chimes softly, happily waving you with her and whisking you off. pressing a gentle kiss to your cheek before getting to your lips.
