Love love so much that everyone's got three different walk cycles (this is about kingdom battle). That's not necessary. Almost no one is going to be controlling these guys outside a full sprint because it's just easier to tilt the control all the way. But they're there and it's cute. Adds personality

Happy Halloween! (OC art)

I originally posted this on my deviantart but I decided to post it here too.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃

As its Halloween I decided to draw some art of my monster OCs Luca, the Werewolf, and Zac, the Vampire.

I knew the second I chose these two that Luca's costume would be Little Red Riding Hood not just because he's a wolf and it's ironic but because when I first came up with him he was originally going to be the son of Little Red and the Wolf (like in Ever After High) but as I developed him I got rid of the fairy tale elements and went for an Urban Fantasy Horror. So this is kinda a reference to that.

Zac is where I had trouble though. I didn't just want him to dress up as an old-timey vampire because that'd be boring and as you can't see his body ypud probably not be able to see it anyway so I decided to give him a crown as in my story Zac is the Prince of Vampires (the grandson of the King) so I thought it'd fit, you could also see it as him bragging which is very in-character for him.

I decided to colour the pumpkin in pencil as I knew that was a lot to colour and it wouldn't look good in marker. This is actually my first time colouring these characters with markers as I usually use pencils as it work better for Luca's fur - that's why his ears are coloured with pencils to look more fur like.

I'm really proud of how this came out. It was a lot (took me about 2 days) to do with character costumes, posing and colouring but it came out great!

BTW while doing this piece I ended up watching Overly Sarcastic Productions Werewolf video and it's a great piece of research especially for me and my story. Here's the link:

one thing i feel like is really important to remember, something skam did perfectly and skamfr demonstrated how hard it actually is to get right: focus on one or two topics and don’t try to shove as many topics into one season as you can

whatever they do I want them to hire experts to write the season, and i want the actors playing the part to actually have a connection to the character they are playing, meaning let a disabled actor play a disabled character and a lesbian actress a lesbian character
