Why am I the person I am and not someone else?

Question after question, my life has held. Mystery of the memories I didn’t know I held. Pursuit of popularity through thievery of knowledge.

Why is this who I’ve become?

I wonder if such memories had stayed and you hadn’t left, would I be this way? Or perhaps I would be kinder, more gentle, if I had a brother to set me, on my path, straight.
