Oh boy, what a year this has been. All I can say is that I've been really REALLY leaning into drawing people with glasses and dark hair (coughcoughhuxleyscoughcough). I've been juggling grad school since April, which has actually been notably easier than undergrad, hence the better art in November/December. Even though my art hasn't improved (imo), I'm glad that I still find happiness in doing it. December was a prosperous month and reminds me that I still have the passion to keep it up. I have 3 internships this year, most of them with 40 hour workweeks so I won't know if I can keep this up. Nevertheless I get a lot of happiness from drawing quick small doodles instead of big paintings, even though a pretty painting feels like unclogging a gutter.
