jsrf is such a funny fucking game. theres an implication that the entire game takes place within a week and youd Only know this if you read the old japanese website.

in the site, it mentions that the giant salamander you see in the sewers is named nushi. nushi's background is that it lived for a week before being consumed as sashimi on some tv show, only to end up hospitalizing a performer for 75 days and cancelling the show

nushi is obviously alive and kicking in the sewers while you play future, you can even stand on top of it as it walks around. this means that at some point after the game concludes, nushi is eaten

this is also the single character in the game to have a canon age

the only fucking character with a confirmed age in jet set radio future is a salamander that tells us roughly how long the game is taking place

this information also means that yoyo wasnt even trapped in that cage for very long, or that nt3000 took very long to develop. already a week tops for the full story, but theres a good section of yoyo actually being playable in future... hes only with the golden rhinos for a few days at most
